I'm on an ACTUAL PLAY TTRPG PODCAST called DICE FUNK
That's right folks, I'm a huge nerd and I'm playing a dryad bard as part of a 3 person team of plant weirdos on the newest season of Dice Funk called Banyan!
New episodes come out every Sunday and I promise to be as obnoxious about it as possible ❤️
monkeypaw where I get invited to play on dicefunk rezubian but I have to play the character I accidentally helped one of the players into creating and hate with my entire being
After some introspection, I think I've come to realize why I have such a hard time getting into Actual Play Tabletop RPG podcasts like Critical Role, Naddpod, and DiceFunk. I always want to get into the swing of these things, but I end up putting it off indefinitely after a few episodes rather consistently, and until now I haven't really known why.
If I were to put it into words, it's that any improv-based media has a (seemingly) random chance to set off my social anxiety the longer I listen to it, not like a full-blown attack set off, but it certainly initiates a strong feeling of unease. I wish I knew a bit more about what exactly sets me off, perhaps trying to get to the bottom of this will be a project for when my mental health is in a slightly better place.

ID #2: An illustration of Lisa, a colorful clown woman, and Saint Cecilia, a vampire, walking hand in hand as they speak to each other. Lisa has big pink hair tied up into a loose, messy bun. She's wearing butterfly face paint and a large red nose, as well as large red clown shoes. Her outfit is a plain yellow shirt and magenta paint splattered overalls held up with rainbow suspenders, and matching rainbow socks.
