This is the illustration I made of Arnold and myself for our magnet wedding favors. It was a lot of work to cut them all out, glue them on the acrylic circles, add magnets, and finally seal them to be waterproof, but it was worth it!

I’ve always written poetry all my life but have been too nervous to really share it because—wearing your heart on your sleeve can be scary! ❤️🩹 But that is what this comic is—the mermaid and the red winged blackbird symbolize “wearing your heart on your sleeve.” And I think maybe someone somewhere would like to read it. Maybe someone can be inspired by these two characters of mine. I hope you are.✨
