John "Jacky" Parke Custis

John "Jacky" Parke Custis was born on November 27, 1754 in White House Plantation, New Kent County, Virginia, British America. His parents were Daniel Parke Custis [1711-1757] and Martha Dandridge [1731-1802]. George Washington [1732-1799] was his step-father. He had three [3] siblings: Daniel Parke Custis Jr. [1751-1754], Frances Parke Custis [1753-1757] and Martha "Patsy" Parke Custis [1756-1773].

In 1774 Jacky married Eleanor Calvert [1757/1758-1811]. Together they had seven [7] children: Unnamed daughter [1775-1775], Elizabeth "Eliza" Parke Custis Law [1776-1831], Martha "Patsy" Parke Custis Peter [1777-1854], Eleanor "Nelly" Parke Custis Lewis [1779- 1852], Unnamed twin daughters [1780-1780] and George Washington "Wash" Parke Custis [1781-1857].

Jacky died on November 05, 1781 in Eltham Plantation, New Kent County, Virginia, U.S.. The cause of death was "camp fever" (either epidemic typhus or dysentery). He was laid to rest at his family's plot near Queen's Creek in York County, near Williamsburg, Virginia.

Martha Washington

Martha Washington (née Dandridge) was born on June 02, 1731 in Chestnut Grove, Virginia, British America. Het parents were John Dandridge Jr. [1700-1756] and Frances Orlando Jones [1710-1785]. She had seven [7] siblings: John Dandridge III [1733-1749], William Dandridge III [1734-1776], Bartholomew Dandridge II [1737-1785], Anna Marie "Fanny" Dandridge Bassett [1739-1777], Frances Dandridge [1744-1757], Elizabeth Dandridge Aylett Henley [1749-1800] and Mary Dandridge [1752-1777].

In 1750 she married Daniel Parke Custis [1711-1757]. Together they had four [4] children: Daniel Parke Custis Jr. [1751-1754], Frances Parke Custis [1753-1757], John Parke "Jacky" Custis [1754-1781] and Martha Parke "Patsy" Custis [1756-1773]. After her husband's death, she married George Washington [1732-1799] in 1759. They had no children together.

Martha Washington was the First Lady of the United States [April 30, 1789 - March 04, 1797].

She died on May 22, 1802 (aged 70) in Mount Vernon, Virginia, U.S.. She was laid to rest at Mount Vernon, Virginia, U.S. 38°42'28.4"N 77°05'09.9"W.
