I feel like Twilight Princess Ganondorf is SO UNDERRATED like that’s when my obsession started but everyone only talks about OoT Ganondorf 😭😭😭😭

The difference between Reincarnation and Revival
Apparently people think the English translation for the scene in which Dark Beast Ganon appears was mistranslated
English
"He has given up on reincarnation and assumed his pure enraged form"
Japanese
"This form was born from his obsessive refusal to give up on revival"
People say that these statements have opposite meanings, but in reality, they do not.
Reincarnation is dying and being reborn as a new life. Starting from zero as a baby.
Ganondorf/Ganon has died in all 3 timelines.
He has reincarnated in just one timeline, showing up in Four Swords Adventure. At the end of that game, he is sealed away inside the four sword.
Revival is to be revived as you were before death/defeat. Not being reborn anew, but rather picking up where you left off. Ganondorf's sudden appearance at the end of TP was a revival. His escape from the sealed Hyrule in Wind Waker was a revival. What he was attempting to do in Breath of the wild, crafting himself a fancy new horror body, was a revival. What he is going to achieve in Tears of the Kingdom, is a revival. He is refusing to reincarnate and focusing entirely on revival. Coming back at full power rather than having to build that power back up over a new lifetime.
So. The two statements "He has given up on reincarnation" and "His obsessive refusal to give up on revival" are in actuality, two different ways of saying the same thing, and not contradictory statements.

Total missed opportunity for botw/totk
During the final fight with ganon, there are two competing themes: ganon’s boss theme and a theme we’re going to call the hero’s triumph (which is the main theme and acts as link’s theme)
As the fight progresses and you do more damage to ganon, the hero’s triumph gets progressively louder and louder until the point where you reach the dark beast/demon dragon stage. At this point, ganon’s theme is completely gone, having been replaced by the hero’s triumph.
The song has reached a crescendo and it’s as though the kingdom of hyrule itself is cheering you on as you deal those final blows to ganon.
This is what I mean by hero’s triumph

Gorgeous piece by @rainbow.sparkle.grahams on Insta! This is from Archery Lessons, Chapter 10! Princess Zelda seals Ganon away, not knowing they will both be prisoners for a century, leading into the events of "Twisted Timeline Tale of Breath of the Wild." Stay tuned for more fan art coming soon to part 3 of my "Fire of a Thousand Suns" series!
Check out Archery Lessons on AO3 here! Rated E.

Lunchtime scrapples~
Don’t think I forgot about Emperor Hamhock, I know I need to learn to draw him. Figuring out the two most influential (for me) designs, nevermind the raging fart gas of BotW. Might consider the others. Later.
I don’t have to worry about clothes for TP Ganon…but OoT Ganon dual wields. And I can modify him just enough… well I wanna fix his locs if nothing else. Shit looked like he combs with a rock. I could do better than that with arthritis lol (I don’t have it… yet). Maybe even a marriage of the two designs someday…
Dead OC-banana for scale.
“Ah shit I fell on this thing and it died. Angry naptime.”
