i saw someone say this before and i cannot remember who but it has been revolving through my head recently so i need to talk about it
kristen is advocating for cassandra in the completely wrong way. she keeps saying that cassandra is the god of doubt and mystery which isn’t necessarily something people want to worship
when in reality cassandra is the god of finding comfort in doubt and mystery, she is the god of finding calm in the unknowing of the night, she is like believing in the fact that there is light at the end of the tunnel and even though it may be dark and scary right now and you’re not sure of what that light is ahead, there is comfort it the doubt and there is hope
im not sure if this makes any sense but i hope you get my point

i simply NEED for buddy dawn to come back having met helio and seen that kristen was right about him.
thinking a lot about ylfa snorgelsson’s “i met death and death wanted me to live”
vs kristen applebees’ “why is there so much suffering in the world?” being met with “catch ya later” from helio.
helio doesn’t give a fuck who lives or dies, not even his chosen one. why would he give a fuck about buddy?
i can’t help but pity him. and i can’t help but want the best for him once he returns.

Hot take: if they had been even a little bit more involved in s1, the Thistlesprings would have been good people to take in Kristen!
They're open in a way that directly contradicts everything her parents were against, including about sex and such! She would have actually had adults in the home that she would be able to talk to about it! Also, they're really dedicated and I think would so a better job of checking up with her! Not that Jawbone and Sandra Lynn are doing a bad job, they're just super outnumbered as things are! The Thistlesprings are less busy! Plus I think it's be cute for her and Gorgug to get more screen time together (especially when you consider that he's the first person she talked to in Freshman year idk I think that's nice).
To add to the bit of it all, it would make Kristen and Gorgug siblings to further cement the whole they're-slowly-becoming-one-big-family thing

HEY GIRLIE
When this moment happened at the end of the Frosty Faire Folk Festival, I knew I wanted to give it the religious iconography treatment it deserved. Inspired by ‘The Annunciation’ by Luca Giordano (though I was pretty sure the vulture wasn’t about to tell Kristen she was going to give birth to the savior.)
