Bio:

Born in Birmingham in 1945 Robert "Bell" Watson was the son of two ordinary citizens (his father ran a bakery and his mother was a housewife).

Always passionate about politics, Robert had always dreamed of wanting a world without injustice, so he decided to study and at 18 he joined MI6 thanks to Helen's father, a customer of his father's bakery. With many sacrifices he managed to make a name for himself within the agency at the young age of 22 and in 68 he was recruited by Russell Adler to participate in the capture of Perseus in Vietnam. Two years later he met Helen and started a clandestine relationship with her, until the birth in 1972 of Anna, their first and only daughter.

In 1986, during an infiltration mission in an Iranian base, Robert sacrificed his life to save the team, leaving Helen with his daughter Anna, who was 14 years old at the time.

Adler rolled his eyes behind his shades, but smirked.

“You done with the bullshit?”

Sims shrugged.

“Depends. How much time we got before we go?” Adler glanced at his watch. He’d done the best job he could on about three hours sleep; got the plane, got the loadout, got his team of two. He just needed the location.

“I’ve got one more job to do, then I'll call you. Here.”

He gave Sims the cell that had been poking him in the hip the whole time they’d been sitting.

“That's the only way I’ll communicate. I’ll ring twice then ring again. Anyone else isn’t a friend and you pretend you never saw me here.”

“Really that serious?”

“If this is the set-up I think it is, then yes.”

At least they were bringing an arsenal; they had a chance of surviving it. Unlike her. His chest tightened slightly and he lit another smoke without even finishing the first one.

But he was driving so fast back to Langley he didn’t even stop for a fresh pack.

I just realized something...

Bell's nickname is in reference to Pavlov's dog.

"We've got a job to do" is Adler's bell... which is why Bell automatically followed orders at first.
