hello tumblr! currently in search of an active, OOC friendly rp partner to write some stranger things with! i'm a 23 yo girl in EST, but as long as you're 18+ i don't mind anything else!

currently hoping to write eddie against steve (gimme gimme gimme) OR someone's OC, which at that point can be m/f or m/m

also searching to write will against mike, or an OC. charas can be aged up, no worries there!

general notes

i write over discord and prefer a server so that we can share inspo, headcanons, and OOC chatter!

3rd person, past tense, semi to advanced lit, active daily (but no huge pressure on replies because OOC is just as fun) and NSFW friendly

i have little to no triggers, so throw your wildest ideas at me and we can see if it's a vibe

Text rp prompts survive on timeskips, no matter how big or small!

Have you ever wanted to start a roleplay but you just don't have enough time to crank out the replies that are needed? Or you start a roleplay that you adore, but the piles of paragraphs end up burning you out faster and faster? These things are what have put me off from roleplaying for years, but now since omegle is banning people for skipping chats, I'm bringing the fight back to ol'reliable.

For anyone who doesn't know, text rps are for roleplays that take place entirely though text format. The exact reason for that varies between texting, magical notes, mental communication, or just purely for convenience. Whatever the time period calls for. Could also be called script rp.

The way the format works is that you type your character's line of dialogue, then end it with your character's initials.

(johnlock) ex:

(From me) Tell your friend to leave. SH

(From you) Excuse me? JW

Surely you can read. Send him off. SH

And why would I do that. JW

This can lead to rapid fire responses and a much longer rp life. But all roleplays depend on good prompts with a long lifespan, and that's something we can work on together! I also have a few ideas. The bolden characters are the ones that you would play! Some are general ideas, some are full blown prompts! Interact w post and see!

In 1986, there was a string of murders that was thought to be the work of local "Satanist", Eddie Munson. The murders started with fellow classmate and Cheerleader Captain, Chrissy Cunningham. No body had been found. The last murder was that of the first victim's boyfriend, Jason Carver. Eddie Munson had completely disappeared and it was found that the murders were actually the work of Henry Creel. The son of Victor Creel who had disappeared in the 50s. Chrissy Cunningham and Eddie Munson were never found.

The year is now 2024, a group of teenagers involving Steve Harrington, Robin Buckly, Dustin Henderson, Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair and Max Mayfield follow their supernaturally gifted friends, Will Byers and Jane Hopper to the site where Jason Carver died. Chrissy Cunningham and Eddie Munson have finally been found. It appears Jane and Will aren't the first kids from Hawkins to develop supernatural gifts.

Looking for someone 18+ to roleplay this plot. Main ship is going to be Steddie with side Buckingham, Byler and possibly poly ship involving Max, Lucas and Jane. I'm also down to make Byler the main ship.

i'm open to playing both will or mike, it's basically up to you on who you're comfortable with writing :))

i'm mostly interested in non-upside down AUs/plots. i'm a sucker for college aus, fantasy (cleradin) aus, strangers to lovers, enemies to lovers, angst, angst and more angst. i'm also open to do anything ranging from 1960s to modern in terms of time period.

no bc the way i literally have so many byler scenes for season 5 planned in my head. no bc i have every scene planned up to the very canon and real byler kiss that will indeed be happening im duffer brother believe me. like for example i have an idea where like will and mike go get firewood or something and they just giggle and laugh and almost hold hands but mike gets flustered and stops himself.
