Khushi laid her head on Arnav’s shoulders, trying to fight a yawn as they watched a documentary on pigeons. Of course, it was his night to pick a film. The highlight of the movie was that pigeons mated for life. 

“Khushi?”

“Hmm.”

“I want to ask you something.”

“Yes, I am bored.”

Arnav tsked and muted the documentary. Khushi’s sleep fled. Arnav Singh Raizada’s tsk was not to be taken lightly. 

“Acha, puchiye.”

“Wouldn’t it have been better if we knew ki hum... that we’re going to end up together, hamesha ke liye?”

“Would you have smiled at me the minute you saw me?”

“No.”

“Phir, no.”

“Just because I wouldn't smile at you?”

“Yes, because now you always smile when you look at me.”

“I don’t-” Khushi looked at him. Arnav couldn't help but smile. Khushi smiled back and snuggled into his side. 

“And changing anything would change this and I don’t want that. Also, I was thinking that-”

“Thinking? You were just speaking.”

“I speak and think at the same time.”

“Ah, of course. Toh what were you thinking?”

“Ki aap bade woh ho,” 

“Woh matlab kya?” Arnav grinned.

“Kabootar!”

“What the!”

The next day, no one knew why Arnav flew into a fit when Aarav rescued and brought home a pigeon.

Hi PS! Hope you’re doing great. According to you, when did Mami fully start accepting Khushi? In one of your older posts you had mentioned that her view on Khushi started to change for the better when Arnav stood up for her against Dadi but she still seemed wary of her even during their remarriage. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you and have a great day!

I think the answer is right there in your question -- I think Mami started to accept Khushi when Arnav stood up for her against Dadi.

I don’t understand what you mean by “fully start accepting” -- fully implies that want to know when the process was complete, start implies you want to know when it started. You want to know when she wholeheartedly embarked on the process but don’t seem to agree with my opinion that it began with Arnav standing up to Dadi. That’s okay, we can have different views :) 

I don’t see it as contradictory that Mami wasn’t 100% onboard the Support KKGSR train all the time. These things aren’t a switch, they take time.

Kamlesh Khabri Strikes! Now, a Proficient Tumblr Journalist!

I, Kamlesh Khabri, take an oath to serve the latest, spiciest and truest gossips of the town - particularly about the Raizada family. No, I have not been sacked out of my job as a journalist by a complaint from a certain PR lawyer who had stated,

“His irresponsible news coverage led to my client’s wife to believe my client would murder her, motivate het to attempt suicide or that my client was hiding a secret, one of a bastard child, and that my client’s wife should attempt hypnosis instead of normal communication to find that out.”

And of course, I did not land a new job at Tumblr with a lifetime access of writing about the Raizadas without the threat of privacy violation on the grounds that I had been contacted by the said 'client’ (who shall not be named), nine years ago, on releasing and sensationalizing a sensitive footage of an accidental fall at a certain event which led to some very pleasing outcomes for the said client. 

And of course, I did not mention, that I was given the script and that I had clearly been crossed that the said client’s interest was innocent and this was a potentially damaging clip. Nor did I mention that I, with great dramatics, exposed the dowry scheming family of the said client’s interest’s about-to-be brother in law. 

Of course, my sudden immunity from any restraining order did not arrive from the gratitude of my said client’s interest (now wife)’s family. 

It was not mentioned that I had stopped my channel from writing or sensationalizing the said client’s sister’s divorce. I am glad that happened. No, not the divorce. Definitely not glad that the aristocratic, elegant, talented said client’s sister was single. Every woman should deserve dignity and only that son of a motherfu-- mother fearing pig of a husband should be pulled into dirt. A woman, one as impeccable as the said client’s sister, should only be respected for her strength. 

May I also say that I did not make a simple call to the said client’s wife (who was once the interest - the same person, let me remind you), which ensured that I get the exclusive coverage of the daily activities of the Raizada household.

So, if you’re ever interested about who’s hot and who’s hotter, the top ten lists for each of the family members and characters; such as ten times ASR made the perfect smolder, ten times the sexual tension between ASR and KKGSR burned our rooftops or 235,923 times Anjali Raizada pulled off ethnic wear - hit the ask button and let me know.

Hey PS! Hope you're doing well. Okay, so this has been long overdue. After months of silently stalking your blog, I gotta get this off my chest. I love love LOVE your blog. The textposts, fanfics, analyses, EVERYTHING. You are the reason why I started watching ipkknd (didn't pay much attention to it when it was being aired on TV, hell, I used to mock my sister for watching it. Well, joke's on me). I mean, my experience with tellywood wasn't great, watching those k-serials (ugh) as a 6 yr old kid

(2/3) kinda ruined telly soaps for me. But, dang, I didn’t realize what I was missing out. Arnav bitwa is 💞💘 still ship kkgsr with nk tho 🙈🙈#sorrynotsorry And, another thing. Can’t believe you have to deal with insensitive jerks making comments about your health. As someone dealing with a frustrating disease with no absolute cure, I can kinda understand what you must be going through. Stay strong! P.S sorry for making you read this long ass ask. LOL, I understand though, I used to make fun of my mother for watching serials and look at me now. It just shows that sometimes we all have to swallow our words!! Plus … and I know I am the most biased person here … but IPKKND is very special. It sort of stands apart.

Thanks for the understanding and well wishes :) When I sit down and think about it, I can tell that most of the odd messages come from people who are quite young or people who genuinely think that I should be more optimistic because it will all go away soon anyway (how?). But in the moment, it’s hard to extend that sort of empathy and understanding when clearly no effort was made to extend the same to me.

Helllloooo phati sari :) I have a question for u: would you rather be in love with Arnav but know he’ll never love you the way he loves Khushi, or be his bestfriend but not get along with Khushi in the slightest? Ur so great btw loving charade !!!!!!!!!

I’m really sorry to be a killjoy but ... neither?

I guess if I have to choose between those scenarios then I’d be his friend but not getting along with his wife would be The Most Awkward so that friendship would be doomed anyway. I would never fall in love with Arnav Singh Raizada, he’s … very different from what I look for in a partner.

I love IPK, and I love bitwa as a character, but in real life he’d be pretty horrifying human being (if you’re not family or KKGSR) and I’d rather not have anything to do with him. I’ve never been coy about this fact (which resulted, memorably, in the Fortnight of PS is Not A Real Fan).

Khushi, though, I’d be friends with in real life, until the first time she tried to sanctimoniously lecture at me, and then I’d drop her like a hot potato (mmm potatoes, I haven’t had lunch yet).
