O'ercharger With Death

Lambert x Narinder || Royal AU

Still unsure what this AU should be about. Pretty much it's just me throwing stuff in there to see what sticks, no solid story just concept ideas.

warnings below → drinking blood, blood, eye gore and murder

Haha funny instrumental representing the living body and the old faith being conductors capable of influencing mortals' music with tragedy.

Although Narinder can not influence anyone. death isn’t capable of changing the outcome. death is the end of ends something already pre-decided. Lambert though…

If one of the hands of death could conduct music wouldn't it be similar to reanimating a corpse?

It was prophesied that Narinder would share the role of death with a Lamb, Hence his arranged marriage with Lambert. However, even with Lambert as life and could revive the dead, Lambert still struggles to reanimate the dead and simply refuses to do so despite narinder's encouraging gifts but soon would be enough.

Standing underneath the shattered stained glass ceiling, drenched in his sibling's blood that was beginning to burn his flash and soon leaving nothing but bone. his neck snapped upward to the heavens above, chanting his forbidden scripture.

The ear of pestilence silenced all sounds before all sounds became louder with the mind of war ripping the fabric of space in half, the gods, they saw through the eyes of chaos and spoke through the throat of famine. Narinder was going to unstable the balance and bring an apocalypse to the crowns if it would undo the vile prophecy.

That's when the guards started piling into the castle doors.

His actions resulted in banishment his siblings decided; to chain their brother beneath the kingdom's catacombs. These catacombs connected the vast territories of Darkwood, Anura, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle. In this place, Narinder would serve as an eternal undertaker.

Someone had to take on the role of death, and Narinder was deemed unreliable. And I think it would be cool if Shamura and the others would have to take on that responsibility.

The prophecy would soon be brought forth. Shamura and the others can try to prevent it, but it will come to fruition. Thus the madness above and beneath the kingdoms began.

I chose butterflies because of their mud pudding; I thought it would be neat to represent butterfly blush sprouting from the lambs' corpses.

For-Get-Me-Nots is pretty self-explanatory.

Aster is based on the tears of Astraea.

The Golden Beams is about Narinder and Lambert becoming one… and their marriage. Lol

Think the cult grounds being built on top of Narinder's kingdom would be a neat concept; might play around with it at a later date.

I really really wanted to work on diverse character lineups and silhouettes so designs of my favourite followers. (Plus The Lamb)

I wanna keep the red on the design of every follower, Anubis seems as the only exception but she wears a red undershirt. It’s like the opposite of The Village, red is the safe colour in this cult.

And yeah that lamb drawing is familiar, this is one of the other character sheets I stole from for The Lamb and Narinder refs.

I wanna maybe do some more later. I should probably also give the ex bishops concrete follower designs too at one point.

I have my ramblings about Nobre, Nagre and Anubis here. Rambling about the other three under the cut.

Puar (They/He)

American Akita and Nobre’s younger sibling. He’s a trained doctor from Darkwood who got separated from Nobre and found by The Lamb after almost ten years. With their extended lifespan granted by The Lamb they’ve become one of the most skilled and multifaceted doctors alive.

Jamer (He/Him)

Bass from Anchordeep (who drives me fucking crazy.) He’s the main labourer and in charge of construction around the cult. He asked me once multiple times in a row to feed the same follower poop. (And yes I did it the first few times and when I finally said no, that was when Nobre rolled up to ask me the same shit)

Merarna (She/They)

Free-Tailed Bat from Anura. Fiercely independent missionary who would much rather be outside the cult ground on her own. They’re incredibly quick on their feet and wield a spear.

The Keys

They were the volunteers who offered to help the cult due to the leader's discomfort with being the one to choose. The leader gave them a more appropriate title, one that would better demonstrate the value of their decision. They accomplished their mission bravely. If you know, you know.

Taking place during the main game.

I’m gonna pretend Anne died in a cool way, not that I accidentally sacrificed her to the rat.

I like to pretend in my brain that on crusades it’s actually my followers coming with me and not that I’m allowing a demon into them. So that’s how it’s gonna work in No Devotion because it’s my house and I can do what I want.

I’m trying to find that sweet spot where I don’t spend ten years colouring cause I hate colouring but also so these don’t look like ass.

Followers are Anubis (or Anne) she/her, based on a Dutch Shepard. Nobre he/him and Puar they/he, they’re siblings and both Akitas. Can you tell I like dogs, all my favourite followers are dog.

Sure thing! I’ll take this opportunity to drop a few expressions sketches I had of her, as I’m trying to give her more expressions than her typical frowny grin (and I’m failing)

As for the second part of your ask- well, to be honest, we’re on the internet, so I understand your concern, but there isn’t much I can do about it, as it is a strictly businesslike relationship. If it helps, I can tell you the vast majority of my comms ended up very neatly (the one that didn’t was because of a communication error), and I make sure to update commissioners regularly

However, I am a college student, and I already have one commission going on, plus another person waiting in line for theirs. So it would be a little while before you can commission me anyway!

If you’re interested however, you’ll find my commission sheet riiiiight bellow (be aware that I am planning on changing the prices soon enough! Not by much tho)

I often go through PayPal for comms, and I prefer communicating through Discord (as Tumblr is- not the most reliable when it comes to DM notifications)
