have you heard about the new movie called emily? it comes out next weekend i think. thoughts?

Intrigued. Nervous, but intrigued.

The trailer looks very promising, but I’m typically skeptical/leery when it comes to adaptations of my favorite books/book series (my anxiety was spiking so bad when awae was first announced and we both know how fantastic that turned out). I know this is moreso about Emily and not WH, but it’s closely related since it’s about the author and is centered around her writing WH, you know?

First of all I’d ask him why his money is stopping at tattoos, does he want pictures of them or does he want to cut them out of my skin to keep as souvenirs?

are you going to go see halloween ends? i went last night and i want to hear all your thoughts!

I watched it on peacock after the letdown with the last one.

And tbh, I didn't know much going into it. I saw the teaser and I believe the full trailer, but I had no idea what the plot would be.

And, if I'm being brutally honest, I'm glad it only cost me my time. I thought it was better than Kills, but not nearly what 2018 was. An idea that seemed intriguing on paper (I'm down with the idea passing the torch bc the OGs ARE aging), but it wasn't well executed, imho. Corey was TOO all over the place. Some is to be expected, but I stopped WANTING to buy what they were trying to sell with him fairly early on.

And there were some OOC moments for me, primarily with Allyson, who let me down in a major way. Prob my fault though bc I really thought they were positioning her to be as badass as Laurie.

Basically, I don't think it's the absolutely worst one in the franchise, but it's far from the best.
