i know riz saying "i have a conspiracy board going at fabian's house now" was probably implying that riz set it up just then during the party but the way he says it (read: the way my mentally ill brain interpreted it) makes it sound like he's over at fabian's house so often that he's set up a backup conspiracy board there like one would leave an extra toothbrush in their best friend's bathroom for sleepovers

does anyone remember who in the bad kids told the others about what they saw in the nightmare forest? i think fabian did and i'm almost certain riz didn't but they keep (accidentally?) triggering each others' forest traumas and it seems like A Thing.

fabian flirted with a mirror right next to riz and everyone teased him about kalina being his girlfriend, riz suggested gorgug answer the riddle for all of them under threat of being killed and eaten by a big animal, fig created a sexy rat for when fabian was talking to spot. is this anything.

Something about how Kristen still hasn’t truly processed all her Helio being the chosen one stuff. Something about how Cassandra literally looks exactly how Kristen looked when she was with Helio. Something about how Buddy Dawn is exactly who she would’ve become if she hadn’t died and met Helio down to his mini having to exact same pose as freshman year her. Something about how she couldn’t even find comfort in Yes! or Yes? because they were just puppets of Sol to try and get her back. Something about how she did everything right and still got expelled because she left Helio. Something about how the only reason Ankarna fell as far as we know is Sol was greedy and didn’t want to share a domain. Something about how even though it’s been reshaped and regifted and refined her staff is still the same as when she fought for Sol. Something about how Kristen was the one to bring back the sun after 4 months of night. Doesn’t that feel special at all.

watching brennan make the intrepid heroes feel the most bittersweet emotions when riz is with his dad in “my green heaven” is so funny

bc literally everything brennan says is so beautiful and sad and they simply cannot deal

lou’s “oh, shut up” and ally’s “goddammit brennan” when brennan reveals that pok hangs out at his grave in heaven so he can listen when riz visits to talk to him… they are both me in that moment

this makes me fucking ill. i feel fucking insane. like i feel like we don't talk about this nearly as much as we should. god.

i love when riz acts like a cat. his tail going between his legs when hes sad. clawing at things around him. sneaking around in the shadows. hissing or growling at people. getting territorial over his friends (esp fabian). eating trash. his ears displaying his emotions. being super perceptive and curious, to a fault. his sharp teeth and sharper gaze.

and the fact kalina is a cat only makes it better. like he grew up without her in his life and he still acts like she does. hes just as much like her as he is like his father and mother. she will always be a part of him.
