Hello folks!

As of today, July 7th 2023, it has been 82 days since 'The DEATH of LUNAR in VRCHAT' episode (April 17th, 2023), and 72 days since the 'Lunar's RESSURECTION in VRCHAT' (April 27th, 2023) episode. 2 and a half months.

Today in the Monty Gator and Foxy show, Puppet finally launched a rocket and began his journey out to Monty's space station to retrieve him.

Lunar's return is imminent. LEts GOOOOOOO

#i just feel dreadful! yay :/#for no apparent reason!#i cant really explain it either it's just a crushing sense of depression woot #but ive like. looked at the slightly significant purchases i want to make and discovered they fall into three categories #the Amazon Haul (books mostly) the Strange Planet Haul (tshirts and stickers and pins oh my) the Amira Haul (completing my collection of #her albums. shipping is flat rate but insane so i will only get Many at one time and hence ive been waiting over a year since her most #recent CD came out and ive only heard one track from it.)#so i have decided i need to do a spot of calculating and figure out prices idk #i cannot budget for the life of me so i usually just don't buy things.#but when i reach a fortnight free of self harm (currently just shy of three days. the highest ive reached so far is six) i will pick one of #the hauls and purchase it as a reward. is this foolish? who knows #does any of this make sense? who knows. it is what is passing through my brain #i mean idk what the chances of breaking my streak this evening are really but id say at this point pretty high #tho ransom does help. enormously.#tw sh #catkin rambles #puddleglum hours

Man it's genuinely like so nice to have these week to week shows. I have a hard time getting into stuff (always have) and I feel like the Whole Season Streaming Drops have only made this harder. I like having shit to look forward to, yanno? Slow burns being slow, time for theorizing between episodes, fandoms actually having time to form. Good shit.

Apparently it's time to feel nostalgic towards some of my more obscure childhood book series which never got fully translated (so I haven't been able to get my hands on the rest either)

#childhood being a relative term #I mean I was in high school when I read the first two books of the fairyland series #but also it's been ~15 years since ingo ended...#the thing about that that sends me on a loop is that I remember having to actually wait for the fourth book #and that I had grown up enough in between that while I might have hoped for Sapphire and Faro to get romantically together in the beginning #by the fourth book I was dreading it and was so happy that it never went there #and like #the third book was translated in 2008 and the fourth in 2009 #so at MOST I waited ~a year #BUT I also still have the purchase receipts for my own copies and I simply cannot remember if I read them from the library first #(the receipts are barely legible at this point)#and if I didn't then I began the series only in the january of 2009 #only four months before I purchased the fourth book (which I do remember having gotten right away as it came out)#man time worked in such a different way as a child #musings
