hello?

i went out again and once again didnt end up going home with someone! don't let that fool you, i still verbally harassed random men bc i was drunk and bored! however, it was spring break at the college town i live in so the bar was so dead. like there was a wedding going on and we were dressed for the bar...LMAO WE GOT TO MEET THE BRIDE THO! AND CONGRATULATE HER !

it started with me like not even wanting to go tho bc we didn't have a secure place to stay for the night (fr was going to sleep in our non tinted cars) and i didnt know anyone who could get us some cheap alcohol bc once again, its spring break so no one was on campus jfc. but we were like determined bc my friend sami was finally in town for a thirsty thursday so we needed to go out. so eventually, my other friend misa came through for us!! i completely forgot she has her own little shed house so she offered it up for us to stay in and then got her grandmother (?? hello?) to get us some four lokos! so off we went!

we arrived to the empty ass parking lot and got like nervous bc why the hell is it empty....where is everyone...but alas, we started to down our four lokos anyways. we get to the point where we feel tipsy, so we all head in and like as we're getting our id's checked and everything, we peak into the literally dead ass bar. bro what? so we get in and go straight to the bathroom and have to devise a plan bc wtf are we doing here. how are there grown ass adults sitting on the smoking porch, dressed to the nines eating and enjoying each other's company? where is sexxyred? where is gasolina? WHERE IS MR 305 MR WORLDWIDE???

ultimately, we decide as long as we are drunk enough, we can have fun anywhere so we run back to the car and start chugging out four lokos. as we do this, a car pulls up next to us that has two men in it!! what a coincidence! at this point, we are already tipsy and chatty and just getting more drunk by the sip. so ofc me and misa, frequent thirsty thursday attendees, want to go chat with them! i mean, by this point, they've gone inside and seen that its dead and come back. and now they're just sitting in their car, with the doors open might i add so its almost like an invite, smoking a cigarette!! that is catnap to a cat and i am just a little kitty cat. and they've obviously seen us like leaning over to see them and us laughing and just being foolish since my car has no tinting whatsoever. but miss sami is being all like "noo we can't do that we dont know them blah blah blah" but that is the point! cmon ma! so we go over there and im instantly like "haiii is that a cig?" and its two guys, one that looks like a 2019/2020 tiktok eboy like had the cross earring and everything, and then another guy that had long hair and just looked greasy but also like a fun gi. a fungi... anyways, they give us a whole cigarette and entertain us for like a whole 20 mins! we all just chat with each other and i end up showing them the super cool awesome bass i have in my shitty car. then, they leave and we are stuck to our own decision making. do we call it quits now and just uber home while we can, or do we go back in and see what the ferk is up! we go back in!

we go back in and its like less dead now so we feel a little better, but there's still like just an awkwardly not small, not large, sorta medium sized crowd in the middle of the floor with people actually sitting down at the high tables and stuff. so to the bathroom we go and hype ourselves back up. we chat with some girls, hit the carts and vapes and then go back out there! still really the only ppl giving like...thirsty thursday and not dive bar in the south but its alright bc atp we are like blasted and crossed and just dancing together on the outskirts of the random dance crowd. this is when we meet the aforementioned bride! she was wearing a bridal dress and everything and she even showed us her groom (not cute, she could do better but as long as mother is happy). and then, as we keep dancing, we spot a guy we used to go to highschool with! sami is the one who notices him and is like "omg is that so and so" and i was like "omg yeh...should i go say hi.." and she was like, ofc, "omg no!" but this one i sorta agreed with bc i actually didnt know him that well, i just knew of him bc he was sorta popular but also sorta not? but i also was in yearbook in highschool so i knew of everyone even if they didn't know of me LMAO. so we keep dancing and then somehow, we are beside him! so sami is finally like "ok now go say hi" and like a sleeper agent activated, i just turn and go say hi to the feller!

he actually is like cute and was way cuter when i was drunk bc he was taller than me, so i get him talking and bring in misa and sami and we all chat. and then his random ass sister comes up to us, probably drunk, and is like "ooohh isnt he so cute? isnt my brother so cute?? god hes sooo cute and soo single" so i got the message but also like, hey girl we are just talking and catching up and youre doing alot rn whats up! she seemed sweet tho and we ended up talking with her too but that was just a weird ass first impression of her. then sami is like "didnt u used to do the fortnite dance all the time?" and he was all like "pshh no what i dont even...i dont even know how to" knowing full damn well that he knew how to fortnite dance. so we pull up a youtube video for him and he gets on stage and fortnite dances for us! so kawaii!! and he also tried to get the dj to play no hands but mr waka flaka like three times but he just kept playing some country ass shit every other song so we go to leave! our plan was to uber back to misa's shed house, but then the bouncer is like "uber doesn't run this late." what! what do now! we think and think and our new found friend is still with us and he's like "im taking my sister and her friends home." and then sami has the brilliant idea to make him take us home as well! except he didnt have enough room in his car. so he took his sister all the way home, came back to pick us up and then took us all the way home. free of charge. i was going to venmo him gas money but ive forgotten so many times now that i just dont want to text him anymore. and i ended up losing my ring in his car. and we texted abt it and flirted a little (hehehe) but i suck at texting so we havent talked in like a week LMAO.

but yeah, fun thursday! super tame but also super fun! i wish i was better at being a communicating human so i could still being chatting with that guy but alas. thats all.

STREAM ENDED

Sollux breathes a sigh of relief as the lights and cameras and monitors, one by one, click off, leaving the room gently lit with the glow of Feferi’s fairy lights strung up around the room. From behind him, a pair of arms wrap around his shoulders, the pink glitter on the nails softly shimmering. He greets her with a kiss on the hand, and soon he’s curled up with his boyfriend and girlfriend in bed. These nights are more common now, all of them legal adults in one house under the artificial stars of the LA sky.

“Eridan? Can you do that thing you do?” Feferi whispers, careful if for no more reason than to not break the soft stillness of the darkening room.

“What do you mean, dear?”

“The way you recite poems. You know, when I can’t sleep.” Sollux murmurs, lisp just peeking through.

Sollux can feel Eridan start to blush, even in the warm darkness.

“I... didn’t know you both..remembered it that much. If you’d like though, I’ll try.”

Eridan’s voice settles like a melody in the room, gentle and lyrical around the delicate words.

“How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight for the ends of being and ideal grace..”

Sollux realizes that his hand is interlaced with Eridan’s, Feferi’s draped overtop. He doesn’t remember doing it. It is second nature to him, the soft affection of being present. The lights glimmer down to nothing. A peacable, if early, night. There is a sense of contentment, of a longing fufilled- one that he hadn’t known he’d had.

“I love thee to the level of every day’s most quiet need, by sun and candle-light”

Eridan remembers, absentmindedly, while saying words that he knows by heart. He remembers the grating harshness of loneliess- of wanting, so badly, to be fixed by another that he could not fix himself. He remembers the fear of realizing the way he loved was different. He can still feel the weight of all he has left to say, the idea of coming out to an audience built on dregs of rejection and rejecting hangs like the sword of Damacles over his head, but it is easier here. The world seems softer, wrapped in the gentleness of favourite blankets and the light of a waning moon.

“I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.”

Feferi has always wanted to do what’s right. She knows that she can’t always know what’s best for everyone, but she still feels guilt at every percieved slight. She loves too deeply, too fiercely, Eridan used to tell her, with too solemn an expression for such a young face. She had a heart big enough for the entire world. She knows that she wants to come out on her own terms- a teen starlet who’s pan and polyamorous is hot news to pick up, after all. She’s scared to, of course- she knows that a part of her soul will still be the little girl she once was, starving for affection, but she’s growing. Learning. And in the arms of the two boys she loves, she feels as though, for a moment, the entire world is right.

“I love thee with the passion put to use in my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.”

Learning the boundaries of their relationship when it was new wasn’t quite easy. it wasn’t something any of them had ever done before. Feferi was the one to suggest it first- it would break her heart, after all, to break either of theirs. They hated each other at first- rivals over a girl, tale as old as time. Still, it slowly simmered and faded. Sollux saw the walls of protection fall when Eridan brought Feferi a dozen pink roses, eyes not competing, but earnest. Eridan saw the bravado collapse when Feferi fell from the branch of a tree while filming and Sollux rushed to her side, eyes wide, hoping she was alright, begging her to never do that again. An understanding turned to an alliance, and an alliance turned to love. It was December, and they were sitting together at Feferi’s insistence, hot cocoa and a book to while the night away. Eridan read in the same voice, and at the ending, he left a feather-light kiss brushed over Sollux’s lips- and Sollux pulled him back in.

“I love thee with a love I seemed to lose with my lost saints. I love thee with the breath, smiles, and tears of all my life; and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.”

It was a warm night, cozy and cooled by the breath of autumn in the air, and there they lay together, lulled to sleep by the melody of a love poem and the gentlie chimes of wind on glass, Sollux’s heart filled to bursting with love for his sweethearts. There was a gentle, whispered, goodnight.

a/n: the poem is how do i love thee, or sonnet 43, by elizabeth batter browning. it’s like 4am so i didn’t proofread and i’m also very sentimental.

MANILA – Southern Luzon Command (SolCom) chief, Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade, Jr., Friday sought for an explanation on how a Gabriela member, whom communist terrorists and their allies have defended for allegedly being red-tagged by the government, ended up dead following an encounter with Philippine Marine Corps units in Brooke's Point, Palawan on September 3.

Parlade was referring to Ren Manalo, who is also known by aliases "RJ," “Ka Amir, ” "Lemon," a Gabriela official in Mindoro and member of activist fisher's group Pamalakaya, who was among the five communist terrorists killed during the Thursday encounter with members of the PMC's Force Reconnaissance Group.

"In the encounter at Brooke's Point, Rona Jane "Ren" Manalo, was found dead. Ren Manalo was a member of PAMALAKAYA and infiltrated legal orgs in Mindoro such as SAMAKASAMIN or "Samahan ng mga Kababaihan sa Mindoro" as the Provincial Coordinator; HAGGIBAT and BAYAN Mindoro," he said.

Parlade then requested Karapatan Secretary General Cristina Palabay tp explain why Manalo, an activist, was doing embedded work with known communist terrorists of the NPA’s Bienvinedo Vallever Command in Palawan.

"So, Cristina Palabay, explain why an activist like Ren alias 'Lemon'/'Pandan' was there in a violent incident in Palawan if she is not a terrorist like alias 'Eboy' and the rest of the NPAs killed? You have been complaining of being red-tagged, so aren't you?" he added.

Aside from Manalo, also killed during the September 3 encounter with PMC units were three ranking New People's Army (NPA) leaders identified as Bonifacio “Salvador Luminoso” Magramo, the secretary of the SRMA (Unite) 4E of the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee (STRPC), Andrea “Ka Naya” Rosal, daughter of late NPA spokesperson "Ka Roger" Rosal and deputy secretary of the group, Noel “Ka Celso” Siasico.

Magramo, also known as "Eboy", is from Elvita, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, and while Siasico is known as "Lines" is a resident of Barangay Limlim, Rizal, also in Occidental Mindoro.

"If the STRPC's ROC(Regional Organizing Committee) and MRGU (Main Regional Guerilla Unit) at the island of Mindoro are planning to avoid the heat by escaping to Palawan, there is also no one to receive them with the death of the top leaders of the CPP (Communist Party of the Philippines) there. However, there is an option left for Jose Maria Sison's stooges. Give up their armed struggle and join us in pursuing peace, justice, and development in the countryside. Not the other way around, Joma," Parlade said.

The CPP-NPA is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States, European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the Philippines.

Aside from the debacle in Brooke's Point, Palawan which was greatly aided by close coordination between local government unit officials and the community, he said CPP-NPA has suffered another serious setback when six regular members of their " PLTN SERNA of KLG MAV, SRMA 4D" and 48 "Milisyang Bayan" (MB)/ "Sangay ng Partido sa Localidad" (SPL) voluntarily surrendered in Occidental Mindoro last week.

"A month ago, 11 Indigenous Peoples NPAs also returned to the folds of law after the killing of Lorrelaine Saligumba alias 'Fara'. Two members of SOG (Special Operations Group) in Mindoro and six MRGU members in Laguna-Quezon also have returned to the folds of the law," he said.

The secretary of SRMA 4C Mario Caraig alias "Jethro" was killed including the platoon leader of MRGU Dioscoro Cello alias "Thermo" and two others.

"Also last year the Secretary of SRMA4A, Ermin Bellen alias 'Pat Romano'/'Malazarte' was killed," he said in recounting CPP-NPA reverses in the field.

With these results, he added, plans of the communist terrorists to reestablish bases in Mindoro have proven a disastrous failure.

"Their plan to complement the Regional ROC and their MRGU in Mindoro to regain and re-establish base there has failed again with the killing of personalities and leaders of Sub-Region Military Area 4E," Parlade said. (PNA)
