Kahun goes to Xur, and Xur expects him to be looking for exotics like every other Guardian.

"No, actually," says Kahun. "I came here to ask if you wanted to go on a date!"

Xur is surprised, delighted, everything, and he just looks at the Cabal with awe and confusion. "Me? Are you sure you have the right person?" he asks.

"Absolutely!" Kahun replies.

"I would be grateful for that, my friend."

"Then a date it is, my love!" Kahun smiles warmly beneath the rebreather. "Meet me at Laz's restaurant at eight tonight. I'll be waiting."

A restaurant run by a Jovian Guardian. Another Jovian, just like Xur. There aren't many of them, so it's nice for the lonely seller to see one, and he knows Kahun is doing that specifically for his benefit.

Upon arrival, Lazarus is there to greet them, seeing as he and Kahun are good friends. Taking the two men to a romantic booth, Kahun is dressed in an oversized suit and tie that his father tailored for him specifically. Kahun smiles, and takes off the rebreather, choking for a moment on the stale air.

Xur reaches for Kahun, worriedly.

"I'll be fine," the Cabal says. "It's just to make things easier, but I can survive without it," he promises. And he, and Xur, order their meals.

Together, they eat, then at the end, Kahun smiles again. "I've got something for you," he tells the Jovian.

"Oh? You did not have to, Kahun."

"Yeah, I did. For you." And Kahun pulls out an exotic engram, and hands it over to Xur. "Keep it. Take it to the cryptarch in the tower, and let him decipher it. You're always giving out exotic engrams, so now it's time someone give you one in return!"

Xur smiles through the tentacle mass, and reaches across the table. Grabbing Kahun, he pulls the Cabal inward, and kisses him happily.

Kahun kisses him back, smile never fading. When done, he sits back, and places the rebreather back on his face. "Thanks, hon."

"Thank you, my dear."

"Wanna go on another date?"

"Absolutely."

And Lazarus comes out, with no check. Says it's on the house, for a good friend.

Both men leave that night happily, with full stomachs, and it's a wonderful date. Their second one is bound to be even more so!

Took several days away from D2 to play other stuff and only popped back on before reset for Xur, but honestly I think that was a great idea.

Having a lot more fun doing bounties and farming Catalyst kills and stuff.

Definitely gonna pull back some for the rest of the season as well instead of going so hard in as last one.
