I just think people judge too goddamn fast nowadays. 🙁 How does it teach a person if we cancel them and won’t let them learn? Since when has hate been a productive way to achieve peace? And how does it make peace in gaza if we hate Käärijä, a totally innocent person, here on the internet, send him thousands of hate mails and cancel him? Our behaviour only polarizes the world more, and yet one more individual is been pushed down and crushed. He needs our support, we live and learn together here as human beings.
good morning anon, how is the hangover?🙂 I hope everyone had a bit of sleep..
I think the judgment came from receiving a punch to the stomach from seeing that video, so it wasn't too sudden, even if we now know Käärijä was set up (I mean, duh). I fully agree that cancelling people is not the way and it does breed hate snowball (sidenote: I'm all for cancelling corporations tho 👍 they can handle.), the reactions I've seen here on Tumblr have been very appropriate and understanding, and majority has been already said, so I want to hug everyone because ugh this will stick and I love you all🫂 I don't use twt but I can only imagine what's there from the comments I've seen on Kä's ig :/
By trying not to get caught in the middle of this esc shitstorm Jere got caught in the worst possible way. So in a way we're all upset because we haven't given up on him. He knows it was a mistake, we know it was a mistake, everyone around him know it was a mistake. He did learn something from the flag incident and it seems have spoken with his team before making any rash decisions. I believe he'll learn a lot from yesterday too.
And anon you touch a really good point - how does it make peace? ESC is a pond and it will be over in few days. War won't. So it's very important to continue with advocacy for palestinians by pressuring politicians and businesses who have actual influence.
This situation also reminds me of family psichology, forgot the term, but it's about how and why your loved one sometimes would lash out or say very hurtful things, when they would never say that to others. And it's because they feel safe to get angry in the presence of you and at you. I think this is very similar and many of us feel like Käärijä, and fans by proxy, is our family and we feel safe to express our hurt and that we will be heard.
But again it's important to remember that here we're all on the same side and if anyone really really wants to send hate mail - well then esc account is much better recipient as an example 💩

For your fun drabble : how about, the sisters walk in on the bat boys in the birchin 😏they’re bruised from the fight but now invested in persuading them to join
Thank you so much for participating! 😊🌼 I took some creative liberties but I hope this lives up to your expectations!
Elriel Month Drabble 1 - Family Bonding
It took the sisters about three seconds to understand what, exactly, they were seeing.
They knew about the yearly snowball fight, just like they knew about the brotherly sauna session that usually followed, but for some reason, neither seemed to think of it when they first planned to spend the afternoon at the Cabin, wrapping Solstice presents away from prying eyes (read: Cassian and Azriel).
Now, as all three sisters stared at the bruised, semi-naked form of three very strong, very big Illyrians, all merry thoughts of Solstice presents, and hot chocolate seemed to vanish.
Rhysand was the first to notice them, raising his head just as he was about to pull down his pants. Azriel followed, turning bright red as his eyes snapped towards Elain’s, whose pink cheeks darkened under his startled gaze. Cassian, frustrated that his rambles kept being met with silence, finally looked up and what came over his face was nothing but pure delight at seeing the three sisters staring at them in different states of distress.
“Ladies,” He purred, and Nesta immediately narrowed her eyes, as if daring him to make a single joke. But Cassian grinned, all wicked charm and innocence. “Care to join us?”
Before he could even pretend to regret inviting them, Nesta was hurling something at his head, fast enough he barely evaded it. Feyre and Elain had dissolved into giggles just as Azriel slapped the back of his head with unnecessary force. Cassian scowled at him just as the sound of the front door closing echoed through the cabin, the girls long gone.
He turned to Rhys, who was watching him with a raised eyebrow.
“I just thought we could do some family bonding.” He reasoned, not sure he even believed himself.
Azriel walked away, shaking his head in disappointment. Rhys simply rolled his eyes.
He scoffed at his brother. “Don’t act like you didn’t think it was a good idea.”
Rhys simply smirked, smug as he turned and dropped the rest of his clothes on the couch. “Good luck explaining your good idea to Nesta tonight.”
Cassian flinched, swearing under his breath. He was sleeping on the couch tonight, wasn't he?

I started watching supernatural again from the first season, partly because of your blog, and you are so right about Jensen’s acting. The control that man has as a performer. The way his face will go through an entire journey in a pause in the dialogue. I feel so many things for Dean and a lot is in those shifts in expression.
I'm so glad you're giving it another go, and I'm proud my blog has anything to do with it! And yeah, Supernatural has some real flaws, but it's also just...so good? Two things can be true?
And, Jensen is incredible? It's like you can see the emotions drifting through his pretty face like clouds or something. He manages to make Dean feel like a whole-ass human being, and it's because his performance makes you truly believe that Dean's got a rich, emotional inner life that no one but him is privy to, and he feels and thinks things he never, ever says. He makes you feel curious about what's going on in there! He just so makes so much space for the audience to imagine him and care about him. I feel like the genius of it lies somewhere between the culturally determined tough guy script Dean's running and the way you know that despite all that, he's just full to the brim with soft, private, real ass FEELINGS.
I think people sleep on how legitimately fucking great Jensen is at his job because he's got a mathematically perfect face, that lush mouth and the biggest, wettest, greenest eyes in all the land, but he truly is a remarkably gifted actor, and it's straight up amazing that his performance of Dean never flagged over 15 years, and that despite what seems to have been EPIC tomfoolery on that set, and all the vagaries of production, he just kept getting better and better, and Dean just got deeper and richer and more devastating. The Dean I love most is the one in season 15 who is in the grip of a snowballing existential crisis, and is always visibly choking down and swallowing everything he doesn't say while letting emotion just well up like a flood in his face. He's very, very talented and the ability he has to communicate legible emotion in a way that feels like there is no artifice at all involved is extremely impressive.
There are a lot of VERY good actors who can't do what he does, and like...KUDOS. And, THANK YOU, because I love Dean. Please do more Dean, Jensen. Never stop.

Recently it snowed all across London, so here's how I think the characters from TMA would find it!
Jon: Goes on about how impractical it is, tells everyone that he's been late to work because of train delays due to ice on the tracks. (He's really late because he stopped to make a snowman.) he keeps going out to "get some air." (everyone thinks he's chainsmoking but really he just wants to look at the snow)
Martin: Absolutely LOVES the snow. He's out initiating snowball fights, he's writing poetry about how 'the earth is covered with a duvet of icy hopes' or something like that.
Tim: Having the time of his life! He's building snow forts and joining Martin in snowball fights.
Sasha: Is also having the time of her life, and is the only reason they managed to build the snow Fort without it falling down.
Basira: Loves the snow, but from a practical point of view it makes doing things really annoying. I feel like she's got a really cool pair of snow boots though.
Daisy: Doesn't like it. Coats are bulky and slippery floors make the chase a pain in the arse to do without falling over.
Elias: Loves it... But always goes on about how "Back in the old days the river (Thames) used to freeze over and we'd go out skating on it!" The old days were the victorian era.

Fantasy AU designs!
(I am part of the late kids club but here we are)
No one reminded me that hijack week was this week so now I am scrambling :,)
Jack is a lil traveling spirit elf from the Northern tribes which are very much being attacked and destroyed atm. His people are trying to relocate elsewhere while trying to preserve their cool elf magic, his goal is to hopefully find a place to vibe in. He makes a lot of enemies but in his defense it was kinda funny.
Hiccup’s tribe happens to live close by. He does miscellaneous things; travels, sells, goes on questionable adventures with his friends, etc. He has a soft spot for injured creatures so he kinda takes them in and has a little place where he nurses them back to health (Prosthetics, medicine, all that cool stuff). The only problem is that his tribe are super closed off from the world and don’t wanna deal with magic stuff, and obviously, that doesn’t stop him.
Anyway hehe cute gremlin couple I love them
