I put two and two together! The Great mothers aren't bringing coffins to Dathomir, they're bringing back a whole civilization of nightsisters in suspended animation. That's Why Morgan Elsbeth said "For dathomir" and sacrificed herself so Thrawn could escape. That's why Ezra mentioned that Thrawn woke up the Great Mothers after he arrived. And that's why Thrawn's first stop was Dathomir. They're rebulding the civilization after it was wiped out during the clone war

My Biggest Opinion on the Ahsoka show (other than the obvious) is that it would have been better as a full season. I'm frankly tired of this six-to-eight episodes nonsense that modern TV does; I remember the delightful old days where you got like fifteen-to-twenty-odd episodes per season of a show and that's so much better. It gives you room to explore the backstory of all the players involved so their motivations make more sense. It gives you room to mess with a longer narrative so the characters get proper growth where you can look at a scene from the beginning and a (perchance mirroring?) scene from the end and say wow, this was really bloody well executed, there's such a difference and it makes sense as to why. We could've had episodes about the Purge of Mandalore and what that did to Sabine. Episodes about how she and Ahsoka started training and how they fell out. Episodes about what Ahsoka's been doing between then and now. Episodes about what Ezra and Thrawn were up to, like how Thrawn came into an alliance with the witches and how Ezra's been evading him over the years. Episodes about Baylan and Shin so we could understand what either of them really wants or feels because I'm still not sure I do. Maybe something about Hera and Sabine's relationship because they feel kind of weird to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the show we got, I think it's very good and it does most of my favorite characters justice, but I also think it probably could have been even better if it had been a longer show and had room to really explore its subject matter in greater detail, from multiple different angles.

I will continue to develop the “Eleventh Fleet”. My drawings haven’t received such a response for a long time - it’s very motivating. Also noticed that your really liked Thrawn's design during his exile in Peridea. Well… I have an "attempt" to make concept art of a landscape of a distant planet. I wanted to make the Purgills' final refuge more… dead? ashen? atmospheric? Yes, that's probably exactly it.

According to the latest Star Wars Chronology, the years 9 ABY to 19 ABY are called the “Peace of the New Republic.”

It is likely that the Ahsoka series and its sequels and crossovers all take place in this time period, which means

1. Lucasfilm will have to retcon this chronology because Thrawn starts another galactic war.

or

2. Thrawn finds out that the Emperor he once served is dead and the Empire has fallen, so he goes home to the Chiss Ascendancy in the Unknown Regions.

and/or

3. The Nightmothers were just using Thrawn to get to Dathomir, just as Thrawn was using them to get back home to the main SW galaxy. Now that the witches have achieved their goal, they will betray Thrawn and/or he will betray them.

and/or

4. There will be an effort by the heroes of The Mandalorian, the Ahsoka show, and other members of the Ghost Crew to stop a war. There will be an armed conflict with little or no help from the New Republic, and the brave unsung heroes save the galaxy from a bigger war that could have happened but didn’t.

Likely character deaths or transformations: Thrawn. Ahsoka.

Possible romance arcs completed: DinBo, Sabezra.

Cultures reborn/transformed: Nightsisters, Mandalorians, Jedi.

New Master and Apprentice pairings: Sabine and Grogu, Ezra and Jacen.

These are the “Jedi Mandalorians.” (Yes, I have been thinking about this for a very long time. Look at my username.)

Mando by birth: Sabine Wren, who restores her Clan.

Mando by adoption: Grogu.

Mando by marriage: Ezra Bridger. 😏

Introducing the OC

First off, this is not the OC that I had originally planned for my Star Wars Prequel AU. Well, to be more precise, she branched off from her due to some changes I was making.

Without further ado, let me introduce you to Kalara.

Kalara was born on Dathomir in 40 BBY to Varya, a member of the Singing Mountain Clan. Her story starts about midway through Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Her mother was killed in battle by a Nightsister. Varya's dying act was to Force push her daughter onto a ship departing the planet. The ship lands on Tatooine. Kalara will meet Qui-Gon and Anakin as they leave Mos Espa.

I was inspired to create a Star Wars OC because I'm so intrigued by the amazing OCs of @shrinkthisviolet @thechaoticfanartist @avatarskywalker78 and @arrthurpendragon.

The nightsisters, in their infinite wisdom, have encased me in stone and magick, with the caveat that they will release me when I tell them my of my vision of Allya. I have been disallowed from inspecting the contents of my cache.

I am typing with the force. It is not as hard as one might expect, just... fiddly.

What they do not know is that I have been experimenting to figure out the finer points of mistwalking, as sisters do. When all is quiet tonight, I will simply leave this place, my due in hand.
