🎩~The Toppat Clan origin
First Toppat era (1920-1960):
The toppat clan started with the first 3 leaders. Dusty, CloudFace and Frank (TRNK)
Dusty (1877-1950): died of a brain problem and old age.
In his past he worked as a casino owner and made money by cheating and swindling people.
He carried a scepter with an emerald in it. He was arrested for several frauds and manipulations of people and games. He knew how to steal and convince people very well, all to have power over one or more people.
Cloudface (1885-1970) Retired and died of old age.
Cloudface was a master of disguise and liked to fool people. He is very quiet and thoughtful about what he would steal and do. To escape from difficult situations, he would throw smoke bombs to make people faint, One moment you see him and then you can't see him anymore because of the cloud of smoke. He loved to sneak around and steal things. He was arrested for several robberies, false documents and break-ins.
Frank (T.R.N.K.) (1895-1960) Died in the middle of an invasion of the Toppat base.
He was arrested for a crime he didn't commit because he was found at the scene of the crime, he had a wife and daughter. But since he was arrested, his wife didn't trust him anymore, he couldn't see his own family anymore. Since no one believed him anymore, he decided to join CloudFace and Dusty in their life of crime. "If it's a criminal they see... Then it's a criminal they will have"-Frank
At a time when the Toppat clan was desperate to find a new, trustworthy leader. They decided to try to revive one of the three leaders who was Frank. But with the combination of large-scale electricity and magic... The Toppat clan learned not to wake up dead people... He lost control of his own mind when they brought him back to life, he was no longer human. He couldn't think or form words, he just attacked everyone he saw. He had completely lost sanity, many toppats died that day.

How they met for the first time...
The three met in prison, Frank was imprisoned for crimes he didn't commit. He was cellmates with Cloudface and Dusty. They got to know each other and shared their life stories, becoming great friends and companions. The three made a plan to escape together, with the plan of committing more crimes after the escape. The three of them made a plan to escape together, with the intention of committing more crimes after the escape. After leaving prison and becoming outlaws, they became legendary criminals in many parts of the world, known as the "Triple Thief".
Dusty was the mastermind of the trio, he made the best plans and knew how to convince people, he always knew where and when to rob. Cloudface was the sneaky one of the group, the distraction, he always disguised himself as different people and identities, nobody really recognized him because of his beard. Frank was the strength of the trio, he carried a spiked club. After more than 20 or 30 years, they were arrested in an ambush by the government and taken to The Wall. It was almost like the end for them. But they realized that all the prisoners at The Wall knew and revered them, as if they were crime legends to be respected.
Seeing that this couldn't be the end, they came up with the greatest plan of all, they would free all the prisoners from The Wall, promising that they would all become better and stronger criminals, they would become a clan, a family of criminals where they would be respected by the world. The prisoners then made a big riot on The Wall, they started to destroy everything, all the prisoners fled, all following the Trio's orders to guide them. They started wearing hats in Dusty's honor, because the plan to break out of The Wall and form a clan was his. "The Toppat Clan" was created in 1920, and continues with its incredible crimes and thefts until today.
Note: Maybe I'll add more things in the future and new characters, this is just the summary of the story

*rolls in sideways before getting up* I'd like to know more about your Angelics, please! Especially if there is anyone else aside from Cloudface and Charles who are one! If not, maybe some stuff about their respective powers?
Ooh. Thank you. Hopefully the way I explain this isn't too overdrawn out?
Besides Charles and Cloudface, they are the only ones I currently Hc, or at the least being full blooded if that makes sense, while there's others who have some angelic bloodline from generations past.
Burt and Oldmin are ones who are distantly related to them. Though don't be surprised if there's more who are related to the deity gifted angels.
Traits inherited from Angelics that do lessen as each generation goes on unless another joins into the family;
Burt: Glowing eyes & elongated teeth (but only his canines)
Oldmin: His silver hair & a higher endurance to health issues (sickness, growing old, & etc)
Now to individual abilities for Charles and Cloudface. It's usually the same from one to another but it can differ if they decided to broaden their horizons. So I might add onto this later and update cause I'm winging it here?:
Cloudface: is more advanced and in tune to his Angel nature.
Transformation - near freely to his true from or more mildly alter his appearance
Enhanced endurance and strength
Taboo arts/magic - Other angels don't interfere with earthly affairs but with him, he learned to delve physically and mentally into the unknown.
Charles: I see him being more behind (totally unaware to who he is) so he would be in a whole world of surprise (and vulnerability if anyone catches on. Angelic who aren't able to defend themselves are more prone to danger)
^ Higher endurance and strength Like a punching bag that won't go or stay down and unnatural strength to boot.
Emotion/Aura projection - Able to project emotions onto others, help them relax, and feel at ease around him
I'm still working out on how they exactly work and their powers so yea… But any ideas are welcome here.

At this point, I'm just juggling AU's like a circus act. Anyways, Infinite Life AU time: These have been typed out over several days about the Infinite Life AU, since I never truly stopped thinking about it. It got long, so it’s under a read more. I’ll never organize these, but I still have the info written down, which is a lot of progress for me.
-Although it is possible for anyone affected by the curse to rejoin the Toppat's, as it doesn't take the curse away, it is a high risk of any of them being spotted of a previous leader. Namely, Wilford due to his body not digressing back that much. He still looks exactly like his portrait.
-There is a certain song that the currently leader could sing in a state of calling. No leader has figured it out yet. Reynaldo was the closest to finding this song out, by pure accident. Jaques continues to search for it.
-Terrence and Billy G. actually found each other and stuck around. Billy G. helps Terrence with everyday things (like buttoning his shirt correctly) and Terrence, since he stays generally happy during his age of 19, helps Billy G. find a bit of pure enjoyment in things by himself.
-Although Randy doesn’t remember anything about the clan, he feels compelled to be around the clan once he’s first around it. His mind doesn’t know, but his body does.
-The only person Dusty recognizes is Cloudface, but upon seeing how many leaders there are after him, he feels incredibly bad about taking the curse upon them (this includes Jaques in the portrait)
-Terrence is the first person to realize Jaques is in the portrait and actively communicates with him. Jaques is forever grateful.
-Reynaldo refuses to take his mask off for any reason, in front of people. Doesn’t matter if he’s bleeding behind it, he physically can’t take it off of himself in front of others. It’ll either be forced off (causing a panic attack) or he’ll need to be sedated for however long his face is uncovered
-T.R.N.K can’t fully talk, since he was a failed experiment, but he can at least say enough word good enough for someone to understand. He can’t feel agitated either. He can still feel angry, and when he does, run.
-Jaques can create magic outside of his portrait, but it’s either not seen, very faintly, or similar to a ghost. Five-Eyes can constantly see Jaques’ form outside of the portrait (he claims it’s a dragon, nine times out of ten, big or small)
-Sir Wilford IV, although he looks perfectly healthy and okay, can NOT handle hearing sexy romance. It physically repulses him. He figured this out through Reynaldo commenting on Jaques dragon form, saying “Damn, that’s one sexy motherfucker right there.” Wilford almost immediately gagged and felt sick.
--He felt bad about gagging, since it not only made everyone confused/disgusted with his gag, but also made Billy G. feel sick. That was not his intention or intentional, he profusely apologized for about an hour to Billy G. and Reynaldo
-There is a surprising amount of sympathy for the former leaders, whether they physically or emotionally disabled. Many of the Toppat members are willing to help them out with everyday things. There are a few that hold grudges (mainly to Terrence) and won’t help, but there is someone nearby that helps in their place.
-Once the former leaders all rejoin the Toppat clan, they are given a special badge on their previous top hats, this symbol being the form of wings of either black or white. Black for the lighter colored top hats (like Jaques’) and white for the lighter colors (like Dusty’s). They are given a new rank, called ‘The Guardians’, rather than just being called former or ex leaders.
-Once the former leaders join the clan, there is a few things that Dusty lists down as what should happen for the leadership, to try and stagger the curse to a stop and outlive the curse barer. These rules are given to the Toppat leaders and are never to be gone against.
-Dusty and Cloudface still go by these nicknames rather than their first names. Cloudface because he literally can’t say it (gave up voice), and Dusty because he likes the nostalgic feel of Dusty.
-The Toppat members get nothing but joy watching the older members learn about new technology
-Dusty is flexible as fuck, and will use it to his advantage.
-Randy still feels like he’s missing something, part of his memories being unlocked through looking at his own portrait. But, seeing those, he figured he was okay without the rest of them and never actively searches for them
--The other part of his memories are unlocked through reading his own biography as a leader, which even though suggested to him, he never does it out of partially forgetting and partially not caring who he was before, as he felt like he was a better person now than before.
-Jaques is the only person, ghostly dragon form or not, that Reynaldo feels safe taking his mask off for. Jaques has used this to his advantage to heal up any cuts on Reynaldo’s face that the medics couldn’t due to his panic.
-Jaques also uses his magic mostly within the medic center and within the space station the most. He has used it outside, but it drains him of energy if he gets too far outside.
-Terrence can be found napping in the weirdest places, but they’re almost always intentional for him to sleep there. The top of the fridge is a common place, so is underneath Reginald’s table.
-Reginald doesn’t mind the former leaders being around, as the helpful ones do take a load or two away from him.
--The helpful ones being Dusty, Wilford, Reynaldo (sometimes), and Randy.
-T.R.N.K., as odd as it is, helps in trying to break the curse along with Cloudface. They both find it a relaxing experience to sit in peace and quiet and read for hours.
--People genuinely got concerned when they were nowhere to be found, only for someone to motion to the library and- boom, asleep in chairs with notes sprawled around them and books marked in multiple places.
-After someone goes to the being, they cannot remember their time with it. They can’t recall it’s face or what it even is. Well.. Almost no one. Randy would be able to, Randy is more of a key than anything.

Uhhh this is inspired by a famous Faceless Ayato so-
A THSC character who is faceless and going to steal someone face (or skin, because why not?) to survive. this time, I want to put this to someone other than a main character and it is... Cloudface.
I pick him just because we only see his facial hair, can you imagine no one would bat an eye to Cloudface because no one ever saw his face? What if he is the culprit of the faceless Toppat members who gone to a mission with him, take their face and skin, went back to the clan and told sad news about their fellow who left behind and wait until his face get expired to get a new target.
His facial hair come in handy too because he cant use his original voice and using his target voices will trigger a few members (losing the loved ones or members who actually try to retrives their members and suspicious on Cloudface). while losing a high position is sad he decided that survival is his top priority than a high position.
...he may or may not roaming around the Toppat Clan using someone face :)

Who out of my OCs would train DF apprentices:
Webstripe trains DF apprentices in the art of incelry alongside his besties Harriernose and Horsejaw
Rookstorm trains DF apprentices in hopes of seeing StarClan fall
Iceblaze trains DF apprentices for fun
Oakberry and Hollygorse train a couple of DF apprentices, but only to help them, specifically seeking out cats who are being abused so they may develop the skills to kill their abusers
Frogbranch, Cloudface, and Pinedusk help with training, but only if the training is for a good cause
Lightningspring and Snailstar don't train apprentices, they specifically avoid apprentices bc they don't want to influence young cats with their "monstrous ideals"

A long time back I made a post about Toppat leaders having an eye glow to intimidate people. I wanted to delve a little further into that. Each one has a glow that’s unique to them.
Meanings under the cut:
Reginald: His eye glow is a gold color that matches his gold eyes. It represents his more upper class appearance and mannerisms.
RHM: Based off of what we see in game. He hides his face with the glow from one eye being the only thing most see. Mysterious, just like him.
Dusty: His glow resembles spider webs that come out from his eyes. Also represents how he was the creator of the “web” that became the Clan.
Cloudface: Blue flame. He has a short fierce temper that has been put under better control in his later years.
Jaques: Like Reginald his eyes glow gold/orange. However where Reginald is more of a noble, Jaques is a dragon. His pupils appear more slit with a bright yellow glow.
Randy: His glow is more of sparkles that represent his energetic and celebratory nature.
Reynaldo: Pure fire. This is what Cloudface’s glow looked like before he simmered down with age. Like with fire, mess with Reynaldo and you will be hurt badly.
TRNK: After being revived his eye glow resembled teared up eyes, showing his pain from the botched revival. His eye glow prior to his death has been long forgotten in the clan.
Billy G: Takes the form of an upside down broken heart. When this shows it means he’s not in the romantic mood, or a happy mood do not let that smile fool you he’s about to snap your neck.
Sir Wilford IV: The white of his good eye glows blood red while the iris and pupil become black and white. Not meant to be as outwardly terrifying as Rey or Cloudface’s fire, but terrifying in a more serious way. When you see this glow it means you have Wilford’s full, undivided attention.
Terrence: Pure white, hiding his iris and pupils. He doesn’t want to show any conflicting emotions inside.
Sven: Hasn’t fully accepted chiefdom at the time. He took it out of emergency since Reg and Right were arrested without warning. It is subtle due to his lack of self confidence.
Henry: Lightning. Symbolizes his fast and unpredictable strategies. The little stars in his eyes are a hint to his more chaotic/eldritch powers.
Ellie: The beginning of a fire type glow like Rey and Cloudface.

Have we mentioned some of our Dusty and Cloudface headcanons? I don't think we have?
Anyways Cloudface was a government sniper who saw the corruption and Fucking Booked It to the Toppats.
Dusty struggled with substance abuse due to having the same abilities as Henry, and joined the clan to try and get away from it all.
They met and Cloudface initially thought Dusty was egotistical and snobby, but they grew close eventually :)

do tell! I had an old, old, OLD AU of an angel charles so i'm soo down to listen to anyone's ideas for their own AU!
Here's some angel Charles lore I've got to share. Now I hope you all enjoy it and I'm always open to share more I've got for this.
I do apologize for the wait here and if this is a messy ramble that may be confusing here but I really wanted to share as much as I can in the post. It's more about what makes up them as a whole then Charles themselves.
So if anyone wants to know more don't hesitate as I would love to share all I've got about this lore.
So Charles isn't the only person of his kind. As there was once many others like himself that were called the Angelics. Many centuries prior, they were simply regular, everyday people who've been blessed with the gift by an all knowing, powerful deity
The said entity that gifted them with such power is long been forgotten by now for many outside though in their culture, the entity was always celebrated as a good thing who'll protect them
Apperance:
- They usually come in all shapes and sizes though more commonly there much taller, lithe with sharper features then the average human. But outliers of this do come about and are seen as just as equally desirable
- Naturally born with thick/wavy curls, coming in colors such as white, gray, or black. Sometimes it can be two or tricolored
- Unnaturally wide eyes that can see clearly in the night and glows quite radiantly. As well, if they have freckles, moles, scars, birthmarks and so on, they have the same competent to glow
- Sharp, dagger like teeth that can peirce through nearly any surface with ease like a knife to butter.
^ Often from the outside looking in beside what's stated above they do appear similair to humans but do have a higher, more power 'true' form. A form that I base off the more biblically accurate angels but it tends to scare people off and very few angelics can actually do this anyways so the form is rarely used
Examples of the powers they're gifted with are; enlongated lifespan, quicker regenerative healing, as well, an higher endurance to pain, transformation, weather/nature control, aura projection, and a natual knack for magic (ie. Healing is most common but there's more out there).
They can unfortunately still get hurt and die. As they're not exempt from either or. As well can suffer from certain illness too critical for even them to heal from
When their blood is spilt, it has a clear, glowing hue to it that if it comes to contact with anyone, non-angel can be quite addictive
^ Also, they're naturally born to be charismatic, friendly group willing to help people in need and the type that can draw anyone in from their peacefully calming aura. They have a lucky and easygoing streak to them
In game/canon characters I Hc as Angelics, full blooded are Charles & Cloudface with all the gifted abilities
^ Nowadays there's people who are more distantly related to them without the natural borne powers then there are actual natural-born, first generation angels.
Their overall biology is contrastingly different to humans yet almost similair. (Honestly I'm still figuring it all out myself in that one)
