how i perceive ccharlies monologue is basically. he loves cquackity still, but he’s mad at him. he was well aware of the things he’d done in the past and had not understood them before, but now actually had a grasp on the fact that he’d hurt and manipulate people. but despite being mad at cquackity and having a good portion of his view on him being flipped, ccharlie could never ever hate him. he’s been watching him for who knows how long, he’s seen everything that’s happened to him and how he’s coped with it - mostly by revenge, he’s seen what he really wants, which is power but only because he craves basic respect and the only way to get that in the dream smp is by having authority. ccharlies always seen these things, he’s been with cquackity through it all, but only now has he actually had morals and therefore the ability to form an opinion on all this. and even though he’s mad, above everytjing he still wants to help cquackity and give him what he needs to grow. cquackitys done so much for him, and ccharlie has adored him even before everything, and that’s exactly why ccharlie did what he did in the finale.

this is the only explanation for purpled thinking what he thought. I'm sure of it. that fucking alien is HOMOPHOBIC and cannot tell romantic intent if it looked his stupid radioactive purple ass in the face.

headcanon that it turns out ccharlie is actually amazing at comforting because he’s spent so much time watching others help eachother so he naturally comnects the dots when someone is crying or something to do what hes seen is the most effective thing. so when cquackity eventually breaks down in front of ccharlie he realizes hes calmed him down easier than anybody else ever did
