Long-PSA-short of sorts that's more a vent: I was always aware my behavior and way of expressing myself online can surprise many people, especially if they are not used to someone who uses the writing medium as a playful form to tell emotions in a very descriptive way as I do. I'm quite affectionate with words, yes.
And I always beg people I hang with personally to let me know if some of that bothers them, curtly of course. So far there have been few instances of individuals confusing those signals with ulterior means, things I assure you there's nothing more than me being friendly and supportive.

Until the past week, I found myself being tackled by something that made me almost knock everything aside because it made me realize that probably I'm a walking trigger/squick inducer with even the way I wield words like "love" and "friendship".
Almost...
I'm pretty tolerant of whatever way people conduct themselves in this life, the only moment I flinch is when an individual assumes from my default behavior and presentation that I want to impose my way of life... And nopes.
This is simply how and who I am. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't search for conflict but for understanding.
My language for expressing marvel and reflections is like this, never to make the other feel awkward or attacked.
So, it upset me knowing that by wielding this forever welcoming and lovable disposition, I can be something to fear and even despite... to some people.
But, you know? That means that my "love" and "friendship" lifestyle are not made for you, no reason to come back to me and point at it. Just keep walking if you have only rage and rejection to give as a reply to my point of view.
Because by wielding rage and rejection, what you only do is burn bridges. To create conflict and assume imaginary antagonistic scenarios where there's nothing of that at all.
You can't create the world you wish to live in by burning bridges.
It took me a lot too to forge who I am right now. I even keep learning and chiseling through traumas and mistakes—kindness and patience taught me more than rage and rejection. And "love" and "friendship" are the bricks I chose to build those bridges. I know everyone else uses different concepts but in the end, we all build bridges.
By creating bridges and inviting others to do the same, I expand not only my world, but the other's too!
Isn't that better than demanding to be this or that through a black/white flag of rage and rejection? I think so. And I understand perfectly we sometimes need to be blunt when marking our boundaries. Still, never justifies treating the other bad.
And if some of you find "fake" or distasteful the way I wear this flag of "love" and "friendship" I'm sorry: this place will never be safe for you then. The exit door is always open. Go ahead.
I hope you find your place and flags out there too, but don't forget that to do that you need to build bridges.
If you don't want to call it "friendship" call it "glue" or whatever makes you comfortable, but don't kick people like me who fought with claws and teeth to reclaim those words and feelings.
Fight your fight by being a good example, not a bad experience that makes someone never want to deal with something like this again in their life.

#i stopped halfway thru HAJHAAJA#i think im coming 2 the conclusion that i can only rly appreciate stamp from an outside perspective#i.e when ppl post edits or whatever#even from like a Show Design standpoint i think the pacing is really bizarre#and im not even talking ab the story itself right. like moreso just character interactions and expressions#nothing really lingers or lasts and i feel like theres no big Oomph to scenes#when i saw the edit of knives fighting the guards it looked SOOO COOL#but when it happened in the show like.. the music wasnt rly fitting and theres a lack of environmental sfx outside of blood splats / metal#its soo hard to explain but somethinf is just MISSINGGG .. also when vash passed out for like .2 sexonds i laughed what was that#blink and u miss it kind of thing.. and vash losing his arm didnt feel suspenseful .. like i want to wnjoy the edits so much#*enjoy the reimagining#but you barely see luida (WAS THAT LUIDA FRR HWLP SHE LOOKS SO DIFFERENT)#you see hee for two seconds and suddenly this like monotone convo turns into omg vash angel arm WHAAT but u arent actually saying WHAAAT bc#u ddint have time to process anything and then its alr over . i just cant get into it im sry IM SRYY!!#and . i do generally just pref the structure of max and the intentional narrative choices w everything#the way knives cuts his arm off in anger in max vs like ‘to save himm❤️’ in stamp is much better @ characterizing him me thinks ..#overall i just think the manga had a better idea of what msg it wanted to convey whereas stamp is just a mixed grabbag of max references#trigun#trigun spoilers

#❛ ooc ( it’s hard to stand on both feet )#tbd //#ff7 rebirth spoilers //#i found it fun but underwhelming is probably my overall take#i like how they fleshed out characters/dynamics/lore#to the extent i never really liked tifa growing up because she felt kinda. mean and passive aggressive imo#but in remake it feels like they portrayed her how she was initially intended to come across#similarly to barret even#if they just took that same anger from the original and let her have some as a treat i think it'd have worked better though#im not a fan of dyne hating barret when he never blamed him in the og#or of cait sith not getting his pre death monologue alluding to his sentience#aerith's death shocked me because i didn't expect it but then?? is she even actually dead or is cloud just nuts#cloud's regression also felt a bit wonky and less believable but it's maybe just that he looks cringe talking like sephiroth#im glad tifa and cloud actually communicated to some extent in this game but im still waiting to see how he handles talking to zack#overall it's made me appreciate the vibes of the og more#i think there's still potential for the story but i wish they'd focus more on including elements of the og that fit the ff7 vibe#and on making characters playable..... than giving us infinite chadley tasks#the world is so big but it feels like it could've been a lot smaller and a lot more authentic#silverlining was cloud and zack gettin to fight together.. my boys#i'll still replay it but probably replay the og and remake first#and maybe 16#im also. still not fond of whatever they did to nanaki

#sriracha.txt#long post#i found a grey hair mod and. well.#i always knew she'd be at her most powerful when she was graying but i didn't expect to be so RIGHT#i was going to give up the sims 4 but now i must go cc hunting to attempt to make her outfit in 5 proper#i like to imagine she has this stupidly big square leather duster.. nero's got the short coat in 5 so Somebody has to hold down the front o#ridiculously long coats! anyways it's not even her coat - thus explaining the size - but like one of the staff's communal freezer coats#in my head it's this really nice like.. daark eggplant that almost looks brown but It's Ourple Ur Honor#and ofc she has the vermilion/orange/?? skirt 😤 which is funny because now that i'm thinking about it#her color scheme is saur spardalike. make of this what you will but i will be pretending it's on purpose :3c#anyways her outfits during 5 are really fun to think about because they're just a mishmash. her design is on the downwards slope from being#Ultra Polished to whatever is in arms reach... there's no time to think about what to wear when you've got a whole island to defend from#demons solo! #sorry rant incoming. you know like the people who got way too offended over dog earing or carving books for art or things like that?#that's what the notes section of that poll feel like. just way too many people (on both sides) putting way too much importance on Books.#like first you have the 'um ive read fanfic that was deep and beautiful and thematic so yes all fanfic is books' votes#which like. ok. ive also read really deep thematic screenplays but that doesnt make it a book its simply not. what a book is#then you have the honestly even worse 'um your reylo au isn't like the works of the masters its not REAL BOOKS' crowd#which like. yeah most actual published books are not as good as the 'works of the masters' whatever that means. so you have proven nothing#which brings us back to the absolute worst of all 'colleen hoover & co aren't books either' SOMEHOW#like. ok well i think her work is pretty bad but it was literally edited and published into literal books so#if you're going to decide that you get to be the arbiter of what books are Good Enough to count as Real Books well you've lost already.#because no that's not how any of this works. youre fighting one of the most famous Losing Battles in all of art discourse.#a book is just. a format that writing can be in its not some holy status you have to work to acheive#and to try and turn it into that is really stupid and self important i think because like again#who gets to decide what books are Real? what motivates them to make that choice? what biases are benefited from that?#i think its worth noting in conversations like this everyone wants to deny female romance authors the title of Real Book#(which yes a lot of those books are very shallow or badly written. many have outright offensive tropes)#but nobody mentions the equally shallow and offensive stuff by/for men. like william johnstone's shitty cowboy books for example.#no matter how you try to frame it youre going to lose the second you decide something has to fit your standards to be real art.#avpost#its very reminiscent for me of the conversation around modern art where people just want to say they know what is and isn't real art#based on like whatever standards they want.
