I made comic and that took more than expected! I was a little inspired and I know a promp was either Kai to protect the Shonen Tanteis but in my brain was just that ova with Kaito and the Kids and couldn't stop thinking about the Kids forcing him to become part of they're club with Conan and Ai... hahaha

Ever since you shared your lovely mugs with me, the thought that Ran would get them as a matching kitty set for herself and Conan, wouldn't leave me alone. So I decided to embrace the idea; for both the headcanon and the personal touch.
Originally I planned something more silly, but the soothing vibes of my first sketch were just so lovely, I went with this instead (especially since I thought you might appreciate a bit of peace).

Hey @itssagaruu! I'm your (new) dcmk secret-santa! Sorry for being so late!
Like I mentioned earlier, it was my first time drawing Rei and Akai (other than quick sketches).
I think their dynamic is ironically funny (esp with akai being subaru). I feel like they'd actually get along great, if it wasn't for that... incident. At least we have Conan to be their peacemaker for now.
The fact that the three of them all have multiple identities too. (depending if we're including non-canon or minor identities for Shinichi and/or Akai)
(P.S. The sketch is titled: (Cafe Poirot VS Home Cooking showdown: Amuro-niisan's sandwiches vs Subaru-san's curry!) (Amuro brought juice, so he get an extra point, but Subaru provided the glass so technically they're tied...)

Hello there! This is my gift for @hexfloog for the @dcmk-exchange ! I've done a ficlet, and two doodles, I hope you enjoy!
Listen, just because Heiji spent a lot of time around Ku- Conan-kun, it didn’t mean he was good with kids. In fact, most children baffled him. Conan-kun was just… a very special case. Hanging out with him did not qualify Heiji to look after kids, no way no how.
Yet, here he was. Alone with Kudo’s little friends.
He sighed, fidgeting with the brim of his hat. This was alright, he only had to watch them for a half an hour or so, what could go wrong in that time? He winced. He knew better than to ask that question.
“Heiji-oniichan!” Ayumi-chan tugged at his jacket. He sighed, looking down into her big blue eyes.
“Yeah?”
“Where’s Conan-kun?” She blinked at him.
“Uhhh…” Kudo was, in fact, somewhere in the bowels of Tokyo chasing down some bombers. Honestly, Heiji hadn’t been given details. Kudo had called him, and had told him very sternly not to let the kids out of his sight. Mere moments later, Ran-chan had ordered him to do the very same thing as she ran off to go track down her wayward charge. He was really regretting not bringing Kazuha with him for once. “I’m not entirely sure,” He shrugged. Better to just be vague.
“Really?” Genta-kun raised an eyebrow incredulously. “I bet you do know, and you’re just trying to keep us from following him,” He huffed. Well, at least half of that was true.
“Conan-kun is always trying to hog all the glory!” Mitsuhiko-kun whined. “Don’t you feel left out too?”
Heiji’s eyebrow twitched. He couldn’t lie, he did hate feeling left behind by Kudo, but that was clearly not what this was. He just wanted his friends to be safe, and currently Heiji was the only one available to do that. This was still important.
…Even if he would really rather be going after a bomber.
“C’mon Heiji-oniichan! Help us go after Conan-kun?” Ayumi-chan blinked up at him with what probably wasn’t even her best puppydog eyes. He sighed, dragging a hand over his face.
“No.”
“Awww…” All three of them wilted.
“But… maybe we could do something to help from afar?” He suggested, watching the light return to their eyes.
“Oh oh oh! Like information work? We can do that!” Mitsuhiko-kun said, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
“Yeah, something like that,” Heiji said, rubbing the back of his head. Agasa-Hakase and the little lady were at some conference somewhere, if he remembered correctly, but surely they wouldn’t mind if Heiji used their computers, right? To keep the kids out of trouble? “Let’s head over to Hakase’s house, and see what we can do, yeah?”
“YEAH!” They cheered, all making a dash for the door. He sighed, getting to his feet and dusting off his jacket. This wasn’t that hard, he could absolutely watch them for an afternoon with no incident.

hiya @akai-anna, I'm your gift-giver for the @dcmk-exchange !! Thank you soooo much for being patient with me, for the past couple weeks!
When I went through your Vermouth posts and read through them, you inspired me to remember how much I love her character she is so cool!! We'll get more of her backstory one day... one day... !! You actually inspired me to go back and watch her episodes for this, and 10/10 they still hold up :D
(that top Vermouth is actually holding a gun down and that's why her arms are like that, but when I turned on the top layer, I realized the big Vermouth covered the entire gun! Whoops!)
The drawing's not as polished as I would have liked it to be, but I hope that you like it! It's been an absolute blast talking to you these past couple of weeks :D I loved hearing your thoughts about Detco and day to day life (and the doggos. of course the doggos!) I'll reply to your answer to my ask off anon tomorrow cause it's way too late here, (hehe), but I did see you had a busy day today! Good job on that, and hope you can have a good sleep ^_^!

Hi @runecel! I was your secret @dcmk-exchange 'santa'. It was nice to get to know you through asks and such!
You mentioned a crossover between Danganronpa and Detective Conan would be cool so I tried to make a character introduction card for the characters you listed(I also added Sonoko just because I came up with an ultimate for her). Sorry it's a tad late, the coloring took longer than I expected. I was originally planning to do more art like of a picture of them in the courtroom but didn't have much time to draw the other stuff I planned since I got sick. Either way I hope you like it! 😊😊😊
