______________________________________
As the moon shone done gently across silent streets, you made yourself ready. It was almost midnight and the full moon climbed higher and higher in the firmament. You were out to harvest a very special flower: Crystallunar flowers. They only bloomed beneath the sixth full moon of a leap year. Never on the same place twice. They could heal a great deal of illnesses. But you had found the place where they would bloom...your local cementery.
To be honest, it felt a tad weird to you to walk out at midnight to harvest flowers at the cementery. However you knew the value of the crystallunar flowers were greate than a short moment of discomfort and akwardness.
You slipped through the night, nobody was outside, the houses you passed were dark. Nobody else was still awake. Only the stars and the moon acompanied you in this night.
After a brisk walk you reached the iron gate, it opened without a sound. Gladly the moon was bright enough so didn't need a lantern. Even quicker you reached the field of the flowers, taking out your sickle to harvest them. The moonlight were reflected by the metalic surface of the petals.
What you didn't realise was that you were watched. A pair of silver eyes followed your form as you sat in the midst of the flower field. He had only seen you once before. He, Lord Desmond Drakaron, gazed upon you when you rushed to aid a sick person in the middle of the night. Now, he saw you again....and if he learned something in his long long live....than that there were no coincedences.
You intrigued him, that was dangerous. His steps were silent as he walked closer. The breeze that caressed the flowers and you brought your scent to him....cool herbs and something else. Something welcoming, something...something else that he needed to have. Desmond licked his fangs. He took a step forward and your gaze snapped to him.
You froze in your movement and looked at the man infront of you. Who was he? Where did he come from? So many question filled your mind at one.
Desmonds undead heart qould race if it could. The thoughts of having a pretty meal vanished. Only one thought filled his mind: Mine. That look in your warery grey eyes, those plump lips, the blush on your cheeks.... Desmond studieren with the desire to have you. The desire got so overwhelming that he quickly walked away into the dark and vanished.
But he was determiend to meet you again.

The Queen Is Dead
The Smiths
1989
The album talks mostly about the band's experience, and how dealing with fame was difficult for them. The album has a more mature outlook since the lyrics show a vast amount of reflection in most songs, and there is a concern for one’s wellbeing that wasn't present in their songs in their earliest albums. The album contains a lot of experimentation in general, but this is most noticeable in the vocals, where Morrisey, the vocalist, starts using more harmonies and voice effects. The album was mainly influenced by The Velvet Underground and The Stooges
My Rank:
There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
Frankly Mr.Shankly
The Boy With The Thorn On His Side
Vicar In A Tutu
Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others
Cementery Gates
Bigmouth Strikes Again
The Queen Is Dead
Never Had One Ever
I Know Its Over

*they dead stare at you for a solid minute*
n,,,not your,, cementery to be exact
also i think youre gonna need a new door-
A new door? What new door? You mean- DID YOU BURN DOWN THE DOOR TO MY ROOM!?
[For context, Bob's room is a tiny open field with an open grave in the middle that says BOB. Inside the grave leads to the outside of the cemetery and you have to enter the gate to get into the cemetery.]

UNDERGROUND CEMENTERY NAGCARLAN LAGUNA
Tumblr media
The Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery is a historic and cultural landmark located in the town of Nagcarlan, Laguna, Philippines. Built during the Spanish colonial era, it served as a final resting place for nobles and members of religious orders. It is believed that the cemetery was built around the year 1845.
Exploring Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery
From the outside, the archaic and fascinating facade of Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery will really catch your attention. The not-so-high stone walls are decorated by red bricks and iron windows. The striking arched gate will remind you of Fort Santiago in Manila.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Visiting the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery makes for an interesting and informative experience. Guided tours are available, which provide a historical overview of the site and its significance. Visitors can explore the corridors and chambers of the underground cemetery, and learn about the different burial plots and the people who are buried there.
In addition to its historical and cultural significance, the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery has also become a popular tourist attraction. It is particularly a favorite destination during the Halloween season when visitors come to explore its eerie and spooky ambiance. Rumors have it that the cemetery is haunted by spirits and ghosts which make it worth the experience for travelers looking for adventure.
Tumblr media
Exploring Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery is like being transported back in time. It is a unique and interesting place to visit not only in the province of Laguna but in the country as well. It’s good to see how the entire location is being preserved as it is. Even the tombs look like they are not being touched or altered.
Don’t miss Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery when going on a Laguna road trip. If its stunning brick facade and walls do not intrigue you, I don’t know what will.

The Cemetery of Consolation is the oldest necropolis still in operation in the city of São Paulo (the largest and most important city in Latin America), and one of the main references of Brazil in the area of the tomb art. Located in the district of Consolação, central region of the city of São Paulo, it was founded on July 10, 1858 and officially inaugurated on August 15 of that same year with the name of Municipal Cemetery, covering an area of 76,340 square meters.
Its main purpose at the time was to ensure sanitation and avoid epidemics, since it would replace the recurring habit of burying the dead in the interiors of the churches. The Consolação Cemetery is one of the 22 public cemeteries administered by the Funeral Service of the Municipality of São Paulo.
With the prosperity of the coffee-growing aristocracy and the emergence of an expressive bourgeoisie in São Paulo, the Cementery of Consolation began to house works of art produced by renowned sculptors that served to decorate the deposits of important personalities in Brazilian history. The cemetery has in its area a leafy and tranquil environment, opposite the bustling street of the same name. The ambience features three hundred sculptures and works by important artists such as Victor Brecheret and the architect Ramos de Azevedo, who designed the monumental gate of the cemetery.
The site houses a large number of graves of well-known figures, as well as personalities from the history of São Paulo, such as Tarsila do Amaral (painter), Mário de Andrade (writer), Monteiro Lobato (José Bento Renato Monteiro Lobato was a writer, and Ramos de Azevedo (architect), Marquesa de Santos (Domitila de Castro Canto e Mello, Marquesa de Santos, was a Brazilian nobleman, lover of Dom Pedro I, emperor of Brazil, who conferred on him the noble title of Marchioness on October 12, 1826.), and Libero Badarò (Libero Badarò was a journalist, politician and Italian physician residing in Brazil). In addition to the monumental mausoleum of the Matarazzo family (I have already posted this mausoleum here), considered the largest in South America, reaching a height of approximately a three-story building.
The cemetery maintains guided tours, through prior scheduling, through the project Arte tumular, which is coordinated by the administration of the cemetery. These visits are intended to understand the history of the cemetery, the works of art, meeting people and families buried there.

santiago de chile gothic
as you pass by la moneda palace, you catch a glimpse of the palace guard. you cannot see their eyes, but you do notice the faint cracks on their grayish complexion, body still rigid. now that you thought about it, you’ve seen the same carabiniers standing in front of the palace for fifteen years now.
today, the santiago metro is emptier than usual. the only one in the wagon aside from you is a shadowy figure your eyes cannot grasp at all. you should’ve arrived to baquedano in an hour, but when you check your phone, you realize you’ve been travelling in metro for a whole day.
every single boy you’ve met is named ignacio, and every single girl you’ve met is named camila. you don’t know any other names that aren’t ignacio or camila. those are the only given names in existence.
a stray dog in a dirty coat approaches you, supposedly so it sniff your sopaipilla. you’ve given it half of it, if you hadn’t stared into its eyes and discovered its true intetions. you run.
the bronze o’higgnis statue’s eyes follows you as you pass by it.
northern santiago and southern santiago are so different that it feels as if you had just crossed dimensions.
when there’s a football match, half the town dissapears into the gates of the estado nacional. nobody ever leaves the stadium again, and their last words they said before dissapearing were: “¡viva chile, mierda!”
weón is a word you grew up with, everyone grew up with it and it’s almost as an unspoken custom to mention it. nobody knows what it means, whoever, and there isn’t any actual records of it anywhere. and yet, somehow, you were born knowing how to pronounce it and to spell it.
the los andes mountain range is always moving. always watching over the town. what is it thinking, exactly?
even though you weren’t born before 1999, somehow, you still feel the shadow of augusto pinochet on the city. crushing it, the painful reminder of bloody times. somehow, you have vivid recollections of the dictatorship.
you went to the general cementery. even though it was a hot day in the middle of december, the moment you put a foot on the graveyard you felt like your bones were freezing little by little.
on the week of september the 18th, the fonds are absolutely empty. and even still, you can hear faint cuecas and kites flying on the sky.
