Society really needs a Warhammer40k AU where aliens and magic aren't real and all of these things are just imperial propaganda about other human empires. At the same time we need a 40k AU where choas is unquestionably the good guy faction and all the main characters are queer. At the same time we need a 40k AU that's based on homestuck and exists to be horrible and liked by nobody but especially make the worst sides of both Fandoms deeply uncomfortable.

This is a paradox our society must deal with moving forward.

IM SO EXITED, in two weeks I;m going to paint my new khorne berserkers. I recently finished my Crimson fists. I have collected some flat stones for terrain for the basses for my berserkers im so exited to see how they turn out!!!

This might seem an odd question, but it's mostly for writing purposes. Say that you are a part of a choas undivided faction in 40k that carved out a minor empire, what would be something you would consider for giving worlds to specific gods for defense against the imperium?

The big problem is that the Chaos Gods will fight against each other, such as with the Scourge Stars in 40k, where after Nurgle got ahold of a few stars to call his own, Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh invaded to ensure he wouldn't hold dominance. So part of being a warlord of Chaos Undivided is using a combination of raw physical might, charismatic leadership, and manipulation to always keep your forces focused outwards and ensuring that the Chaos Gods don't believe that another one of the Ruinous Powers is gaining too much of a leg up on the others. That goes for external threats too, your little empire should be exporting Chaos cults into areas of space not controlled by you in order to distract the Imperium, and passing off movements of other factions like Necrons or Tyranids to stop the Imperium from seeing you as a compelling threat.

That's actually a great story in and of itself. Many of the Heretic Astartes worship Chaos Undivided, but they are, by and large, warbands. Chaos Furies are individually weak, so you either have to find a way to unite Daemons from different gods together or be extraordinarily cunning with mortal cultists, technology, and Furies. Someone who can do that without turning into a Chaos Spawn is a worthy player of Chaos - someone who isn't on the Abaddon galaxy ending Black Crusade scale, but very high indeed.

rp  experience  /  how  long. i’m 30.. lmao!! i started rping in the roleplay boards on NEOPETS, okay? i don’t even know what year that was!! EIGHTH/NINTH GRADE DANDI???  soooo like-- fuck. i graduated high school in 2010 so like 2007/2008 ish? sure, let’s go with that. i’ve been around the block. rped both on tumblr and off. & i have a bachelors in english literature aka a fancy $40K paper that says i can write. 

best  experience. oh shiiit. i mean.. there really have been a lot over the years! i have friends i’ve met irl from rp when they came to the east coast! i’ve been in fandoms where it was just such a sweet and family vibe until some sort of choas always ensued, but the happy times in the inuyasha rpc or rwby & fairy tail rpcs here was fun. honestly?? now? i feel like there at times will always be some kinda drama on the dash, tbh. but the friends i’ve made / have now at this point in my life? i am just having a great time! :)

rp  pet  peeves  /  dealbreakers. i mean drama, negativity, sure. but-- constant pestering is kinda big for me. i work on an average of about 46 hours a week. and my job can be stressful. i am SLOW with messages on discord and responses/asks/replies. so, constant asking for threads / asks does get under my skin because then rp feels like it’s part of my job & it’s not. this is a way for me to de-stress & relax, so please don’t be that guy :tm: i’ll get to it when i can. i think another that also tends to bother me is i’ve told you once, i shouldn’t have to say it again. & that’s irl too. like if you know the answer, why ask again? idk-- and i digress. jsadhfb;l

fluff,  angst,  or  smut. fluff & angst more than the nasty. & obviously the nasty is with of age muses only, but that just needs a whole level of comfort from me that i will not have with each mun when we just start writing. i mean that goes for all shippy things and such, like the chemistry has to be there for me. but, i’d need to be comfortable with the mun too. & the nasty is like super rare so i don’t even know why i’ve typed all this on it, oops.

plots  or  memes. honestly, i like both!! sometimes with multiple muses (which i have, have you seen my gdoc?! who am i-- ajskdnbf) it’s just easier to plot! because then i have something to look forwards to with a lot of different characters, plus it gives me more ideas when doing starters / asks. but winging it? hey, sometimes that’s the best way!

long  or  short  replies.  sdflgjksfd;gl/ if you cannot tell by the size of this freaking thing, idk what to tell you. my replies can get lengthy! esp. if i am super into the thread / character interactions, etc! i mean i do try and post shorter things, but more often than not they tend to be on the longer side. my characters are all over thinkers, sorry lmao. but i always say to my partners not to feel obligated to match if it does get long!

best  time  to  write. god... whenever i have the free time? a lot of times i write asks on mobile at work and then answer them in the ask, but i’ll always mobile tag it and usually only do that with asks i think won’t be turned into threads! other times it’s usually after work or on a weekend if i have some free time there.

Siege of Castle Eisenkrieg by Joazzz2

On the edge of the Segmentum Obscurus, at the gates of the Halo Stars, there sits an unremarkable world of ice once brushed by the touch of the Ruinous Powers. As the sole structure in this forsaken realm stands the fortress of Eisenkrieg, a monolith of tainted mortar and cursed stone raised eons ago for a purpose now long forgotten. The few that know of the existence of this place have whispered that in ancient times the castle walls guarded an artifact, a weapon or a source of power so potent that only a fortification built with the dark powers of the Empyrean could be trusted to hold it secure from parties that would seek to exploit the nebulous relic for their own ends. The first masters of the castle have been dust for uncounted ages, but rumours persist that the original purpose of the fortress remains true - that the secret of the castle still lies within its walls. Perhaps it was these rumours that lead a sizable force of renegades and their daemonic allies to occupy the ancient walls and towers in the late M41, seeking to uncover the mysteries of the old keeps. Their voyage to the world did not go unnoticed, however, and soon afterwards the reoccupied fortress was beset by warbands from the Iron Warriors and the Black Legion, as well as their auxiliaries. A brutal siege ensued, with the renegade guardsmen and their daemonic comrades managing to hold back the combined might of two forces of experienced traitor Legiones Astartes through constant and vicious artillery bombardment, as well as sorcerous trickery behind the besiegers' lines. Eventually the Black Legion and even the siegemasters of the Iron Warriors tired of the stalemate, disengaging their forces and quitting the field in search of better challenges. As the siege was lifted, the daemons turned on the renegade regiments and the forces inside the castle walls slaughtered each other in a swift storm of melee and warpfire, and the fortress of Eisenkrieg fell into silence once more.

I want my Poxwalkers to be a bit darker, grubby and generally more disgusting, than most... I'm going for horror rather than comic relief. Also, I'm thinking ahead and want to make sure that they contrast with my Death Guard (next project). . After playing around with the skin tones I'm pretty happy with the result. I've used a combination of shades and glazes over Army Painter's Necrotic Flesh. . I'm going to tidy this chap up and then paint the next lot in a couple of batches. So yeah - we’re getting the 9th edition (I got on board the Warhammer 40k train in the 7th) and shit is starting to progress at a faster pace than ever (people who tried to get me interested in Warhammer often complained that it’s in a forever Status Quo).

So. From what I know what is happening currently in the Dark Future of the year of our Lord - the Emperor of Mankind 100something M42?

- The Necrons are probably going to fully awaken as the Silent King is returning for good (which is really bad news for all the other races in the Galaxy, except maybe for the Orks - they’ll enjoy another friendly race to fight with).

- The Orks are uniting under the Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka - now bigger and stronger than ever after his death at the hands of Ragnar Blackamne (Ghaz really died but got better when his head got stappled back to the body). We’re basically about to get War of the Beast 2.0 - the Green Boogaloo.

- Primaris marines (which I personally despise as making no real sense) were nice enough to provide us with first traitors and some Choas mad science is already tinkering with some gene-seed they obtained so we’ll soon get Chaos Primaris (which still won’t be able to use the same transports as regular marines - go buy new toys please)

- Speaking of Chaos - some Traitorous Primarchs are beginning to take action since the return of Rowboat Grillman (I am going to misspell his name as many times as i can).

- Loyal Primarchs are also probably going to return - we have Robot Guyman who’s been active for over a century now. We also got first glimpse of Corvus Corax who went and utterly thrashed Lorgar on his own planet in the Eye of Terror. People seem to be placing bets on who’s gonna return next - top contestants include Lion (time to end this nap), Leman Russ (because stuff happened to Fenris) and Rogal Dorn (fun but depressing theory is that he never anandoned the Imperium but got lost in Space-Time due to warp - those 10k years that passed for him were mere minutes).

- Not sure what the Eldar are up to but some of them are helping the Imperium? I mean Rob G-man basically got himself an Eldar girlfriend and everyone’s been jealous... I mean... it’s obviously Heresy! Were he not the Son of the Emperor the Inquisition would have a serious talk with him!

- The Tau are on the verge of civil war? Not sure about it but there seems to be some growing tensions between the Tau Empire and the Farsight Enclave. GOOD. This is good actually. We’re getting the first case of “My greater Good is Greater than yours!” - maybe they’ll learn to pick up some sharp pieces of metal to beat the shit out of each other.

- I have nothing on Dark Eldar and the Tyranids?

- One last thing - Custodes are finally taking some more active role in the events? For one it’s good. Sitting on their golden asses for 11k years was kinda dumb. On the other hand some new Custodes fluff is kinda dumb. like really? They can retire? And then they BLEND IN THE IMPERIAL SOCIETY? Have you seen a 9 foot tall muscular demigod go and BLEND IN!? Also - they aren’t naked anymore...

If someone can fill in the gaps in all of this purely researched summary I’d be grateful.
