The whole reveal scene is still fresh in my mind and it’s stuck playing on repeat in my head! @naffeclipse you, you aaAAAA!!! I LOVE YOU AND YOUR WRITING!!!!!

Some thoughts I wanna include:

The moment when Eclipse turns to face their little hunter after defeating Shoh. Their body calms down from the fight only to immediately have their mind and emotions start racing as they see their dear friend’s petrified state.

The boys’ perspective in this scene wasn’t explored very much, but I can imagine they’re going through it just as much as Y/N is. The relief of having Shoh dead, their heart is safe.. but will they be able to convince their terrified and confused heart that they’re not a threat?

The battle might be over, but now starts the part that could hurt the most and leave a scar so deep that nothing could ever truly heal it.

I read the newest chapter of Cryptid Sightings, and @naffeclipse I SWEAR ON MY LIFE. The minute I read them say those lines I thought of that scene with the rake but IT FELT DIFFERENT. IT DUNKED MY BRAIN IN THE INSPIRATION POOL so I drew the thing

Finished reading Cryptids a few days ago, Love this creature. Thought I'd try to design him but man its way too detailed I'm gonna cry. I'll prob simplify the design/change it if I draw him again. He's so silly and goopy <33

I’ve had a ridiculous workload for the past few weeks, but that hasn’t stopped me from reading chapter 16!!

@naffeclipse I want you to know how much I was wailing at this one. Just how quickly the hunter went from referring to them as their “dear friend” to “the demonic cryptid.” And the little moments when they finally began to realize that cryptid isn’t entirely dissimilar from the person they’ve gotten so close with… absolutely phenomenal!!

I’d say I’m at the edge of my seat after this, but I fell off that seat way back in episode four. Regardless, I cant fully articulate just how excited I am to see how things play out!!!

@naffeclipse hey, I just wanted to let you know that your fic Cryptid Sightings is so so cool and I am going utterly bonkers over it 👉👈 I started reading it when it had 3 chapters, then by the time there were 11, I took a break from DCA fics. One of the things I was THE most hyped about when coming back was reading what I had missed of CS, so I've been doing that for the past couple days. When I'm not reading it, I'm just daydreaming about it, it's so lovely and I am constantly impressed by your incredible writing skills. Your writing is genuinely... jaw-dropping, I love it. Anyway, I also wrote a little song of chapter 16 at 3am because I had just gotten up to date and was going "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my ogd this fic is amazing, I need to go Cryptid Sightings mode"
