Casino Royale    [trailer]
After earning 00 status and a licence to kill, secret agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. He must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker.
Looking back now, it's hard to remember the uproar and axiety because of the casting a blond and blue-eyed Bond that dominated the news before the first trailer came out and blew everyone away.
The opening action scene on the constraction site with the parkour chase is still insane. I remember getting sweaty palms when seeing it at the theatre back then.
The birth of Bond with a personal life. A great start, not at least thanks to Eva Green. I just have to avoid thinking about how it all ended fifteen years later.
The ... tension between Craig and Mikkelsen is hard to ignore. Though I still regret the way the movie casually introduced torture to a mainstream blockbuster film.
