i finished my socks!! 🌈🧦🌈
not bad for a 1st attempt. ☺️ fit's off in a few spots & there's little to no elasticity, but they're warm & fuzzy & so fucking pretty. 😍😍😍

So, a link from the Friday's Livestream - in talking about sock sizing, I talked about a very interesting sock sizing survey over on the Knitty Magazine Blog.
This shows an interesting quirk that for the average human, their ankle circumference is very similar to their foot circumference - which means, that for sock knitting (and crochet socks, too!), you can (generally) use the same number of stitches for the leg as for the foot!

Crocheted my first pair of socks 🤪
I didn’t use a pattern, but they fit and they’re wearable, lol. These were actually super fun to make, and they built up super fast. Overall, I’m pretty proud of how they turned out, considering it’s my first pair. I’ll be working on another pair to see if I can tweak the process a bit and get them to look and fit even better.

Both socks completed. It’s a miracle 😁. Free handed them and didn’t write down what I was doing so one is slightly different to the other but they are still awesome! Maybe I should do a tutorial? Love them. Love the style. Love the colour. #crochetsocks #häkelsocken #hobbiiyarn #hobbiimanaya

The Sock A Long for 23 is two new pairs of socks. One for knitters and the other for crocheters. For me, I am going to work along with the Yarnspirations Designer to make a pair.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to knit a pair of socks, so I figured, Yarnspirations is going to teach it; I’m going to play long as a new knitter to see how it can be done. I…
