unfortunately, fairly. in a lot of different arenas. some of it pandemic related, some of it life related. but as i always say when interviewed about my greatest weakness, i’m working on it ;)

oooo thanks for this one! I think that the idea of soulmates can exist, but I believe it can also coexist with the idea that being in a relationship is about putting in work -- for example, someone can be your absolute everything and your soulmate, but that doesn’t necessarily mean your relationship will be automatically smooth sailing. You’re both still going to need to put in the work.

4. What do you enjoy about making graphics / gifs?

its just really satisfying for me to like come up with an idea like a lyric parallel or something with coloring and then being actually to make it and have it come out how i planned!

my favorite within the past has to be my lover netflix edit! it took me a super long time to do and i think it came out even better than the original netflix inspired edit i made but it didnt do as well bc folklore was announced literally the next day😭 but my timing on a lover era retrospective was impeccable

BRUHHH WHAT ARE YOUR EVERMORE THOTS I WANNA HEARRRR

i had a good little cry last night listening to this album for the first time because some of the songs really hit me hard, but — i think that’s a testament to how good it really is. there isn’t a bad song on here, and i’m really loving the freedom and creative energy that taylor is seeming to feel with all of this; she’s got some great collaborators who are pulling some of her best work out of her, between folklore and now this. i love how these two albums have given her freedom to be a little more experimental with her sound, too, while also going back to her roots a little (LOVING the country roots on no body, no crime, specifically the angry woman revenge crime subgenre of country music she’s never quite touched on before), and still being distinctly taylor swift.

and it’s, like, creative energy i’m also feeling inspired by? i hadn’t really touched my piano that much in a while before folklore dropped, and now i’ve been learning a lot of new music because of some of this music; it’s been really nice to get back into the old music hobby that i’d neglected for a while. not to mention all the writing i’ll run with from these songs.

also, speaking of folklore, i wouldn’t really stack one of these albums as better than the other or anything like; i kind of see them as two halves of the same whole, variations on the same theme. i’ve long tried to convince people that taylor swift is an incredibly talented songwriter, in a different league than most of her peers on that front, honestly, and i think people who haven’t been able to see it before will really see it in this era.

so, yes. i loved evermore, and i’m sure i’ll be playing it on rotation for months and learning half the album or more on the piano like i’ve been doing with folklore, lmao
