Piccolo having stairs in his house especially-made for Pan alone and/or for aesthetic is something I'm really on board for

Not to mention... I imagine Pan just leaves Piccolo with her drawings and Piccolo instantly remember Chi-chi and Gohan insisting that (kid) goten's and pan's drawings should be on the refrigerator and since he doesn't have one he just silently nods at himself going "my whole wall is her refrigerator"

Obviousy spoilers warning for Dragon Ball S Superhero but like

While other people complained about Piccolo’s behaviour in the movie I find it INCREDIBLY HILARIOUS.

My bestie Piccolo was trying to manage a midlife crisis AND a worldwide crisis all on his own because no one was available to help, and then these assholes from the new RR are all like ‘ha ha we’re gonna kidnap Pan so we can lure the other aliens in’

And Piccolo is so done with everyone that he decides to personally escort Pan to their HQ, unlease this little ball of fury upon their sorry asses, arrange the situation so that Gohan will have to come and very angrily woop their asses some more,

AND THEN ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, Piccolo flirts with their best soldier and convinces him and his brother to turn against the RR.

Sure this wasn’t his brightest parenting but my god if it wasn’t hilarious and brutal.

Of course the aftermath was as horrible as most of the decisions Piccolo made that day but I still find the whole situation funny as hell like damn

I saw someone draw the Gammas with shark tails, and it was like. Your brain?? Anyway I’ve decided the Gammas like to hang out in the water. It kinda makes sense they’d be amphibious given they were designed to be the perfect hero, so they can help out folks in like floods and stuff. Then I was possessed by the urge to draw this image.

DBSSH musings about Akira Toriyama's thoughts about Gohan 🤔

Akira Toriyama's thoughts on Gohan (translated by @Herms98 on Twitter):

I find it so interesting that Akira Toriyama said he tried drawing Gohan with "a scary face and pale skin". He later said it didn't feel like Gohan but like...that was his first attempt/intention. Even he can't resist edgy OOC Gohan 🤣 But I find it so interesting that he sees that kind of character within Gohan too. Even the final transformation looks kinda pale and scary. I wonder what the initial drafts were like 🤔

Which makes me wonder how he characterizes Gohan's latent power. Gohan's kinda depicted as an "explosive weapon" throughout the series, like even now. The other characters take their latent power and control it and refine it so it just becomes their regular energy that they have access to. But it feels like Gohan, no matter how much power he comes into, will always have more power that's beyond this "wild" switch.

Makes me think of Mob's arc in MP100 where he had that bout of "100% ecstacy" during his fight with Tochiro where he actually started to enjoy letting out all of his power but then he immediately regrets not being in control of himself.

Idk I don't really have any concluding thoughts on this, just ramblings. But like...Gohan with a scary face and pale skin...interesting that unlike anyone else, Gohan's power is shown to be explosive and uncontrollable and scary like that.
