Jinx’s Self Awareness

One thing that I love about Jinx, is how self aware she is about her being damaged. How she has stopped being the sweet baby sister Vi used to know her as. How she knows that the reason she and Ekko are now enemies not just because she chose Silco over their friendship, but how she willing killed and tortured countless of people, something he nor Vi wouldn’t believe Powder would EVER do.

“I thought, maybe you could love me like you used to. Even though I am.. different.”

And it’s like she is ashamed of this fact. Deep down she hates that she has become the very person Vi has come to fear and Ekko to despise. And she wants to go back to the “better days” , when before she believed she fucked things up for everyone. But she can’t help being Jinx because this is how she grew up as after all these years. How the person who truly understood her trauma expects her to be. And to be who they loved her as is too painful for her and the guilt would swallow her entirely.

As you can see, someone got really into The Sandman series lately…. Can’t wait for season two!

It was so painfully crucial that Percy was the one to see the fates cut the string. The whole POINT of it was that they hadn’t met yet and they were connected. Percy is the one to realize Luke is the traitor, Percy is Luke’s counterpart on the opposing side. Luke is everything Percy would have been if not for Percy’s undying loyalty to his friends. Percy hates the gods, but he would NEVER betray his friends the way that Luke does. Yes, Annabeth and Luke were closer. But It was Percy that he directly betrayed, Percy that hands him the dagger that takes his life. Percy not seeing the fates loses such an important and deep part of the story that’s now lost in the show. I love the show with my heart but I’ll never get over that little detail

Just finished season one of this great show ! Martin is magnificent in it ! I already knew he was a good actor but man, in this he is more than good !

I had tried to watch StartUp and didn’t like it, even though he was good in it too … but I couldn’t see him playing a bad guy …
