Star Wars celebrity au

Prequel generation: 1950’s

Anakin. Born in Hooverville to a former vaudeville actress in the mid 1930’s. Never knew his biological father. But gained a stepfather and stepbrother in Obi Wan when Shmi married Qui Gon Jinn, a wealthy filmmaker. Originally contracted to his stepdads Jedi Studios but got snatched up by mob owned Sith Pictures. They got him addicted to booze and drugs to cope with the gruelling schedule eventually leading him to fatally injuring his pregnant wife in a car crash at the tail end of the 1950’s. Thought dead by everyone, he was kept in a safe house by his new agent, bruised, bloodied and broken, he lived in shame at what he did, all the while trying to muster up the energy to escape

Padme. Successful musical actress. Known for the “spirited young lady” archetype. Contracted to Jedi Studios. Met Anakin at a chemistry reading before he got recruited by Sith Pictures. They carried on their romance and eventually got married in Las Vegas. Sadly though, when she was eight and a half months pregnant, Anakin drove off the road and into an oil tankard. They were taken to different hospitals. Her twins were delivered under emergency caesarian. Unfortunately she succumbed to her injuries and died a week later

Obi Wan. Anakin’s stepbrother. Older by about ten years. Jazz musician at the popular Cantina Club. Close friend of Padme. Commissioned a lot of scores for Jedi Studios. Repeatedly tried and repeatedly failed to get Anakin out of the ironclad Sith Pictures contract. Was there when the twins were delivered. He made sure they were adopted into good families and went off the grid near Orange County where Luke is raised.

Qui Gon. Director who moonlighted as a talent agent. All of Anakin’s early successes were made possible because of him. Adopted Anakin a few weeks after he married Shmi. Unfortunately he died in the last few weeks of World War Two. His plane went down behind enemy lines and his body was never found. The last movie Obi and Anakin made together was dedicated to him.

Original trilogy generation: 1980’s

Luke. Farm boy. Raised in Orange County. Dreamed of being an actor. Had a celebrity crush on Leia when he was growing up which obviously stopped when they met and found out they were twins. Get a spot at a very run down acting school run by a very prickly and obstinate acting coach. Later realises that his talent lean more in stunt work than outright acting. Becomes a talent manager after his hand is cut off by his father in an accident. Died stopping his psychotic nephew

Leia. Down to earth perfectionist actress. Mostly Tudor centred period dramas as Anne of Cleaves. Although she did win many awards for a celebrated turn as Reagan in a gothic horror version of King Lear. Clear cut case of uptight loves wild when she fell for a roughshod insult comic. Indirectly killed by her psychotic estranged son.

Han. Controversial insult comic. Pokes fun at the rich and famous despite also being rich and famous. Needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut. Owes money to a lot of supper clubs. Became a talent scout later in life. Discovered Rey, Finn and Poe. Just like his wife, he was killed by their psychotic estranged son

Lando. Triple threat. Singer. Boxer. Actor. Mostly known for the second rather than the first or third though. Conman on the side during lulls in offers. Best friend of Han and most often his only defender. The only on out of him, Han, Leia and Luke to survive Ben Solo’s massacre.

Sequel generation: 2010’s

Rey. Orphan. Grew up on the streets of Los Angeles. Discovered by Han as she was busking. Her speciality is stand up comedy. But she’s also a superb actor and stuntwoman. Informally adopted by Han and Leia. Stalked repeatedly by their deranged and psychotic son. Enters a relationship with Finn and Poe later on.

Finn. Orphan. Worked his way up. But ended up contracted to New Sith Productions. Broke contract when he saw the studio head murder a moonlighter. Met Poe during his escape. And Rey soon after. Injured by Han and Leia’s psychotic son in the process of protecting Rey. Gets better. Turns out to have a gift for stand up comedy. Enters a relationship with Poe and Rey later on.

Poe. Stunt driver. Whistleblower. Massive charmer. Hell bent on dismantling New Sith Productions. Has an adorable Pomeranian called BB8. Leia was his acting teacher. Takes it incredibly personally when she’s killed by her own son. Starts his own production company. Enters a relationship with Rey and Finn later on.

Ren. Washed up never been Z list bit actor. Awful. Just. Awful. Takes the entirely wrong message from Anakin’s story and tries to be New Sith Productions leading man. Obsessively stalked Rey. The main reason both his parents and his uncle died. Killed by his own stupidity. He remains completely unclaimed and unmourned.

To be honest, this was not something I thought I was not gonna like, because I am usually a Jedistormpilot shipper, but not really a Damerey, and also I am not too keen on sugar baby, or Dom/sub dynamics. But after reading this I think I found out something about myself, this is lovely, and very smutty. It's sexy and cute, it's very well written and even if it takes the characters away from their normal setting and still they are recognizable as themselves. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly is mine.

Poe notices it immediately. "Rey, you look very flushed, are you alright?" He asks as he walks to her and places a gentle hand on her forehead, then hisses. "You're burning up. Off to the medcenter with you."

"No, Poe. I'm alright..."

But Poe is having none of it, as he all but pushes her to see the medic. "Absolutely not. You need to see the medic and will be following her instructions, and I'll make sure that you do, even if that means having to sit next to you in bed as you rest."

Rey's indignant squack dies when the medic ushers them in. "What seems to be the problem?" She asks.

"Rey might have a fever," Poe replies before Rey has a chance to deny everything. "She is sick."

Rey's glare is met with a stubborn and defiant one.

The medic takes her temp and declares that she has two degrees above normal. "You need rest, Rey." She declares as she gives her the medicine she will have to take. Then turns to Poe, "Make sure she actually rest. Lot's of food and water."

"Yes, ma'am."

Once more, Poe leads Rey to their room. "Get in bed, and take your meds. I'll be back as soon as I let Finn know that you're out of commission and that I will be here."

Rey groans, "You don't have to do this. I'll be fine."

It is Poe's turn to glare. "Absolutely not. I know you, Rey. And you will not listen to the medic, which is why I'm working here." Poe softens a bit, "You need to rest, love. I worry for you. And you know that you're not alone anymore, right? That you can share your burdens with me and that I will take care of you in time of need, right?"

Rey swallows. "I know." She admits. "But I spent so much time looking after myself, I'm unused to someone taking care of me."

"Well, no more. Now, meds and then bed. I'll be right back. I love you."

"I love you too."

And Rey knows this is a command that she will not regret obeying.

ooohhh mannn This fic started from this ficlet YEARS ago and it's just ballooned into an absolute monster. I've got 30k words and feel like it's barely even started 😂 It's post-TLJ, ignoring ROS, the Resistance is on the run and Rey gets feelings from the Force of a planet where they'll be safe and hidden. They find a huge base completely abandoned on a peculiar planet at the edge of the Unknown Regions. Rey finds a Force ghost haunts this planet who was once a great Jedi and leader of the colony that used to reside in the abandoned base. But it's all a little strange and scary because this Jedi isn't exactly whole and Leia isn't really keen on the idea of Rey learning about the Force from this old, dead, very emotional for a Jedi, spirit.

Rey... struggles? I guess? Against the spirit. As Leia tells her, this spirit comes from a time where Jedi were plentiful and they were trained from childhood in the Force. Any spirit that has hung around for four thousand years, must be incredibly powerful. But Rey is stubborn and needs to learn about the Force, about how to be a Jedi, how to defeat Kylo Ren. And who helps her? Keeps her steady when this strange power threatens to overwhelm her? Poe, of course! 😍

Anyway, the planet is Odessen and the people that used to live in the base were an Alliance of many different cultures from across the galaxy during a time known as "The Old Republic" and it was led, reluctantly, but a Twi'lek Jedi named Jasati. It's a HUGE fic where Rey goes on this GINORMOUS journey across the galaxy, across the Force, across time, and one day I hope I will finish it. 🤣

i saw the ask about tog a/b/o and I gotta ask, what are your headcanons (if you've thought about it) slash how would you write an a/b/o damerey(/finnpoerey) story??

Apparently I have not, I was thinking of @dracosollicitus' excellent one. LOL

I mean, here's the thing: by and large, M/F A/B/O doesn't interest me, because for me, the interesting part of A/B/O is taking a Blorbo (who are, generally speaking, white cishet men AKA the epitome of privilege) and subjecting him to misogyny, basically. When there's already a man and a woman in the pairing, I feel like the ~point~ of A/B/O is already kind of missing. Like, it's just a soulmate AU at that point, and I don't really like most soulmate AUs. Unless you're really going hard on the social commentary of misogyny wrt your A/B/O, the like... interesting part of it is kind of missing, for me.

So I don't really know what I would do with a Poe/Rey or Poe/Rey/Finn A/B/O that would make it like... NEED to be an A/B/O fic as opposed to a straight-up soulmate AU. Hmmmm.

Thought I’ll just post some vidding plans, keep in mind nothing is set in stone, those are just things I hopefully have time to do.

Things that are most likely to come:

solo Ominis Gaunt vid (I'm stuck on how to do it without it sucking tho 😩 because there's no way I’m doing it without my fancast, but there's only so much you can do with a solo vid for a blind character with a non-blind fancast)

What Happened in the Woods (Fae AU) - “Okay,” Rey said, as the cab pulled up in front of her. She had just been on one of the worst dates she’d ever gone on and now the only thing holding her back was his grip on the cab door.

Time Heist (MCU AU) - Poe could hear the stress his armor was under as he wrestled with Kylo Ren. Jumping back into the air, the thrusters under Poe’s feet held him aloft above the dour man’s head.

A Clan of Three (Rey was raised by Din Djarin AU) - Rey wasn’t sure how long it would be before she met her contact on Jakku. Her father had not been so forth coming with the details but she still trusted him. Though not related to him by blood, Din Djarin was the only father Rey had ever known. He had adopted her when she was five and had brought her up in the ways of Mandalore. She trusted him with her life.

Painted History (Reincarnation/Soulmate AU) - Rey laughed at Finn, who was making weird comments about the paintings in front of them. “Why paint one boring old haystack,” Finn said, waving his arms around dramatically. “When you could paint fifteen of the same haystack.” “There are actually twenty-five haystacks,” Rose said, pointing to a plaque under the painting.

Damerey Drabbles Part 2 (Collection of Drabbles) - Poe walked into their apartment to see a tornado in their kitchen. Why is there flour on the ceiling?

Over the Years (Poe’s POV of Painted History) - Poe walked up the steps of the Art Institute of Chicago, past the enormous green lions outside. He’d come here almost every night since the painting had been moved. He laughed quietly as he remembered the day he’d sold his first painting; a portrait of Raisa sitting in their little garden, surrounded by the purple and white irises she loved to tend to so much. It had been almost two years after he’d met Raisa in a market in Marseilles, and about a month into their marriage, when he’d sold the painting. That painting was still in his apartment, hanging on the wall in his office. He’d bought it back from the collector years ago. There were others still out there, four to be exact, all residing in various art museums around the world.

The Art of Matchmaking (Hitch AU) - Poe smiled as he walked down the streets of downtown Coruscant to the apartment of his most recent client. His job was an odd one, a bit outdated if you asked some, a bit controversial if you asked others. His job was to help men find their perfect match. Or well every man other than himself. Poe had had one too many bad relationships in the past for him to really truly feel that he was going to find “the one” for him. He was having enough fun without being tied to someone, no matter what his father thought.

Part of Your World (The Little Mermaid AU) - Rey darted between the high reeds. She knew she shouldn't be near the shipwrecks but she couldn't help it. She found things there, some useful things that she could save or trade. She didn't have much, well, not much that was hers, anyways.

A Penny for Your Thoughts? (Soulmate Tattoos AU) - Rey darted through the crowded street. Why did Finn say he wanted to go to a bar next to the stadium? she cursed in her head as she dodged around a group of drunken men who were attempting to dance on the hood of a parked car. Heathens. The game hasn’t even started yet.

Ocean’s Five (Ocean’s Eight AU) - Rey Ocean walked out of the gates of the courthouse and onto the streets of Washington DC, breathing fresh free air for the first time in five years. Taking one minute to stare out in front of her, smiling at the bus approaching from the distance. It was one quick trip as far as she could get on the money she had to Chicago.

Poe takes his eyes of the man who is practically undressing Rey with his eyes, "Mmk, be glad that I'm just glaring. I'd love to punch him on the face, can I?"

"No, Poe, you can't."

"How about I rearrange his nose a bit?"

Rey has to bite down a laugh, "Nope, that won't fly either; let's just finish our food and let's go home, okay?"

"Fine."
