He is growing so fast, but sometimes he still needs his mama. Last night, with the new lockdown regulations in place, he wanted or needed to cuddle with me. Hours past his bedtime, he managed to settle in to sleep, and you had better believe that I enjoyed every single second of his small, deep breathing body curled up next to me. At his age, I don’t know when he will ever fall asleep in the crook of my arm again, so these small moments comfort me just as much as they do him. 2020 is hard on adults and kiddos alike. HELP Something about this picture made me sad today. My daughter is very important to me and I feel responsible for curating a childhood that prepares her for the world. HOW DO YOU DO THIS WITH CARONA VIRUS SCREWING UP EVERYTHING RELATED TO CHILDHOOD! Sorry I'm fustrated and the caps are a bit much. Perhaps I'm in the garden because I can control how these plants grow up and how safe they are in my beds, looked after and cared about while my daughters world has been narrowed into the walls of our house. I feel so bad her friends are in video calls and her fun is alone at a park with hand sanitizer and mask. I want her life to be more. I'm going to take her hiking next weekend and to visit some caves in Northern NY. I've moved the projector outside so we can watch movies outside.
