Background:

A 34 years old Tlacuache who lives the dream that many would like to have: A powerful husband, living off her art, a good reputation within her village, and two fantastic children... If only that reflected reality. Her life is far from perfect, since Delilah has been the victim of a forced marriage at the age of 19 to the son of the previous chief of Sigilla Village, Zechariah Demirkan, whom she detests with all her being. A fate Del wouldn't wish even on her worst enemy.

She hasn't had peace since her childhood, after that fateful day where her older brother, Stanford Mun-Ime the Coyote, ran away from home to save himself from a terrible future. Certain superior figures have been and continue to be very strict on her so she never thinks to almost go out of line again, against her wishes. Delilah, due to her reserved nature and fatigue at this point, avoids conflict to maintain the little inner peace she maintains... Although, sometimes, that flame that existed in her youth is fanned, seeking justice in short-lived explosive ways.

Despite all the bad things in her life, Delilah finds passion in her work as an Art Teacher in Sigilla Village, as well as in artistic, alchemical and gardening hobbies at home. She feels a lot of appreciation for her students and some members of the community, who see her as a stubborn, yet wise woman for her choices. However, she finds greater satisfaction in the relationship she has with her father and firstborn, Delilah wouldn't know what to do without them.

Special Info:

- A little known talent, inherited from lunar ancestors, is her ability to absorb moonlight and transfer it to a liquid as a potent ingredient for potions. The residents know of the existence of those potions and buy them to cure their illnesses, but they do not know the true origin of some components.

- Feels a huge emptiness for what could have been if the first escape plan had worked out, her life would have taken a big turn and perhaps Delilah would be very happy, even though she'd had little. However, it is still a dream worth keeping, even if the years have gradually diminished hopes.

- Delilah was in love with another man when she got married and Zechariah, at the beginning of the marriage, tried to make her fall in love with his qualities, but time proved that it would never happen between them and they currently live together like two strangers who detest each other.

- The abandonment of two significant figures has triggered an intense fear of being abandoned again, regardless of whether it is real or imaginary. She's even tried to convince herself not to have connections with others to avoid the pain... If only she didn't crave it at the same time.

- Has a hidden fairy form, but she prefers to stay normal for comfort and not to attract so much attention when it's already combined with her lunar form, whether good or bad.

- Cannot control her emotions and impulses a lot of times, the most benign of all being buying a lot of art supplies and one of the most harmful being alcohol, especially wine.

- After a long day of being overloaded with stimuli, there is nothing better for her than eating comfort food, cooking, reading a book or taking care of the garden. Likewise, she teaches her child Bastion the magic of art and do activities together.

- A faithful follower of the fairy demigod, Faunus, Delilah has felt their presence so many times that she cannot help but feel excited for his return and it's one of the few things that keeps her sane. She was proud of Bastion the day they decided to serve as an assistant in the Church of the Sacred Fruit.

- Her parents are recognized figures, she had a childhood free of economic worries thanks to the work of her father and his puppet... Enchanted shows and her mother, attending to the needs of the place. Delilah has a huge collection of books ranging from books from her childhood, art, culture, alchemy, outer space and even forbidden books on moon magic.

- Has a complicated relationship with her second child, Zebereo Demirkan the Red Panda, since he has a very similar attitude to his father. She loves him, but at the same time she finds it difficult to connect with him, which adds seeds of resentment between the Demirkan siblings.

If a witch went into Darcy's mind, (like in Understanding Willow and Hollow Mind) do you guys think it would have dozens of separate mindscapes for each person in The Core or would it be a huge forest with everyone's memories meshed together?

So I've made an Alter version of Corridor of Memories. The original arrangement I found was by Lamento96, I just added a different flute part, two shamisen, and a piano to refer to the original song. I'm still figuring out Haruka's theme and I am sad that I have no access to Taiko drums in Musescore 4. If it's a little loud, sorry, still figuring out Musescore 4 and how it works. (Much more familiar with 3)

to build on the last post about charlotte’s chronic loneliness as well as the fact that she is not and has never meant to be a protagonist even within her own narrative,  I wanted to quick little note about the nature of charlotte’s overall and overwhelming absence as a person.  to say that she’s not there is one thing,  but to say that she does not actually exist whatsoever until called into reality is another,  and both are true.  these statements coexist.  it ties back to what I’ve been saying about charlotte’s inherent need for other people and connection.  more than the fact that it’s one,   part of her personality to seek social interaction and two,   part of her work to get involved with other people,  the presence of other people is essential to her existence itself.  if there is no one to call her,  she cannot exist.   if there is no one to see her or look for her,  she does not exist.   this,  of course,  carries the implication that the other person is also at fault for bringing charlotte into existence by calling and looking for her in the first place.  but she has to respond too in order to be real.  and it is in her respond that charlotte manages to reclaim a smidgen of agency and control over her otherwise conditional and other-dependent presence.  of course,  she uses her responses and summoned presences to her advantage,  using the chance to embed into people’s minds and realities in a way and to an extent where if she were to disappear back into nothingness,  there will be enough absence or an absence pronounced enough in the other’s perception and understanding of reality to bother them into remembering her or something/someone like her. . .      (    quote from sam sax,  hydrophobia   )

Part 3 (third and most recent aka last one I did. Note though: now I’m not sure if I want this comic to be canon to the au or not? I loved it as a request!! But there’s an idea I wanna humor that contradicts this so. Fair warning there.)

It’s an idea that I’ve been mulling over in my head a lot though and a lot of questions I wanna answer for myself, but that’s kinda what made it a writing challenge too, so unfortunately those 3 comics are the only ones I’ve completed and shared with more confidence, since it’s a hypothetical project I don’t wanna muck up.

But I have a few ideas I’m ironing out, and once I feel solid with em, some more comics would hopefully come!

It's there where he spent the first five years of his life chewing on his brother and parents' belongings, roughly playing with other kids, and causing adults to lose their minds with his non-stop questions and blurt outs in the worst moments possible. During those years, everything looked bright... Until the king's brother from a close city played with dark magic and fused himself with corrupted insect DNA in order to become powerful, a threat of calamity was approaching quickly and whole cities had to be evacuated ASAP or thousands could lose their lives at the hands of cursed insect-like minions. Fortunately, a group of brave warriors managed to seal him in a magical item before things got out of control. The language barriers and instant suspicions coming from the locals made it extremely difficult for them to thrive in this new land. Thankfully, a Coyote woman named Ophelia Ruiz knew their language, helped them to start learning the dominant one and got them a little place where they could stay, it was far away from the village, but it was a better option than living in caves. That's to say, there is something odd about her, but oh well. In one of those meetings, Anakin met Ophelia's daughter, Delilah, the little girl was a shy one and most of the time she was behind one of her parents' legs, but that didn't stop him from developing a crush. The two of them bonded over their weird traits that elders seemed to disapprove of and whenever Ophelia's tried to separate the friends with a sour expression on her face for some reason. That wasn't fair! The sun puppy missed his best friend... Anyways, I can't spoil much, but Anakin made an impulsive action that caused him to be banished from the village at the hands of the chief Zechariah Demirkan. During the arc, Anakin lives with all kinds of mythological creatures in the forest's undergrounds under the wing of a dragon called Zephyr Shailagh and his adopted son, Mallory Solios the Ramidreju. While things are peaceful for him down there, Anakin hopes that someday he will be able to execute a life-long plan which could cost his own life if he fails, but it has been 15 years already... Special Info: - Has ADHD, something that he seemed to inherit from his father and grandmother. Anakin goes from periods of hyper productivity to complete lethargy. More frequently than not, he has issues at getting started on a task (And even staying focused on it, worse if it has multiple layers), known as executive dysfunction. Fidgets a *lot* and isn't always able to sit still and correctly, often taps his claws on surfaces and chews on plant-based chewy products as a way to cope with his wandering mind and energy levels. Fortunately, he is getting better at managing it. ^If I write about it in a way that seems incorrect, let me know ASAP^ - It is common to see him singing, humming, making random noises, and talking to himself about daily activities, details that embarrass him deeply when somebody notices even if they say that he has a beautiful voice or don't mind it at all. The turquoise on his belt serves as a videogame-like inventory where he keeps items and his staff, which is a blessing because Anakin tends to forget where he puts his stuff outside of the gem and hut. Those forgetful traits frustrate him to no end, it's not a secret that he wishes it could vanish on its own. - Uses magical make-up to protect his light eyes from the damaging sunlight, the way it makes him look pretty is a bonus. Mallory doesn't escape from his lectures of "Wait! You forgot your make-up, son!" before an adventure. - In his spare time, he replies to his beloved moon lady with meaningful letters in hopes that, someday, they will be living together after a particular event separated him from her and his old village. This is the reason why he lives in a place full of mythological creatures in a magical and forest-like underground. Also, Anakin picked a thing or two about creating handmade products from his family, and makes good money from that ability. - Speaking of abilities, Anakin has been blessed by having an holified alignment on his pack of elements, the Earth one, which makes him able to create life in areas where it's deemed "highly unlikely" due to levels of corruption accumulated in the area, as long as those levels don't go up to 70% because it would take a lot of energy. - Anakin and his family belong to the Jewish equivalent in my world, whose teachings shaped parts of his kind and justice-seeking attitude. That one holy currently nameless-book indicates that the Earth goddess gave special people the blessing of maintaining and caring for the flora in special ways, which means that generating extreme amounts of wastes and destruction of nature is plain wrong. Pollution (Corruption with another name) is a clear insult to the forces of nature who keep the planet from falling apart and becoming a combo of lifeless wastelands. Trees are the backbone of the world and, in a mishap between the Earth goddess and other gods, Treants were given great wisdom and the purpose of spreading the same benefits that come from the trees as efficiently as they can move around... Despite their calm nature, never pass around them with fire or axes or you could meet your fate. Anakin feels at home with them and even befriended some, heh. - Solar vampirism means that all members fall in a huge spectrum of: Being able to resist intense heat better than others, longevity, take out the youth out of others like an actual vampire does or with specific stabbing weapons (Like Anakin's staff), possess divine powers related to the forces of nature, feed on sunlight like plants (But still need to eat real food from time to time and drink water), and more stuff that needs planning.
