Um, hellooo! I saw you up requests and I wanted to give a try but feel free to reject this. May I ask for a reader who isekai'd in the way to protect the female lead's older brother long before roxana was born. The reader mother is a nanny(do they allow that?? idk) of lante when he was younger so reader and him sorta grew up together. And then when he became the head, he had the reader became his kids nanny/caretaker and as one of his righthand. Pls and ty!

❥ so you isekai'd in the way to protect the female lead's older brother's world long before the story started? congratulations! and you even became the daughter of the female lead's father nanny? good luck trying to survive.

❥ somehow, you managed to survive up to your late twenties as LANTE AGRICHE trusted servant and closest confidante. which was shocking, to say the least. but you know deep down, he held some sort of genuine affection for your mother since his mother passed away.

❥ and you two had grown up together despite being in different worlds from each other. even after your mother's death, he kept you around as he killed his father and took the position of the head of agriche. even as he changed for the worse, you remained by his side.

❥ whether it was out of obligation or sincerity, you no longer knew why you stayed beside him. but you know why he wanted you. after all, your mother made her mark on him and so did you. people found it odd that he didn't try to marry you just to keep you by his side since it was more effective. but you both knew better than that.

❥ it was the consequences of your actions, you thought to yourself, as he burned your marriage requests in the fireplace. anything that allowed relationships beyond his family, his household, and especially himself was an absolute no. but that's fine. who needs friendship and love anyway?

❥ besides, as he began to collect his wives and mistresses ( much to your disdain ), you knew the story was gonna start soon. and despite knowing the end for this household, you still wanted to change a few things. and what better way to start as lante made you the official nanny of his children.

❥ FONTAINE was an eight-year-old child when you first met him. to make his father proud. at first, he wasn't quite fond of you as you took most of his father's time but eventually, he liked the maternal affection you gave to him. he felt entitled to have your time. in return, you made sure he kept at least some of his morals growing up. you unfortunately weren't able to stop the rebelliousness growing in him and could only hope he would make wise decisions. ( yes, you made sure to tell him the deficits of incestuous relationships and frightened him enough that he would see his female siblings as competition which is progress at least. )

❥ GRIZELDA was only a toddler when she first approached you about a book you were reading during your time off. you knew she was the only agriche to have magic so the pressure on her was high. when all was against her, you were right by her side to hold her steady. that and you two had bonded over books together. as she was young, it was you who tucked her into bed and told her stories and tales you knew from your past life and current. even as she grew older, she loved hearing interesting stories that came from you. you always made time for her even when you were busy with taking care of lante's work and the children. always reminding you to take care of yourself as well.

❥ ASHIL was only a year old when you met him. sierra was a wonderful and sane woman so you often visited her. ashil reminded you of a golden retriever and you became fond of him instantly. he always asked for your help and was ready to help you if you had any problems. the day you knew ashil failed the exam, you beg to lante to give spare ashil so you may take him as your own. because of your shared past, he reluctantly did so. it was the only way for him to live safely even if it meant taking him from his mother and sister. though the mother-sister duo thanked you profusely. especially as ashil pledged to protect you along with those he considered as his family. even as he grew stronger and older, he kept true to himself.

❥ DION was also a baby when you first carried him in your arms after maria's birth. while she complained about the baby's looks and disappointment, you saw another baby to love and cherish. lante and maria's parenting only got worse so you took matters in your hands and had him stay with you and ashil. he was quite a curious and mischievous boy, always finding trouble to drag his older brother with him. luckily, ashil had infinite patience as an elder sibling and always pulled back dion when necessary. it was also rather cute to see dion and roxana fight over who gets more ashil and your time. the older dion grew, he began to resemble more of his father which worried you. but when he smiled that playful smile at you and his close siblings, the anxiety vanished as you returned the smile.

❥ ROXANA was unsure about you when she first saw you. she hadn't remembered you being mentioned in the novel along with the evident changes. you were an unpredictable variable so she was cautious around you. it took some time but after saving ashil, she viewed you as an angel descended from the heavens to protect them. and she let you into her small circle and her heart. eventually, you told her of your past life which shocked her. so that explains everything! but she felt the comfort of another person in her situation just as she did and swore to protect you as well. despite your warnings, she still went ahead with the butterfly project knowing it could shorten her life. so you made sure to take care of her despite her pouts to relieve your, ashil, and sierra's worries. and cassis came along as the story unfold, he could see how important you were to the children of agriche. you liked to tease roxana and him often after he escaped.

❥ JEREMY was clingy and touch-starved when he first met you as a young child. he had just returned from his brutal class with a harsh wound, unable to hold back his whimpers. you found him there and gathered him into your arms to your room so that you could heal his wounds. his mother didn't even see and he watched her commit suicide with his own eyes as she refused to interact with him. since then, he has been attached to you by the hip. you were his mother. that was what he called you, openly especially since the others addressed you as either aunty or nanny. you were one of the few people who could stop jeremy from his violent tendencies with a word or a touch. he didn't want to scare his mother after all.

❥ CHARLOTTE was easily attached to you as she had a rocky relationship with her mother. you were more of her mother than her mother and she loved it when you praised her. it was a competition again between her and jeremy which gave you enough headaches as you recalled the rivalry between dion and roxana before. history had a way of repeating itself. still, like jeremy, you had a way of calming her down. with her hothead and brash personality, you helped her try to control it so she wouldn't get into any more trouble with lante and her mother. she loves it especially when you call her by her nickname 'lotte' since it was her first nickname she received.

❥ though all the agriche kids were raised as they were, you became their moral support and someone they genuinely care for. it was you who put yourself between lante and themselves when they were punished. and if you couldn't stop it, you always attended to their wounds and stayed with them for the night, as they rest on the couch. how could they not love you?

❥ even lante couldn't do anything as he found it a good reason to keep you in the agriche mansion. which was his biggest mistake. even as his top children began to plot against their father, you also went along with it as their spy. after all, lante was no longer the boy you grew up with and you had to open up your eyes. and if he had to be disposed off so that you could protect the children, so be it.

❥ after the night the agriche household fell, it was you placed the final blow on lante. and you had to witness fontaine demise from cassis's sword, though some small part of you mourned for that eight year old boy you knew long ago. and as roxana's health declined, you sent her to cassis in hopes that there was a possibility she could be healed.

❥ you were named as the matriarch of the black agriche, a title placed by the children you cared for. and quickly enough due to your past experience as lante trusted associate, you began to help raise the agriche from the ground and to a hopeful and brighter future. so you decided to burn agriche mansion to the ground and make it a new and better mansion.

❥ for a future where your children could make better memories in the new home you created for them. even as some of them stayed by your side or went on traveling around, you always made sure that they would have a home to come back to. but to them, you were their home. you accepted all of them as they are and cherished you for it. they would burn the world down if you asked them to.

That was for a few seconds, Till she started screaming about how she was going to make you her toy, Rambling on and on about how her sister would steal the pretty ones.

How she was going to keep you as her toy and her toy only!,That her sister couldn’t even steal you from her even if she wanted too, But compared to you she was tiny, And you were taller then the girl by a lot.

So unless she somehow knew how to capture you, You took her words as mere jokes and walked away leaving the red haired girl mad and causing a tantrum.

You were here for one thing, That was to see the head of the family, As people have told you, You couldn’t possibly ruin someone who hasn’t felt love in his entire life, So how about ruining his life by giving him love?.

Okay, so your father was a business partner of Lant’s and Lant had been close with your father.

Sierra was walking by when you tiny self just flung onto her, you most likely screamed “Mommy!!”, taking Sierra by surprise.

She just thought you were so cute and missed her own babies so she picked you up and hugged you. There were definitely tears in her eyes as she hugged you tightly.

Well, Lant’s problem was solved. From now on Sierra would raise you.

He spoke to Sierra about raising you to be a true Agriche and she agreed.

Sierra was really loving and constantly dotted on you

Probably a few days in you met Maria, Sierra’s wife and Maria ADORED you.

It's canon that Maria likes pretty things and you were a very pretty kid so Maria also doted on you.

AAAAA okay, so I saw that your requests are open... (this is my first time requesting anything so im a bit nervous)

about your post with the lante x grandkid!reader, IT WAS SO GOOD, and yes, i totally understand the family's shock about lante doting on his grandkid. this is the same man who established that familial love is unnecessary, was it not?

we got lante's perspective of his grandkid... but what about the other family members? will they like the grandkid as well? or will they be indifferent / dislike them?

(this is a bit wordy im sorry ☠️)

how would the agriche family react to grandchild!reader being doted on by lant agriche? / headcanons, death, typical things you'd expect from a fic that's about the agriche family, gn!reader.

THE agriche's reactions are mixed, honestly, and they thought that dion having a child was enough of a shock, so to have grandchild!reader being doted on by the lante agriche would mean that the usual "balance" (or what was left of it) in the family would no doubt be thrown out the window.

there would most likely be more hatred and indifference than adoration when it comes to the grandchild, especially once they start taking on some of lante's traits as well, but some of the only people that i could see liking the grandchild no matter what would honestly be maria and sierra, as they most likely took on the role of a maternal figure in the grandkid's life since their mother died while giving birth.

roxana, as obvious as it is, would most likely resent the reader because of how doting lante is when it comes to them, especially since not only did they automatically gain lante's favor, but they also are the child of dion, her brother's murderer. however, she might open up to the reader and eventually get along with them if the reader doesn't exactly idolize the agriche head because of his actions, hell, she might even use the reader against lante.

jeremy's neutral when it comes to the grandchild, honestly, he probably never personally met the child more than twice on his own volition, since he would rather cling to his half sister than interact with some snotty baby. but there is a chance that he would have more encounters with the grandchild once they're around four to seven years old.

grizelda.. it's hard to say on whether or not she likes the kid, really, but the grandchild would most likely idolize her, and grizelda is at least a bit kinder at first when it comes to the kid, so the two of them would possibly be close, with the grandchild seeking out the older woman's attention or help.

however, charlotte hates you without any doubt. charlotte doesn't like you because of how easily you get lante's favor and attention, causing her to usually harass you without lante usually knowing, but she does bite back her tongue whenever there are other people present, however, she mellows out when she's older, and there's a slight chance for her to apologize! but don't get your hopes up, because she's stubborn as hell.

fontaine despises you, as you were not only lante's favorite in th family, but also because your birth reinforced dion's position on the top three candidates for being the future head of the agriche dukedom. hell, he isn't even above trying to get you killed, since all is fair in this household that didn't have any morals, no?

dion, your father, was indifferent towards you, he didn't really care for your mother, either, since it was an arranged marriage orchestrated by lante himself for his own benefit. sure, he may have taken care of you in his free time, but his emotional baggage and childhood trauma definitely wouldn't have made him a good father, most likely being emotionally neglectful, even if he sometimes doesn't mean to be distant.

The tests given to her were no mere tests. They were made out of complete danger due to the fact that it was expected of an Agriche to embrace danger as a friend. Poison was the most important test in these.

She was given multiple poisons that failed to register her into sickness, until today. She had gotten light headed and nearly fainted if it hadn't been for Dion who gave her a meaningful look that meant not to disappoint.

She didn't know how that worked, but the thought of disappointing her brother was an option that was not for her. If anything she wanted to prove her worth to him.

Days passed as they both grew older. Now that she was 16, Dion was more protective over her. He was practically with her everywhere. So if he were on missions she felt the relief of finally being able to relax and do stuff that she couldn't do when he was around.

Dion had been gone for a while. She wondered where he went, but if he didn't tell her it meant it was dangerous, but important to a degree. She did not question it. After all they were all given tasks to do.

Her own was no mere feat. Every Agriche child was tried every year to see which was on top. So far Dion was undefeated in their father's favor under him was their sister, Roxana. Then it was Name. Due to this she tried her absolute hardest to keep at her position, if not then they'd say she was nothing like her outstanding brother. This year she had planned on summoning a demon only for her plan to fail due to other people coming up with better ideas. Though she did think it'd be a good idea to scourge up a demon, although the many complications that'd bring are also very noticeable.

"My lady, your presence is requested in the hall." So they've found another person to meddle with. She gave a simple wave of her hand dismissing the messenger.

It seemed almost always that there has been a random guest in their household. One to be tortured so this was no different.

Putting on her most elegant dress, she stepped out of her room. To be met with the surprise of a certain someone awaiting her to come out of her chambers. "Isn't it rude to visit without the person's knowing, Jeremy?"

Jeremy Agriche. When Dion was not present, he was the one clinging to her. Personally she didn't mind, but really of all the people. She knew that he was closer with Roxana though perhaps because of her always occupied with Dion, they can never get to be as close. Dion didn't like her being with the insolent brat as he put him.

"Well, you were taking ages." Jeremy started, staring at her with a simple shrug. "And I've been here since the messenger came here so you can't tell me you didn't take long."

She hummed in defeat as she walked away from the male, who jerked forward after her. There was no conversation brought up. They were in the territory of gossiping servants who'll tell anything to their father if they dare say something. Jeremy passed glares around to those who dared stare at Name while Name did not care at all. She was too busy wondering what was so important to summon all of them here. Well not all since there was still Dion and him who were on missions and do not have the time to return for this.

Entering the hall, her optics met a sight of two others with their father, of course, sitting in his usual spot. So Roxana and Charlotte were summoned here too. How annoying. She honestly didn't mind Roxana, but Charlotte... She was a headache to mess with, not only so but whatever this is about will cause her to throw such a tantrum.

"Father." She mumbled, eyes shifting uncomfortably in his presence. Lant Agriche regarded with a nod of response which meant she could move away. Walking over to her siblings they awaited their father's command. Then it came.

A young male was brought over, clearly wounded as his golden eyes searched the room meeting her own. She looked away with no further movement. Looking towards her father with an inquiring look.

"He's the son of the insolent b*tch." Their father said with much satisfaction with himself. "I brought him to teach him a bit of a lesson." As expected from him she supposed.

"I see." Her voice forced itself to speak. How dreadful. The insolent bitch in question was none other than Rousseul Pedelian. So this person was the successor of the Pedelians. Dion had mentioned never to trust them. He looks pretty though. She cursed herself quietly. Shut up! You're not supposed to call your enemies pretty!

"This toy's gaze is quite rebellious, Father." Roxana said. Name now noticed that Roxana seemed to be eyeing him with interest.

"Until he is compliant keep him in the dungeons." With that the male was dragged away. Name bit her lip as she waited for permission to leave. Once that was given, she rushed to her room. Not caring if Jeremy called out for her.

That night, she took the initiative to sneak into the dungeons. "My lady-!" The knight said, face red at the sight of her it seemed. She placed a finger on her lips and the male grew quiet.

"Good. Could you give me your keys, hm?" Her eyes locked on the knight who shook his head saying he had orders. "You don't have them, do you?" This caused the knight to stop. How did she know? Roxana's scent was in the air.

Gritting her teeth, this meant she'd have to wait for her to leave much to her frustration. It seemed she didn't have to wait for long though for out she came. Concealing herself, she watched Roxana left.

She took the chance to enter while the knight was still unaware of the door's opened state. Entering the dungeons, she made her way to the Pedelian.

First thing she thought when she saw him was one thing. This was a bit too much. He was almost bleeding to death. Lifting his chin, she noticed the remains of the drugs dripping from his mouth. So Roxana had given him the antidote. Hm.

Suddenly she heard noises outside. Taking his hand, she gave him a little spark of her magic. That would help with the poison as well. Hopefully.

Leaving the room before getting caught, she found herself relieved. Why so? Why had she worried so much over an enemy? Grabbing her chest, she hit herself cursing. No emotions.

That was what Dion said, didn't he?

𖤝‌ after the incident with roxana's butterflies, charlotte despised the winged creatures even three years later. she's more cautious around them but she will have panic attacks should those red-colored butterflies come too near and she loathes that, seeing it as a weakness. and having a weakness in the agriche household means punishment or death. and she's an agriche, charlotte has to survive to make it here.

𖤝‌ charlotte's preference for weapons is her whips. and yes, she had named them. they were gifts from her father ( surprising, right? ) from his trip after she successfully tortured people in his stead. and she cherishes them. now she thinks the sentiments were useless but don't underestimate the girl and her whips. she can still knock people off their feet and place them under her easily.

𖤝‌ when younger, charlotte was much easier to manipulate out of all her siblings. because her mother spoiled her so much just so she can use her daughter to protect her when danger comes. eventually, charlotte was able to see past her mother's manipulation and break free from it. her father is nothing worth to her and her mother was just using her so isn't it fair if charlotte starts putting herself first?

𖤝‌ charlotte was also compared to roxana by her mother a lot because she was lante favorite daughter and a true agriche. she looked up to her older sister for all her accomplishments but deep down, she also resented her as she couldn't attain roxana achievements as her mother pressured her to. the constant comparison grew worse and after the butterfly incident, her feelings for the blonde went from bad to worse.

𖤝‌ charlotte used to hate her looks. she looked nothing like her father which her mother used to criticize a lot. and she wanted to please her mother a lot so she tried to resemble more of lante in terms of personality. though after charlotte left her mother's mind games behind, she learned to appreciate her emerald green eyes and fiery red hair. she may resemble her mother more here but she's starting to look at herself as just charlotte.

𖤝‌ charlotte holds grudges for a long time added to her anger issues and her prideful nature, it's a really bad mix. but after the house fell, she's learning how to work with her issues and try to be better. she's sixteen, of course, and she's gonna make mistakes and say things she won't be able to properly apologize for. but of there's one thing that makes it up for it, it's her persistence to be better. at least better than her parents.

𖤝‌ after the agriche manor fell, charlotte left the house and decided to become free of her family's wretched name. yes, she grew up as a standard agriche but as she grew older, she learned more about the world around her. and that came with a longing to experience it. and when the time came, charlotte escaped the manor with the money she obtained and jewelry she had 'borrowed' from her mother. she doesn't regret it. after all, her name means free and that's what she will be.

The black haired boy slightly whined when his significant other moved from his hold, due to being in the same position for almost half an hour.

“Jeremy please let me move” y/n whined, shaking Jeremys body of off theirs , even though it was cold as hell due to not having his body warmth on you anymore.

Being cold was better then having the tall male hug you as if your his plushie, “but your the one that asked for it..” he mumbled even more, returning to his original position of trapping his body with yours.

“Your freezing, I’m sure you wouldn’t want you oh so nice boyfriend to stop” he added on, “yeah!, but you’re crushing me into the pillow, and you keep stealing the blanket!” You argued.

Jeremy dismissed what y/n said and hugged them even tighter before nestling his head between their neck and shoulder, “go to sleep, if you keep arguing you’ll get even more sicker tomorrow” he smiled.

“And we both know I won’t be able to keep you warm during the day” he added on with a smile, “so that means you’ll go to sleep like the obedient person you are”

You went up to her and complimented the young woman with her work as she smirked. You were Y/n Agriche, Roxana’s half sister and the most beautiful woman in the entire mansion. Roxana had adored you from the start because of your caring, affectionate yet intimidating and sadistic personality. It was just balanced out so perfectly, you were the perfect balance between good and evil. Jeremy had admired you from afar but never made any effort to speak to you, which was fine. You were not interested in a siscon brat anyway. ( I'M SO SORRY FOR THIS BUT THIS IS JUST THE READER’S PERSONALITY ) Dion had blushed, whenever you had been around but that was just creepy, he followed you around but once again never talked to you. Fountaine however was a whole different story not only did he have the courage to speak to you, he would also shamelessly flirt and catcall you. He was even worse than Dion Agriche. Watching from the corner of his eye as you danced, oh you were so flexible… you know the kind of things he could do with you? He could have you underneath him begging to fill you up but that was just his disgusting fantasy. You wouldn't even look his way in reality. Expressing your disgust with a scoff whenever he was around but today in particular he decided to get a little handsy, he placed his right hand on your chest and left hand on your exposed thigh because your dress was a thigh slit dress. He was standing behind you, body to body, the only thing in his way were the clothes. You felt absolutely disgusted and threw a jeweled dagger his way, stabbing his shoulder.

“This is a warning, Sir Fountain i’m a respectful woman so don’t let this happen again,” Y/n threatened

Meanwhile Grizelda who was walking by took an interest in the evil beauty,

“My~ y/n you truly are even more beautiful than what people describe you,” Grizelda sighed admiring you

“Thank you, I truly admire your eyes, they remind me of roses,” Y/n smiled, making eye contact

“Hmm.. Y/n would you care to join me for tea? Perhaps we could talk about that new novel that came out or some gossip going around in the mansion?” Grizelda asked

“Of course sister, I'll bring your gift first,” Y/n motioned for the maid to go get a gift from the pile she kept in her room just in case she was invited to a party out of nowhere.

The maid came back holding a dress pin of a gold beetle studded with rubies, it was a very beautiful piece. Y/n handed it to Grizelda and both girls made their way into the garden

“Giving me a gift like that out of nowhere~ hmm.. Now I have nothing to give you Y/n,” Grizelda sighed and you could smell her fresh minty scent.

“No need to worry about that Grizelda, after all you were the one that invited me,” Y/n huffed taking a seat

“By that new novel series, did you mean the novel ‘Lady Olivia’s dark secret’?” Y/n asked

Grizelda nodded, “Yes, that series is so well written! I love horror books and that series has to be my favorite,” Grizelda exclaimed blowing on her tea

“Ohhhh, that's my favorite series as well! I especially loved the part where she found the victim in a loose floorboard dismembered under the staircase,” Y/n blew on her tea as well

“Right?? Those books give me so many wonderful ideas~” Grizelda laughed sadistically

“Hmm..perhaps we should try some of them out on a servant?” Y/n inquired sweetly

“That's a wonderful idea, not only are you a beauty but you are also incredibly intelligent!” Grizelda laughed

“You flatter me too much,” Y/n blushed ( ITS PLATONIC )

“Nonsense, I never flatter anyone,” Grizelda sighed

“Have you heard that Lady Maria had a crush on Miss Sierra?” Y/n giggled

“What? Is that why they are always together?? How cute!!” Grizelda giggled

“Yes, I saw lady Maria kiss lady Sierra very close to her lips the other day!!” Y/n squealed

“Whatttttt??? I want to know what father thinks of thisss~~ hehe~~” Grizelda whispered

“He thinks they are just really good ‘friends’,”Y/n swatted her hands

“They were very fruity from the start! There isn’t any way that they aren’t in love with each other!!” Grizelda exclaimed

The tea the girls had in their hands had now been abandoned, while they took a walk around the garden whispering gossip from around the mansion into each other’s ears and giggling like schoolgirls with a crush.

Eventually it had gotten dark and both girls had to go back, exchanging a hug both girls left reluctantly. They were definitely SOUL SISTERS.

The next morning Grizelda had come over to greet y/n, when she saw a young woman fast asleep covered in silk sheets. She opened the blinds and shook y/n awake.

“There's DRAMA~ in the living room~~” Grizelda laughed

This made Y/n shoot up from bed and change into a gown within the span of a minute as she made her way into the living room.

Grizelda and Y/n noticed a young teenage red haired girl fighting with another purple haired boy around her age. Y/n and Grizelda took a seat by the couch to watch how this would go down and sure enough, Charlotte won.

“Congratulations darling, you are a true Agriche~” Y/n cooed

“You played it out well, just control you anger a little dear~” Grizelda smiled

It felt good to be praised and recognized for your effort,

“You are an Agriche right miss, how come I have never seen you around?” Charlotte asked y/n

“Uhm, you most likely have seen me around, I just usually wear a mask because I don’t like meeting Fountaine,” Y/n said sheepishly

“Hmm that's understandable, I hate everyone here!” Charlotte grumbles

“Evennnn meeeeee?” Y/n asked

“Yeah even you,” Charlotte said

What a tsundere, honestly

“We were going to the market to get accessories, want to come along?” Grizelda asked Charlotte

“Eh? Me? Why?” Charlotte asked

“Because you might like something too,” Y/n said

“Okay…” Charlotte said

“Great!!” Y/n exclaimed as Y/n and Grizelda grabbed each of Charlotte’s hands and ran towards the Carriage

Meanwhile Roxana couldn’t help but feel upset that Y/n hadn’t visited her in days, because she was always with Grizelda or Charlotte.

so basically just setting hcs. these are headcanons about the world of twtptflob. they are not canon. new fans or old fans, please don't take my word and accept these as canon.

all five houses have a special little something

incase war between the houses break out

we know the house of agriche have a specialty of murder and stuff

but the house of pedelian specializes in this specific branch of magic that attacks a person's body systems

yeah... they might know how to heal but they sure know how to kill

the house of vertium has its puppets

these puppets are very... intriguing

they're people whose will has been drained out of their minds, making them brainless and hopelessly blank

so they have no choice but to be a marionette on strings

the house of gastor has these swords with herculean strength

and don't you think that's lame because they've beat ass with those

and lastly, the house of fipelion (1) has their beasts

beautiful and majestic, but deadly

from wolves to dragons, they've got it covered

obviously, war between such powerful houses would be devastating

like they care

anyways, onto the structure of their society

their society is rigidly sexist

i mean, we see it through the eyes of roxana, who is favored by lant

but pay attention to any other woman, even if it's in agriche, and you'll see the misogyny

like grizelda and charlotte, both pushed down and forced to use their skills for lant

hell, even roxana is a victim of it — she can't use her butterflies unless a male member of the house, lant or dion or whoever, allows her

she doesn't care and does it in secret anyways, but she literally would be killed for defying lant if she was ever to be found out

it just goes to show you

sierra is one of the biggest examples — she's nothing more than a very pretty possession or a beautiful little pet; first for lant and then for maria

even though sierra (these are my hcs) is very intelligent and incredibly well read, she's not at all able to exercise any of her knowledge,

because lant's wives have literally next to zero power — but that's a topic for another day (agriche hcs)

but... you wanna know *the* biggest example?

sylvia. sylvia pedelian, hands down, suffers constantly at the hand of misogyny

in her og life, she was an ideal little daughter and a lovely sex object for the male leads,

and in her next life, nothing changed — everywhere she goes, she's not known as the girl who mastered pedelian's technique faster than their heir —

she's just known as her father's daughter or her brother's sister

cassis does try to defend her, but their father shuts him down, reminding him of how oh-so defenseless, innocent and naive sylvia is

sigh... back to court matters

murdering someone depends on who it was, and why you did it

for house of agriche... man they don't care, commit arson for all you want, they'll literally not give a damn

for agriche, it doesn't matter who it was or why you did it,

they'll just murder you, because why not

they don't care for the departed person, they just wanna dish out punishment, especially if the person killed was from their own house assuming you're strong enough to even harm an agriche, let alone kill them

house of pedelian lets you off or punishes you depending on the reasoning

and since they're the house of justice and all that, they're very fair with this

if you killed one of their own house, or a helpless one like a child, they will punish you

but if the person you killed was a bother, like a genuine bother who was threatening you etc etc,

they'll let you off

house of vertium doesn't care either. and unlike the agriche they're chill with it. they won't kill you either. they're just like: 'oh you killed my son? cool, what's for dinner?'

same with house of fipelion (i literally know nothing abt them), except house of fipelion might send a beast or two after you if it was a member of their house

house of gastor basically just imprisons you and lets you out after a while, depending on who and why

it's basically like historical jail

they have a conference hall where the current heads, along with their heirs, meet to discuss 'important matters' — like finances, defence, for all their collective territories and for walbusta (2), etc

literally, they do nothing but argue

especially rischel and cassis with lant and dion

the other houses are so done with them

court fashion is fickle, and if you're not caught up with it, the nobles, especially noble ladies, tear you to shreds

sylvia and roxana are constantly compared on who's more beautiful, but they're not even aware of it — roxana avoids sylvia anyways we know why

marriage...

obviously, no pedelian is allowed to marry an agriche, and vice versa cassis and roxana in the corner:

but other than that, marriage is allowed between the houses,

and some houses used to commit inter-family marriages *cough* agriche *cough*

they only stopped because it was causing deformities in their kids, and they couldn't possibly have imperfect kids!

by far the agriche aren't even the most messed up family. i wonder what house of fipelion is hiding?

(1) i have no idea what the official name of the white family is. if you know then please tell 🫶

(2) it's the place where they have their ball thing. i forgot its proper name and was way way too lazy to check it.
