Good morning!  I hope you slept well and feel rested?  Currently sitting in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.

Welcome to the working week although, for those of you working in the NHS, welcome to just another day.

Running a bit late this morning.  Feeling a bit groggy.  Eyes haven’t focused yet.  Got into bed after 2.00.  Only just woken up!  What an amazing Sunday!

Had a really chilled Saturday because I knew Sunday was going to be busy!  As predicted, hot pizza and live football. 

Like a dutiful husband, I was in Sainsbury’s in Sunday morning and attempted to buy a week’s groceries but your money doesn’t go very far these days.  This week, I’m going to make sure everything in the fridge gets cooked and eaten!  Can’t be doing all those take aways! 

We got to The White Lion around 5.00 and there was already a nice vibe.  So nice to see The Exquisite @yvonnemills, who I haven’t seen in yonks!  She was there with a clutch of gorgeous mates, I was there with The Trouble and Miss Bacon, and we all sat down to enjoy lunch, courtesy of Lisa’s Kitchen.  By the time I’d finished my set, I had warmed-up the crowd and our host @steviedundee stormed right in!  Big love to Stevie for another brilliant event!

We then got on the road to Stevenage and we were there just before 10.00.  As usual, the Let The Music Play crew were grinning broadly and flinging some foot!  Always a good vibe at @willprovencal’s events!  Right in the middle of the dancefloor, wearing a loud silver top, The Trouble was shocking out and shaking her money-maker!  We got home just after 2.00.

No rest for the wicked.  I’m sitting in for my brother @craigwilliams on ‘Mi-Afternoons’ on Mi-Soul today, so if there’s something you want to hear, let me know NOW!  I don’t look very pretty today so, whatever the weather, the shades will be on!

St. Louis man fatally shoots neighbor who was arguing with his girlfriend | Caught on camera ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A confrontation that took place right before a man was fatally shot in South City Friday was caught on camera. Craig Williams, 23, was shot in the 4000 block of Hydraulic Friday evening. Williams was arguing with his girlfriend before a neighbor armed with a handgun stepped in and shot him. But Williams’ friends say there was no reason for the neighbor to use deadly force. A video recorded from across the street shows the moments leading up to the shooting. Friends of Williams, Daniel Calmese and Michael Atkins, say Williams was arguing with his girlfriend, Melissa. Her family members were on the scene and Atkins says they were telling others from the neighborhood not to get involved. A person was shot to death in south St. Louis City Friday afternoon.  “There were several people out there with Craig saying, ‘Hey, you can go back in the house,” Atkins said. After the man identified as a neighbor tells Williams to leave, you see him take a position behind a nearby car. “When Craig walked into that street, you saw that man lock eyes with Craig, he wanted to follow him. When Craig walked into that street, he walked in front of the car, then came back. He wanted to find a better shot to find Craig, that’s what his idea was,” said Calmese. News 4 went to the home of person believed to be the shooter, but nobody answered the door. Calmese and Atkins dispute news reports that Williams was choking Melissa and that the neighbor had no choice but to fire shots. Both Calmese and Atkins say Williams was a gun owner but was not a threat when he was shot and killed. “Even in the video, you can see my friend Craig walking away and you can see the man still following him walking around the car and got in the position like he wanted to…” said Atkins. Craig Williams Named New Jordan Brand President

According to CNBC

Nike on Tuesday named former Coca-Cola executive Craig Williams as president of its sports shoes unit Jordan Brand.

Williams, who will take charge on Jan. 14, most recently headed the world's biggest beverage maker's partnership with fast-food chain McDonald's.

He will replace Larry Miller who will become the chairman of the newly created Jordan Brand advisory board, Nike said.

Jordan Brand is a premium brand of footwear, apparel and accessories inspired by the legacy of former basketball player Michael Jordan.
