right. i think you guys deserve an update

with the start of the second semester, i've decided make a decision. i knew biology was gonna be hard—that goes for any major, really—but i wasn't happy. so i decided to switch majors.

starting next academic year, if i manage to shift successfully, i'll be pursuing creative writing instead of biology.

because of the shifting process that my university has, i was basically advised to take general electives to raise my GPA and get a better chance of getting accepted. this does mean i'll have to take more classes this semester, but i was willing to take that chance.

i try my best to update once a week but this change likely means i'll have to slow down, at least until i can get a secure footing in my new schedule. this will likely mean no updates until i get used to my new workload.

don't worry, this isn't the end of darling starling, but i just have to dedicate a lot of my time to make sure i get the best grades i can.

tl;dr, i'm switching majors. will be busy so no updates until i get used to my new schedule.
