it's not even the physical gross stuff that gets him because he watches gorey stuff all the time! no sweat! but he gets so overwhelmed like "oh my God it's such a big day and it's a new human being coming out of a human being and is his even gonna be a good uncle/dad" and he's just... thunk. to the floor. and somebody's gonna grab the smelling salts to get him up

yeah absolutely. I think if it was your and his kid that you were birthing, he’d be a really present partner through the whole birth- letting you squeeze his hand until he’s got the indents of your nails everywhere, murmuring encouragements in your ear pulling your focus from all the doctors and nurses to him instead.

and then after, you’re crying over a writhing, wet lil babe in your arms and Eddie touches her cheek all softly and just whispers, “wow. you did it 🥹.”

and then, as all that adrenaline leaves, his vision starts to tunnel and he just sorta… sinks to the floor. like whooooo boy. just gonna chill out here for a sec. actually maybe flat on my back ✌️juuust for a minute.

A little about taiyang and his father:

Tai's and his father were really close he was an adventurer and a lot of the reason why he's so determined and passionate to become one himself ,he told tai a lotta stories about it when he was younger than he is now (he stopped traveling for a while cause he got married and had tai),but stared up doing again mostly for work they weren’t very long trips anymore so he was home before taiyang knew it along with a few gifts his father would always bring back to him that he thought tai would like if he could find any,his father was the one who gave him the little necklace with starsilver that hangs around his neck.

One day his father had promised him when he was older that he would go on a big adventure/trip together think of it as a coming of age thing, sadly this would not be something that would come to happen due to his father passing away from an injury he sustained on one of his trips,

so that left tai with only anhe (for a time before they had met farrow or ren) This however didnt stop taiyang from still wanting to travel & adventure but hes still not ready/prepared to do so maybe with supervision of course but even then he still yearns to see the whole world.

When he gets older tai still plans to take that journey they had planned to do together,his father may not be there in body but he is in spirit so he wants to achieve his dream - and he has even more people supporting him to get to it now.
