with that au idea you had, I think it would be VERY interesting, maybe we can have a new timeline where henry frees all the criminals from The Wall? He didn't really betray Ellie, he just ran for it. Or Ellie used the chaos to also escape and she tagged along on the boat later.
That is actually an interesting idea, though I would imagine Henry might wait a bit to free the criminals at the Wall so he could come up with something of a plan because he probably does want to get back at the Wall for everything they did, just in a way that isn't going to result in a second death.
Also the thought of Ellie seeing all the chaos from Henry yoloing it and just easily sneaks out is amazing and I would imagine if Ellie went to Dr V's boat afterwards and saw Henry would probably go something like,
"Yo its you again, what happened to you?"
"Died and came back as a cyborg apparently. How'd you escape?"
"Used the chaos you cause to escape."

And thinking about it, maybe that's also why Henry could be so "lucky" and out possess some of Gadbet's inventions.?

If it makes you feel any better: pissing off Twitter is a pretty much inevitable at this point.
But anyway yeah, this goes for any creative media. You need to understand why it's structured the way it is, and why it's so different from other mediums. Like you said: you can't write a good book by only watching movies, or make a good game only reading novels, or make a good movie only reading stories.
Just look at any shitty video game/book/movie adaptation to see what happens.
my hot take is that if you want to write a book, you need to read books

Found an old idea that I had left unfinished, until now at least lol.
I love the idea of Henry's powers being found out post CTM and how people would react to it. Ellie, Charles, and Galeforce accepting Henry for who he is, and realizing all the deaths he's gone through. That despite all the timelines he chose this one. The CCC (and by extension the Wall) still fearing Henry and wanting to keep him under control. After all in several timelines he lifted up the Toppat Clan and even killed Dmitri in two timelines (PP and TR)
And then there's Reginald who is my favorite reaction :D

Right Hand Man is called Right Hand Man, because he is Reginald's literal right hand man.
There really is no evidence I know of that says who owns the teddy bear. If it was Reginald's or an elite's, it wouldn't be inside a safe deep inside a storage room. I think it's either someone's idea of a joke for anyone trying to steal from the clan, or it's an item from a deceased leader.
Burt is the head of communications. More than likely he just sent Reginald's command down to the Toppats that do control Supreme Dominance.
Shock, confusion maybe at one second talking to someone and the next being in the trash bin with no known reason. He'd probably figure it out once the cops start investigating why one of their prisoners is dead right in front of the building.
Charles has only one braincell, and it was busy piloting the copter.
It's reasonable to think you just didn't notice a package instead of the package just popping into existence. Besides, who'd believe Dave?
Could be anything really, or even nothing at all. The Wall also has prisoners who didn't actually break the law (Mark Emu). Besides that Ellie's got a history of fighting skills, chaotic powers (the force), aggression, and no qualm joining up with Toppats if she sees fit to.

Maybe it’s just the fandom I’m in but why does fanon giving characters mobility aids so often go to canes and nothing else? Why not a wheelchair? Or crutches? A walker?

I have a couple of guesses.
Canes are what is mostly thought of when it comes to mobility aid regardless of time period or place. No need to worry about time anomalies.
Canes look dapper as fuck
Easier to draw correctly compared to others. There was a post I saw on here listing the common mistakes artists make when drawing wheelchairs, and I never would've known any of those mistakes.

This was the animation base edit I was talking about before. I found it here on Pinterest. Sadly I couldn't find the original source; tapping Pinterest's source link just takes me to my Tumblr dashboard.
EDIT: Thank you @celestiachan for finding that it wasn't actually a base but fan art for Animator vs Animation. It had shown up on Pinterest under "Draw the Squad gif" so I thought it was a base. I'll be more careful on what I use from Pinterest from now on.
