Have you heard Unsubstantial yet?? It's this song about Scara and thinking about the first two chapters of Darling Starling with that song playing in the background is honestly such a vibe

Oh also, it's okay to get tired of something, but don't EVER say that you aren't proud of Marigold Promises when it was so good. Feel free to take breaks, or just don't continue it if you don't feel like it. If you force yourself to finish it, you may not feel so proud of it later. But everything you've written so far was gold. I can bet 90% of us reading it kicked our feet, giggled, twirled our hair, blushed and replayed the scenarios when we got bored in class.

(I am still due my 2k word long essay about the last few chapters, because I've barely had any time with 2-3 exams a week every week because this ain't no school, I accidently joined a testing centre pls send help. I hope you won't mind it if I sent you that even if you decide to not continue it, because I'm so close to my holidays haha)

and ahhh marigold promises will always be special to me in a way, but there's no easy way of saying i've grown tired of it. i'll figure out what to do with it some day 🤷 but for now there's not gonna be any updates any time soon

it's good to hear that people enjoyed it though ^^ i have been thinking of making another smau for albedo if i ever decide to put marigold promises on a more permanent hiatus. we'll see though
