Derek: So Queeny, what’s the problem?
Chloé: 2 things, 1st off, Don’t call me that. It’s either Queen bee or Your majesty. 2nd, the science teacher is totally working with that drug ring.
Derek: And what makes you say that?
Chloé: I don’t care how elite this school is, any teacher that can own a Gabriel Brand Leather brief case is clearly getting his money elsewhere.
Derek:(sighs) You are probably wrong, but fine. I’m sure we won’t find anything.

First School Dance in New York
This is based on @gale-of-the-nomads Queen Bee’s City AU. I do not have any authority with it don’t have him come after me because of my fan ways😂
-This is deeper into the AU but still pretty early since Derek still has his girlfriend.
-Chloe is freaking out about the dance because she doesn’t have a date and it’s literally in a month.
-Of course she asks Derek to help her because he’s literally her only friend besides Gabby
-So he goes to all his guy friends.
-“Sorry, dude, but she’s kind of a bitch,”. “Yes, I’m well aware that she’s kind of a bitch but bite the bullet please,”
-But one godsend of a friend agrees and he’s so relieved.
-He tells Chloe and she complains a little. “Ugh... a nerd...?” “Not a nerd. My friend and he’s pretty okay to look at!”
-But she’s less of a bitch to him at this point so she says whatever and starts talking excitedly about the dress she already has prepared
-“I thought you said you weren’t going before I said anything about finding you a date?” “I may have been preparing for when a guy looks past attitude and finds me hopelessly attractive,”
-She changes into her dress and tries her best to copy poses she remembers Adrien doing as her own mini catwalk in her room
-“Fit for a queen if I do say so myself,” That earns a glare that could kill thrown towards his face. “You’ll ruin my secret identity!” “Were literally alone in this room,”
-Derek did say he was going with his girlfriend but what kind of friend would he be if he didn’t save one dance for his partner?
-And of course during the dance they have to become Queen Bee and Stinger due to some entitled teen becoming angry at a girl rejecting him and planning to burn down the school during the dance or something
-“A hero’s work is never done,” “I’m the hero, you’re the sidekick,” “And after all that work to find you a date too,”

The Story of an Idea - Google I/O 2017 from Nexus on Vimeo.

Google’s hotly anticipated annual I/O developers’ conference in San Francisco kicked off with a 4.5 minute animated short film from Nexus Studios’ director FX Goby. Premiering across 3 cinematic screens to an audience on the ground of 7000, it was live-streamed to millions of viewers around the globe.
FX’s charming animation follows the story of ‘Aye’, protecting and nurturing ‘Idea’ until it evolves into something stellar.
In order to tell that story, FX directed a team of over 40 studio artists at Nexus to reflect the evolution of animation itself. The film builds from hand drawn 2D black and white animation to a full CG VFX heavy grand finale and was combined with a full soundtrack in surround sound for an advanced concert audio system.
Says FX: “It felt like all the planets were aligned. We had the full trust and support of Google from the beginning, it was extremely collaborative working with the creative team there and equally the most challenging and smooth running project I’ve had the chance to work on”.
“Every press conference should start with adorable animation like this.”

I’m just imagining Derek doing something brave and saving Queen bee, and she thinks she lost her partner. She goes full Killer Bee and the poor gangster that thought he could get away from Queen bee is doomed.
And when she saves the day. The news is all over to get her story, but she doesn’t even care about the news, she lost Stinger... until a beaten up kid in a costume reveals he’s alive. She runs to him. Derek ready to be yelled at for stealing the spotlight only to get hugged.
“I thought I lost you.”
And stinger smiles a bit
“And leaves you alone? I can’t subject the city to that chaos.”
“Just shut up and let me have this.”
“Okay Queeny.”

Not to jump the gun or anything, but does Chloe ever go back to Paris in Queen Bee's City?
Queen Bee: Homecoming (part 1)
- Chloé’s Class was going to Paris for two weeks for a special education course and what not. Chloé is not thrilled.
-“Come on Chloé, you can take a break from Crimefighting. Besides this is your hometown, You can tell me about all the good places to visit.”
-“You are just saying that because ‘Melody’ couldn’t come.”
-Derek blushes, sadly the girl he was crushing on couldn’t come with them since her mother refused to sign the permission slip. Most people consider Paris a No Go zone.
-“Well, I’m trying to make the most of it.”
-Akuma attack.
-Derek’s first time seeing an Akuma.
-“What the f***!?”
-Chloé was the only one in the class not crapping themselves.
-“Ugh! Tourists.”
-Chloé managed to get the class to safety, before she slipped away to get changed.
-Derek followed, because he has SO MANY QUESTIONS.
-“What the hell is that thing? Is that a super villain?!”
-“Ugh! No, it’s an Akumatized person. A person who got bad feelings cause they are weak and the douchebag named Hawkmoth takes advantage of their emotions with these weird butterfly things called Akuma. Then they go rampage, usually involving their emotional distress.”
-“wow, so that blog is true. I just thought it was an elaborate French sh*tposter.”
-“The Ladyblog? No, it’s real, but the person who runs it SUCKS.”
- Chloé suited up goes and fights the akuma.
-Derek follows behind, in his own costume. He figured he would need to hide his identity. He is called “Stinger.” He wears a costume more akin to Spider-Man and blue beetle mix but with a bee theme and it’s like body armor. He has gauntlets or ‘Stingers’ that help him out. Still thinking this is f***ing crazy
- So Queen bee tells Stinger to watch for any cheap tricks.
-So Queen bee is fighting this akuma. And despite the akuma actually having powers, Chloé is doing surprisingly well. It’s too bad she isn’t really doing any damage
-Hawkmoth Realizes who the akuma is fighting.
-“Queen Bee? Oh, so Chloé is back in Paris. Now This is interesting.” Hawkmoth says to himself.
-The akuma starts to get the upper hand but before he can. Ladybug gets the akuma and bags him with ease.
-Derek/Stinger is star struck.
-Akuma is purified and Ladybug didn’t even need lucky charm.
-Queen bee is annoyed.
-Ladybug sees the person she just saved.
-“Chloé? You’re back in Paris?”
-Stinger is shook.
-“Wait! You know Ladybug!?”
-“Oh, does she know me.”
-Ladybug turns her attention to the other costumed hero.
-“I’m sorry, But who are you?”
-“I’m Derek I mean... Stinger! I am a huge fan! Oh wow, I can’t believe I’m meeting the Ladybug!” He gushed
-“Well nice to meet you. I hope Chloé isn’t causing you too much trouble.”
-“Stop That!”
-Chloé gets in between them.
-“Look Ladybug! I’ve got my own crime fighting beat! I just happened to be back and wanted to help make sure you weren’t slacking.”
-“Crimefighting? What are you?
-“While you’re here fighting people in dumb costumes with your Super powers, I’m on the streets fighting with my skills, against crooks and villains that are actually evil.”
-Ladybug blinks. “YOURE DOING WHAT!?”
-Chat noir arrives.
-“Sorry I’m Late. I got caught up... Chloé”
-“YOU KNOW BOTH OF THEM!?”
- “NOT NOW STINGER!”
-Ladybug is looking at Chloé like she has gone nuts.
-Ladybug looks to stinger.
-“Is she...”
-Ladybug does the hand motion for crazy.
-“Yes, but she does fight crime.”
-Ladybug and chat noir are actually stunned
-“Chloé! That’s insanely dangerous!”
-“For talentless losers who are nothing without their powers it would be. You guys wouldn’t last a day without your precious miraculous.”
-“Chloé that’s insane.”
-“Well I wouldn’t be fighting without my miraculous if you didn’t steal it!”
-“Wait what!?”
-Derek is so lost right now.
-“I had super powers like ladybug! Until she took them away.”
-““You were exposed! Hawkmoth knew who you were. Hell, all of Paris knew. You weren’t even initially picked. Then you double crossed everyone and almost doomed Paris!”
-Derek is getting hit with a LOT.
-“You were a villain?”
-“Because You betrayed ME!”
-An Akuma hits Chloé’s belt.

in queen bee's city do you have more headcanon on chole is seen by everone in her school and city in her civilian self and as queen bee?
I am VERY glad you asked.
You know how in the show everyone more or less gravitates towards Marinette because she is a pure bean who wants to help people and deserves joy and Happiness?
Well Chloé subverts that.
People start gravitating towards Chloé. Not because she is nice, she is still a b****, the only difference is she doesn't tolerate OTHER people’s BS. She stopped a nerd from getting picked on. Why? Because that Dweeb was tutoring her in math, and he needs both eyes to help her out.
That band geek is getting picked on by the cheerleaders? Not while it stops her from getting to her locker.
Chloé does start to realize her actions actually have a positive effect on the school.
Chloé starts to become popular, because she is a nasty hardcore b****, and everyone loves her for it.
People start helping her out because she helped them out. Chloé realizing the benefits to this.
“So thats why Marinette was always to Nice-nice with people. That clever b****.”
“Maybe its because she was actually a good person”
“Whatever. I aint complaining.”
Derek has no idea why and it irritates him to no end.
Slowly, Chloé starts to like these people. She is still mean, but she is like the least of two evils and everyone in the school deals with it.

ML au: Queen Bee’s City (more)
(Because I am hyper fixated on this concept)
-Chloé sucked at being a vigilante when she first started. She couldn't even stop a graffiti artist from tagging a wall.
-But over time, (and with Derek helping her not die) Chloé actually got more competent as Queen Bee, the vigilante of New York.
-Derek has to use Chloé’s ego to make her do anything, Like train or focus on things. Derek quickly realizes Chloé’s pride and vanity are powerful and unbelievably durable forces.
-She almost flunked out of the grade, but once Derek mentioned that if people find out Queen bee was a high school drop out, she would lose their respect. Chloé started pulling B’s in class.
-Chloé was adept in combat. She picked up self defense courses easily, something that was impressive.
-Chloé did a lot of Yoga, so she was flexible and had a lot of core strength, so this helped her develop more as a heroine.
-Chloé realized she was developing muscle and felt grossed out and almost stopped training, until Derek pointed out that fitness was ‘Fashionable’ or something.
-She starts making the news, and everyone keeps messing up her name, much to her annoyance.
-Chloé develops an interesting Dynamic with the super hero nerd. She noticed his crush on the library girl.
-“As an act of kindness I will help your loser butt win her over.”
-“Chloé, you are literally the worst person I know. I doubt you can help me win over Melody.”
-(The girl Derek was crushing on was named Melody.)
-“Melody? Omg what a lame ass name!”
-”Screw you, its a wonderful name.”
-Chloé takes a look at the girl.
-“Well she seems in your league. “
-“Really? That is the nicest thing you’ve said to me.”
“That was me dissing her.” Chloé comments.
- “Okay, follow me.”
-Chloé starts giving him advice on how to win over the girl.
-”Trust me, Girls dig confidence. You have none, therefore you are unattractive to girls like me?”
-”Youre a girl, I thought you were just an evil cicada.”
-”Says the lame loser.”
-”Your clothes are crap.”
-“What’s wrong with my clothes!”
“You wear hoodies and  jeans! Mix it up. You are such a hobo”
-Chloé buys him new clothes, and helps him with his hair, and everything.
-“Okay, get your butt out here. Let’s see what you look like.”
-He walks out
-Chloé felt something (a BEAT in her black heart?)
“Not bad. You actually look passable.”
-“That is the nicest thing you have said to me.”
-“Now go sweep that dweeb off her feet.”
-“Thanks Chloé.”
-Chloé smiles as she watches the door close.
-“Ugh! I don’t get how That loser Marinette does this. Helping people with their romantic life. It only makes me feel worse.”
-"What's with this ridiculous warm feeling in my chest?! RIDICULOUS! UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!"
-She ends up spying on his date. Trench coat Sunglasses.

Note
How does Chloé convince her new friends that she, the new girl from France, isn’t Queen Bee, the mysterious hero with a very discernible French accent who just happened to show up in New York at around the same time she did?
Well it does help that she wasn't well known at all for a while. At least for the first 6 months. So as far as people know, they didn't show up at the same time. Not a lot of footage or interviews were gathered when she first started out. So her English got a lot better, as for her accent. Most people just assume its part of her persona and say its faked to give her an air of sophistication. Which pisses Chloé off.
Derek finds it hilarious

Oh almighty angst penguin, you left us on a cliffhanger on the queen bee city homecoming. Do you have the energy to continue? My mind has been going nuts with possibilities today and I'm excited to read about it when you get to it
Queen Bee: Homecoming (part 2)
(Part 1)
-Hawkmoth tries to talk to Chloé.
-“It has been a long time my Queen. It seems you have become much more then you once were. I commend you for your efforts.”
-Stinger is wondering what is happening.
-Ladybug gets ready to snatch her belt and free the akuma but Chloé puts out her hand.
-“Oh, you seem interested now that you think you can use me. Sorry butterfly boy, I am not your pawn. I’ve out grown you.”
-Ladybug watch as the akuma left Chloé. She quickly purified it, but after that. She was completely surprised. As was Chat noir.
-“You… you resisted getting Akumatized?”
-“What? Like it’s hard? No one tells a queen what to do. I DECIDE what I do.”
-“I don’t need his powers!”
-She looks Ladybug in her eyes
-“I’m better then that.”
-Queen bee grabs Stinger.
-“Come on. We are done here.”
-“Huh!? Oh okay.” Derek is still reeling.
-Chloé uses her grappling hook and leaves.
-Ladybug and Chat noir both realize they need to dig into what Chloé’s been up to.

-Marinette decides to look up New York news, see what exactly is going on with Chloé and her vigilante actions. Maybe she is stopping minor crime like jay walking or littering or…
-*Bee Heroine Busts Underworld Drug ring.*
-She keeps looking more news of Queen bee (the name is always wrong, but the pictures are right) her stopping robberies, Gang activities, muggings, even an assassination attempt on a CEO. It was all the more shocking the more she read. Chloé did all this.
-“Oh Sweet kwami what has she been doing”
______________________________________________________________________
-Adrien seeing Chloé later
-“ADRIKINS!”
-Adrien meeting Derek (Adrien realizes that this is the guy who is Stinger. He is not that bad looking, but he doesn't seem Like Chloé’s type, at least in physical appearance.)
-Adrien hearing from Chloé about her crime fighting. Derek tried to have Chloé not talk about it, but Chloé assures him that Adrien is trustworthy.
-Which Adrien tells her is dangerous
“Dude, if you are really her childhood friend, you would know that won’t work.”
-Adrien realizes this Derek guy knows her pretty well
-(Chloé needing to do something for her dad, leaves Adrien and Derek alone)
-“Are you and Chloé Dating?”(
-Derek nearly choked.
-“What? Are you nuts!?”
-“Oh... that’s too bad. You seem like the only one that can keep up with her. You might be someone really good for her.”
-Derek May have blushed a bit at that. But shook that off, he was in a relationship, and currently happy.
-“So, are you dating anyone?” Derek asks changing the subject.
Adrien scratches his head.
-Derek thinking
‘-This guy is a model. So he is probably a total playboy. I bet he banged a bunch of chicks.’
-“Not at the moment... my last relationship went... I wasn’t ready.” (I imagine this is mid season 4 and He and Kagami are not an item)
-‘Code for she wouldn’t give him any. What an asshole’
-Derek judging this guy. Unaware that Adrien is literally too innocent.
-Derek decides to not beat around the bush and cure his curiosity (I should remind you that Queen bee city is a LOT more mature in themes)
-“So pretty boy, how many times have you done it?”
-“Done what?”
-“You know exactly what one talking about. A handsome model like you. You probably have plenty of experience.”
-Adrien thinks he is talking about kissing
-“Oh! Well, I guess I’ve done it a few times. Though I don’t remember the first two.”
-“What!? How do you not remember!?”
-“I was under the influence and not really aware of it? (Akuma)”
-“You were under the influence and you still did it!? (Drunk/high)”
-‘What kind of high class orgy did this asshole get into?’
-“Yea... I wish I could remember. I bet it was incredible. I saw the pictures.”
-“THERE ARE PICTURES!?!!”
-Chloé comes back
-Derek says he needs air. Derek leaves to go scream.
-”What the f*** is wrong with this country!?”
-Adrien looks at Chloé
“Your friend is nice. Though he is a bit high strung. But then again kisses are important to remember.”
(There is so much more ,but this scene is kind of the joke. Part 3 is a lot more serious and delves more into Chloé’s character)
