one thing i absolutely love about fanfiction is how we all have different versions of these characters and so sometimes we start collecting little headcanons and adding them to you own view of them. like dean’s favorite poem is howl for me because of atylk, he has a peanut allergy because of c-s-t-l, and lilies were mary’s favorite flowers so they remind him of her because of angel’s wild. like sometimes we just see little headcanons we enjoy and go ‘ooh i like this one, i’ll keep it, thank you’ i just think it’s such a simple and sweet way of sharing these characters we love with each other

shit just keeps happening in dta oh my god. like i thought i disliked sidney because of his dumb shit in the first two books but that is NOTHING compared to my current hatred for motherfucking MICAH and little bitch KYLE. oh and also kat now apparently??? i mean i GUESS she gets a pass because her boyfriend died like a day ago but BITCH????? how is it alicia’s fault???? didn’t andy LIKE alicia??? what the everloving FUCK is wrong with you. and then you have motherfucking KYLE i swear to god i’d bitchslap that hoe on sight if i met him. yes i am invested in ocs from a destiel fic a normal amount why do you ask

i love how dta introduces you to a brand new world but shows it to you by progressively broadening it. like in book 1 we mostly stay inside dean and cas’s cabin, they go around a little but that’s mostly it. book 2 is about all of chitaqua. book 3 includes both chitaqua and ichabod/the alliance. book 4 not only broadens their focus to all of kansas (with the wards and misborns etc) but also takes us into the past/ancient rome. and not to speculate on the future of dta but im guessing we’ll eventually go to the other camps too, including amy’s, and they’re out of kansas and all across america. same for characters, book 1 is just, what, dean, cas, chuck, and vera? then in book 2 we get closer to joe, amanda, alicia, kamal, etc. book 3 introduces us to all of ichabod, so alison, teresa, manuel, haruhi, etc. and then book 4 introdues us to. well pretty much all of kansas. including ex chitaquans like carol, micah and erica, but also, like, wendy, rosario, etc. and if my amy theory is correct we’ll meet the other camps later on. idk i just like the way the world and threats become increasingly bigger and richer as we go
