Audiodrama Sunday, OK let’s get this in before recording time.
Amelia Project: THOSE PIRATE ACCENTS and damn that was a haunting glass harmonica episode right there. The music in this series is consistently excellent. Loved the little snatch of Mozart from the Interviewer as well.
R.E. Dracula: Chaos energy casting of the Demeter Captain has already launched a thousand ships by which I mean TMA-based tumblr memes.
Ethics Town: be like "Hey did Episode 3 upset you? strap in for Episode 4 lol".
I have been speed-binging WOE.BEGONE after some feral woebegoblins insisted I give it another try. This was an Experience. No, I will not elaborate.
Wake of Corrosion and CellarLetters have both decided to choose Season Finale Cliffhanger Violence, thank you gentlemen, I look forward to worrying about your characters for the next <insert amount of time here>,

Audio drama sunday!
Crossposted from twitter as usual. None next week as I will be in a field encouraging war crimes sorry I mean VIRTUE at LARP.
I am part way through and would like to congratulate @theheartpyre on the clever harem anime bait and switch. "Aha!" I thought "The YA protagonist will now have to choose between the mischievous rogue and the sarky military man…..wait….no, never mind the rogue and the military guy are flirting with each other..."
First episode of Surcease is intriguing. Also looking forward to more tales from this totally not sus psychiatric health facility which clearly has no dark secrets or anything.
Caught up on the Cellar Letters, spent E53 like "Jamie so help me if you leave Bella in that house ALONE…oh thank goodness." I'm still really very worried about that dog.
Went through of @chainofbeing for reasons. Wow. I was not expecting a sprawling epic Dune-but-queerer anime-vibes religious space opera. Looking forward to more of this. Have a good week everyone!

Okay so I’m back on my bullshit I’m not done talking about Cellar Letters
I did mention how I found the podcast through “Nine to Midnight” in the first place
And I can not put into words the sheer glee and how huge my grin was that Harlan Guthrie is voicing a police officer, I was actually considering to pause, go back to Malevolent, and reference whether he used the same/ similar “officer voice”
I’m weird, I know
Anyway, love it
And the shenanigans of Nate confessing and the officer going “let me just find a place to turn this car around” I almost fell off my stool laughing
And. AND. Reason I’m typing this post now

I’m… snort-laughing, yup
No but seriously, even without these details Cellar Letters is an awesome podcast and despite the difficulties understanding season 1 I’m so so glad I stayed
I haven’t the foggiest what the fuck is currently going on, like, why things are happening to Nate
But things are indeed very much happening and I’m along for the ride!
Y’all I did the excited autistic clapping thingy when Officer John said he’s going to help Nate researching and looking into stuff, I had hoped the officer would stay a side character and not just a random one-off
I’m happy I ditched my Storage Papers re-listen (aka catching up again) to give Cellar Letters a shot, although yes I did clown on the concept similarity

The first audiodrama I ever listened to was The Magnus Archives. It's what got me interested in the whole medium. If The Magnus Archives didn't exist, I probably never would have made my show.
When Rusty Quill contacted me to join their network I was at work and I dropped everything I was doing and, very discreetly, cried a little bit. Not a lot... but enough.
Fast forward a bit later and they ask the network members if they would be interested in writing for The Magnus Protocol.
I was excited but also completely and utterly terrified. I am well aware that my brand of horror is not for everybody. People will hate it! My anxiety almost made me turn it down. But I couldn't say no.
Working on The Magnus Protocol was a dream come true. I am now officially part of the universe that got me into the industry in the first place. Thank you so much Alexander Newell, Jonathan Sims and the rest of the team at Rusty Quill for the incredible opportunity.
