So I’ve been really unwell lately, pretty down and have been for over a week. It’s been worse than it normally has in about a year. Luckily my absolutely amazing girlfriend has cheered me up every day. Whilst she’s been out the past 2 days, each time she came back with little surprises for me. First day it was the unicorn teddy and sweets which really cheered me up 😂😂 and the next what the next picture 🥰😂😂😂 she has really made my life better! Plus I got the job I’ve wanted for a while!!! Today’s been great❤️🥰 don’t know where I’d be without this girl tbf

This quote is so true for me today. Isabelle has a friend over for a sleepover tonight, so it's been pretty full on this evening with two hyper giggling 8 year olds. Me and Che (@mr_scorch) were very quickly kicked out of the front room so the girls could play and have control of the TV and Xbox. We spent most of the evening upstairs listening to music I found on an old laptop and Che was on his PS4. It's been so lovely to hear the girls conversations, listening and watching them play together - it was something I didn't realize I needed. At one point in the evening, they come upstairs, sat on the bed and told us all about the school gossip! I was loving it because it's not something Isabelle will talk about very often. I felt part of their little school gang with the stories they were telling us, it was just like the sleepover scene from Grease 😂😂 Both of the girls have made us laugh so much tonight. After a really crap few weeks, I can honestly say that those two precious girls have cheered me right up and made me genuinly smile and laugh. They really have lifted my spirits. I've learned tonight that sometimes we don't always see what's in front of us and what can break the dark mood we've been in for awhile. I never would've guessed that two lovely little girls would mend my broken soul with such simple things - laughter and conversations. Thank you to my darling daughter and her wonderful friend for helping me find my smile and happiness again - both of you are truly amazing.
