so there is this thing I've speculated over many times but I never mathed it out before so:
This tells us that Blaine was born at some point between 6/4/1980 and 5/4/1981 (I assume it's not his birthday bc I feel like he would have mentioned it but he also might not)
We also learn this:
Now this seems to slightly conflict with this -
-but I'm actually more leaning towards the first one, because Angus was actually sane then (by McDonough standards) then and it's a legal "document", while the other is a "Brother Love" doing a sermon.
Also, we can see on screen, that the will was recorded on March 4th 2012 - so minus 35 years, that actually means that she's been working for him since before Blaine was born (1977 or 1978)
Which would really mean she was there all of Blaine's life. This is also kind of supported for me by this:
Now...in present day, Blaine mostly refers to his father by his name, using words like dad or pops etc sometimes for the sake of it. But...assuming that he's actually quoting something he remembered saying at some point (which it sure sounds like in that scene), then he must have been pretty young to still have referred to his father as "daddy" - especially considering Angus' long absence and generally...low tolerance for "weakness" or sentimentality. I feel like he wouldn't have humoured that for long but that's just speculation. But my point is that Blaine would have been pretty young at that point which supports the earlier theory that Frau Bader really was there for most of his life.
The thing is, personally I always speculated that she was hired because Angus was barely home/didn't really spend time with his son and because his mother was too mentally ill/traumatised to take care of a child. but. Unless Blaine has a secret mysterious older sibling we never hear about, Bader cannot possibly have been hired as a nanny. Which kind of makes me wonder whether she was supposed to be a kind of "caretaker" for Blaine's mother before that. (Or whatever else her connection to Angus might be)

Traveler's little helper: Liyue
Baizhu , Childe, Chongyun, Xiao, Xingqiu, Zhongli x Fem! Reader

Baizhu is grateful to you both for taking care and helping Qiqi, whenever she would come back home, he couldn't help but notice how little zombie is in better mood(even if she doesn't remember what she was doing all day in your Serenitea). At first he was too busy to accept your invitations, but you were pretty stubborn. When you were still in Liyue you would visit him every day, sometimes with traveler, sometimes alone. But you weren't just sitting and bothering him, to his surprise you wanted to help. You would take Qiqi and go gather some herbs or just help however you can at Bubu Pharmacy. Herbalist Gui always appreciate your help as well, even Changsheng started to enjoy your company.
But the next stop in your journey was Inazuma. After you both left , he couldn’t help but miss your presence. Changsheng noticed too, when Baizhu sometimes would look up at the front door with hope of seeing you but it always was just another patient. After months you came back, but only for short moment. You came to ask how everyone is and the next day you and Aether traveled to Sumeru. He really hoped you’ll stay longer, Changsheng noticed his disappointed and said “Why won’t you just accept her invitation? Thanks to it you’ll be able to go to her Teapot and see her even when she is in another nation!” before Baizhu could came up with some excuse Changsheng continued “Don’t bother with excuses, next time she will come here, just tell her that you want to 'join to the team' like she always says!” The doctor chuckled, maybe his friend is right and it’s time for him to go with you on your ‘little adventures’.
The next time you came back with Aether, Baizhu immediately approached you two, asking if there will be place for him in your team. The look on your face was priceless, he couldn’t help but smile when you were saying “Of course!! Welcome to the team Baizhu!!!” with so much excitement.
What he didn’t expect is how he feel much better when he is around you. With his condition he wouldn’t be able to run or climb like everyone else and yet somehow he can keep up with the rest of the team. Of course you would always ask if he needs a break or you would say to the rest of the group that you’re tired and need to rest. He knows that you only do that for him, he already saw how energetic you are and this ‘connection’ you spoke of before, also increases your stamina as well. In your words “to keep up with the person you’re connected with”. But he appreciate that you’re still considerate of him and his condition.
When Baizhu visited your Realm Within for the first time, he was surprised that you prepared whole room for him and didn't mind if he brings his stuff that he needs for keeping his health. You and Aether even helped bring all boxes and jars to his room and to storage room, because there was too many to fit in his. He couldn’t help but apologize for being a hassle but you only smiled and said “You’re not a hassle! This bottles and jars have medicine to help you stay healthy so they are important! We have so much space, so don’t worry about it!” and after that you went to place another box in his room. Baizhu smiled, glad that he listened to his snake companion and accepting your invitation. He and Qiq started to help too but what he didn't expect is to see many other guys helping moving the boxes as well. The doctor noticed how the guys, after seeing you holding a box, immediately came to you to help. Changsheng after seeing this only said “It seems you’re going to have so many rivals, don't you?” Baizhu chuckled and replied “That’s not surprising considering what kind of person she is. I expect there will be even more in the future.” Changsheng looked at him asking “Are you not worried about that?” He only with sad smile respond with “There’s nothing I can do about it.” The snake didn't said anything and he continued helping with moving, hoping that nobody is going to accidentally break his stuff. Especially the guy with red horns…
There was a moment, when Baizhu fell sick when he was in Realm Within, he like always waited for Qiqi to bring him tea, hot water and fruits but what he didn’t expect to see was you coming to his room. When you asked Qiqi in the hall where she cares all of this stuff she only responded “It's one of those days.“. You got worried so you asked Qiqi what she meant by that and she said “Dr. Bai is not feeling good…” so you came to help him however you can.
At first he insisted that he will be fine, but you become stubborn again and stayed, no matter what he said. You fed him fruits, help him drink a tea, put new wet towels on his forehead and stayed by his side till he feel better. He saw the way you looked at him, so sad, you even apologized that you can't make him feel better now nor you can’t cure him. This is why he didn’t wanted you to see him in state like this. It hurts him to see with such sadness in your lovely eyes. Changsheng noticed it and she suggested “(Y/n) how about telling us about your adventures in Sumeru?” at first you looked conflicted about talking about it in moment like this, but the white snake said that it may make Baizhu forget about pain for moment. So you did. After finishing your story, Qiqi brought soup to the room. You of course helped Baizhu to sit up straight against the head of the bed and fed him. In this moment he realized how comfortable he feels with you, how much he wish that when he feels under the weather again, you’ll be here helping him. But of course he's still going to fight against death, so he won’t leave this world too soon and so he will be able enjoy more of your lovely smiles for a bit longer.
The one thing that the eleven of Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia, or know as a Childe, really wants is to fight with the strongest. At first he didn’t pay too much attention to you, from his Fatui intel he knew you’re not a warrior. But when he was fighting with Aether at Golden House, he noticed something. It was very hard to see it at first, but there was the white thread that was coming from you to Aether. Even when he aimed to cut it, it didn’t work and Aether was becoming stronger and stronger.
After his plan failed and Signora took Geo Archon’s Gnosis, he decided to learn more about you. Aether and Paimon were wary of him but you didn’t mind to talk to him. He would invite you three for meals, Aether at first tried to decline but both you and Paimon quickly accepted the invitations, after more situations like this Aether just gave up and enjoyed free meal. Childe of course asked many times if you have some kind of powers to make other people stronger but whenever you wanted to explain about the ‘connection’, Aether would stop you, changing topic. So Tartaglia had to approach this in another way. He started to help you two in commissions (at least the ones when you had to fight), or coincidentally meeting you when you were exploring Liyue. Before you realized he practically joined on his own to your team because of that, you thought it’s time to make Childe stronger! But to his disappointed you said that he can’t fight with anyone who is in your team too.
He didn’t mind to help you gather shells but he felt frustrated that he couldn’t help too much when your friends were fighting with Ocenaid. And you forbidden him using Foul Legacy when there were your other friends.
He was getting more and more excited when you gathered all necessary items, the things vanished before him and your hands started to glow, when you took his hands in yours, he felt weird. But after this feeling he started to feel this weird power within him and he noticed something else. There was now thread, thinner than one you have with Aether but still there it was and what he realized, for some reason he is the only one who can see it.
Ajax was happy that you and Aether didn’t tell Teucer on his real job. You took very good care of his little brother. But you scolded him, because ‘why did you let Teucer into laboratory filled with Ruin Guards?!’ He tried to calm you down, that nothing bad happened in the end but you were still angry at him. In some way, this made him happy, knowing how much you care for his little brother and later he could see that you care about him too. Always patching his wounds when he decides to fight with big Geovishap, or just asking about his day. There are some peaceful moments between you two and to his surprise he feels like he comes back to his old self before he fall into abyss, by your side he wasn’t Tartaglia who is thrilled to fight, he is just Ajax who enjoys going on adventure with and seeing your smile.
To Aether dismay (and many others) you invited Childe to Teapot. Of course you told him that if he fight with someone here, you will kick him out… but you also mentioned that he can spar with someone on the training grounds, but only friendly spars! You don't want anyone to get horribly hurt here! He is okay with that, as long as he can just fight and show that he is better from others, that will be enough for him. But nobody really wanted to spar with him, so they left him no choice.
Childe is aware of other guys being interested in you. He always gets more friendly with you, when there's any of them at the same room. Putting his arm around you, one time he hugged you from behind (some of them were ready to beat him up at that moment) or when you are sitting on couch he would lie down his head on your lap. Sometimes it does work and someone takes him to the training ground but most of the time other guys try to not get into his game.
But if the other guys are friendly to you for some reason Tartaglia feels uncomfortable. He considers you as a friend but that’s it, right? But then why in moments like this he always try to get between you and that guy or even challenge them in fight? Is this really because he want to feel thrill of the fight? Or maybe…
While lying in the bed, in the room you prepared for him, he wonders. You bring warm to his heart, he wants you to meet all of his family, he… Is this even possible for him to feel that way about someone?
Chongyun considers you as a good friend. He’s really grateful when you tell him about rumors where someone saw a ghost and even go with him to check those places. You’re always supportive of him as well. When he doubts himself he can be sure that with pout on your face you’ll tell all good things about him. When his yang energy starts to act up, you always there to bring him popsicle. When it comes to his ice treats, you always make different flavors after visiting other nations. After you visited the Fontaine and come back to Teapot, the first thing you did is to make new flavored popsicle using bullet fruit. This makes him happy how you always think about him and want for him to enjoy a bit more flavors of this world.
Whenever he have free time, he likes to spend it with you. When he stays in the Serenitea, in the mornings you can find him at training grounds, exercise or meditate. You always bring him water and encourage him, making him want to work harder.
But at one point something changed. At first he noticed that whenever you would get closer to him, his yang energy would start to act up a bit. Later your smiles started to make his heart beat faster and cheeks get warmer. He was so confused about it, he decided to talk with his good friend, Xingqiu, about it, to ask if he knows the reason why his positive energy acts up around you. But his friend only smiled and said to him to not worry about it.
One time Hu Tao invited him, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Aether, Paimon and of course you too. Everyone enjoyed the food, but at some moment he felt fire in his throat. He got up from his chair immediately, both you and Xiangling getting up as well to give him cold water. But before he can drink it he blacked out.
He woke up in his room in Teapot, he got up from the bed, running towards door. When he opened he saw you, who was surprised to see him already wake. He asked what happened after he lost conscious, but you smiled and said “Nothing that you have to worry about!” and then asked how was he feeling. After talking with you for moment he went in search of Xingqiu, who he found in library at the mansion. His friend was reading something, but after noticing Chongyun presence, he closed the book and asked how the exorcist feels. Chongyun wondered if his friend put something in his food as prank again but after asking it, Xingqiu declined, saying that the waiters must give him wrong order. The blue haired boy, naïve like always, trusted what his friend said but then his friend continued. “Oh Chongyun, you probably don't remember what happened there, right? Suddenly you ran towards (Y/n), hold onto her waist and start spinning with her. We tried to stop you but then you hold onto her like your life depended on it and said that she’s yours the most favourite person in whole Teyvat.”
Before the bookworm could continue Chongyun ran towards kitchen for popsicle. He felt so embarrassed. How could he do something like this?! He must apologize to you after calming down. When he found you again, he kneeled on the floor, bowing and spitting apologizes for his behaviour in restaurant. You looked confused but then you smiled and said that nothing big happened and he doesn't have to apologize. “Being honest, it was fun to see this side of you! Next time if you want to dance with me just ask~” After this his heart skip a beat. He turned around to try stop heat going into his cheeks and activating his manic state again. You were patiently waiting for him. He then looked at you again and with shy tone said “I’m not good dancer…but if you want we can try to.” While the two of you where talking, nobody notice the second son of the Feiyun Commerce Guild watching you two, with the pout on his face.
The mighty Yaksha, Alatus or now more know as Xiao didn’t think too much about you at first. He knew you’re important companion to Aether and that was it. Whenever your little group would stay at Wangshu Inn, you always tried to talk to him to his dismay. Even if he was cold to you or just ignored you, you never stopped coming back to the balcony, where he would residence. At some point you started bringing Almond Tofu for him. At first he didn't accept the food, but after declining it for 10 times and seeing your disappointed face, he finally agreed to take it. You beamed, he was expecting that you will start talk about something pointless but in the end you two sat in comfortable silence.
Xiao at some point noticed something, whenever his karmic debt would get worse, he only needed to be by your side for some time to make it more durable. At some point when you two were sitting at the Wangshu Inn balcony, watching stars, he asked you about it. You looked at him surprised, then at the night sky, deep in thoughts. After awhile you responded “Maybe it’s because of my ‘connection’ with Aether?“ Yaksha was confused “what ‘connection’?” he thought, looking at you, hoping that you elaborate more about it, but you after noticing something in the distance changed topics, so his question never got an answer.
Xiao would sometimes join to your ‘little adventures’ in Liyue, before Aether can react, the Adeptus would take the monsters down, but when it came to humans, he preferred for Traverel to ‘teach them a lesson’. Whenever Xiao sensed presence of another mortal he would stay hidden, not wanting to have attention of someone who search for adepti for blessings. But then he saw the Fatui Harbinger approaching you, it was after the Osial was sealed. He was ready to point his spear to Fatuus neck, but he never needed to do that in the end. The ginger guy approached you and started talking, then he followed a bit after your little group. But he never done any harm so Xiao didn’t had to show himself.
But this didn’t end on this one day. The Fatui Harbinger started to join to your little adventures as well, much to Xiao's annoyance. But there was something that Yaksha couldn’t understand, from where come this unpleasant feelings? He watched you and the ginger man interact and he felt more and more angered by it. He tried to tell himself that’s because he know you won’t be able to protect yourself and the Fatui guy can hurt you at any moment, that even Aether won’t be able to react quick enough.
But when the tall man tried to put his hand on your shoulder, he instinctively moved. Yaksha put you behind him, pointing spear to Fatui’s chest. Aether and Paimon tried to calm both of them down because Childe was ready to fight with Adeptus. You too stepped between them and told them to stop. To Xiao's surprise, the Fatui Harbinger put his hydro swords down first, so he followed, making his spear disappear. You got very angry at them, but Xiao didn't listen what were you saying, too occupied with glaring at Childe, while he was smirking at shorter Yaksha. After that day Xiao never hide his presence from Tartaglia.
The day when you got Serenitea from Madame Ping you immediately came to Wangshu Inn. You wanted him to be able to visit your Realm Within but first you needed to stamp his hand, so he would have free access to come and go whenever he wants. He took off his glove and then you hold onto his hand. This was first time when he let you touch him. Your hand was so warm and soft compared to his. Before he realized you already let go, he didn’t even noticed when you stamped him. Without saying anything he put his glove back and you were already running to invite more of your friends. He looked at his hand deep in thought.
The Adeptus really wanted to follow you, he wanted to go with you to another nations, but because of his contract he can’t. He didn't like when you were sad after asking him if he will go with you on small trip to Sumeru and he declined. He really wants to go, after you left for Inazuma, everyday he was worried if you’ll be okay, if Aether will be able to protect you. He felt relieved when you came back safe and sound. But this will repeated because you will go to another nation and then to next one.
One day when Zhongli visited him, he like always asked about the Yaksha’s well being. And he did notice how Xiao seems to be in bitter mood lately. “You may go with her, I’ll take care of everything here.” Zhongli said before drinking his tea. Xiao’s eyes widened but before he could utter the word, the Geo Archon continued. “It will only take some days and I too think this will do good for you.” He smiled at younger being. Xiao bowed, thanking him. Before you left Liyue boundaries, Xiao appeared in front of your group. He will never forget the smile you gave him after he said that he will join in your travels.
The second son of the Guild Manager of the Feiyun Commerce Guild, Xingqiu really like you. Your friendship with him started to bloom after you showed interest in books at Wanwen Bookhouse. He of course started to recommend one of his favorites, hoping to have someone with who he can discuss them. How surprised he was when you said that you can’t read Teyvat’s alphabet so you need to ask Paimon or Aether to read them for you. But his surprise quickly vanished and said with a smile “My liege! If you don’t mind, would you like to read it with me?” and this is how it started. Whenever you and Aether took small break from adventuring and Xingqiu had free time, you two could be find in some peaceful place, the boy reading aloud to you while you sat by his side listening and sometimes commenting on what was going in the story. Later when you got Teapot, Xingqiu would sit with you in library that you and Aether made.
The Guhua Geek felt comfortable around you, he was very talkative, whenever he sneaked from home you could except him to join to your little adventures. One time when your group was visiting Qingce Village, you got a bit careless and almost fell from the hill into the water, thankfully Xingqiu caught you just in time. When he was asking you if you are alright, Paimon pointed how he called you “My lady? What happened with “my liege”?” she asked. Xingqiu was pondering, did he really called you like that? You brushed it with smile and thanked him and then continued on your way. But the boy couldn’t stop thinking why he didn’t said to you ‘my liege’ like always? And then it he realized something, his feelings towards you started to past the boundaries of platonic ones.
Some people know that he writes books, but he has a small secret that he doesn't want to share with anyone. At first he just wanted to add one more character to his book that she is working now, the character that resembles you. But the more he thought about this plot, the more he realized that he changes this book into romance one. This wouldn't be good if his story changed into different one, so he decided to write another story. In this one he wrote mostly his fantasies of being your hero, showing that he’s better than other candidates fighting for your heart. He wrote how he imagine your dates to go, if he ever had chance to invite you to one, with Aether and your other friends it’s hard to ask you to go somewhere alone with him. If he decided to realize this book he will make a different penname for it, after all you, Aether and one alchemist knows who Zhenyu is, and he wouldn’t want any of you to read this one or even know of its existence.
There was one time when the boy pranked his good friend Chongyun. It was a small prank, he just told exorcist about rumors that at specific house, people heard ‘scratching on the doors at night’. Chongyun went investigate this of course. But then you, Aether and Chongyun came back with a kitty that you and Aether searched for commission. You scolded Xingqiu for always pranks Chongyun, of course this one wasn't bad but for some reason you knew about the ones where Chongyun’s yang energy started to act up because of him. He apologized back then but when you and Aether went to take your payment from Katheryne, he couldn't help but pout. From now on he avoided prank his good friend when he knew you’re in Liyue.
Another thing he noticed considering Chongyun is how he started to spend more and more time with you. He’s already aware why his heart is always beating faster when he is by your side but it seems his friend doesn't know that he’s getting feelings toward you as well. Even when Chongyun asked him about the ‘symptoms’ he only could said to him to not worry about them. He had a plan to show you how Chongyun behaves in his maniac state, so on a dinner that Hu Tao organized, he put some Jueyun Chili in Chongyun's food. He thought Chongyun will do things like always, like dancing on the table or singing loudly, but to his terror, the exorcist started to spin you around the room, then he hold you bridal style while screaming that you're his the most favorite person. After that incident Xingqiu decided to not awake this side of Chongyun when you are nearby.
The Geo Archon, Morax or known now as Zhongli found you to be an interesting. You said yourself that you came to witness Aether’s journey on Teyvat, this made him feel better knowing that now not only Aether will see the true story of Teyvat but you as well. He noticed, how sometimes you would look at him, probably wanting to ask something that he can’t talk about, but you never voiced those questions swarming in your head. He wondered if you just chose not to ask or if this ‘connection’ with Aether, like his contracts, forbidden you to do so. Another thing he wondered about is why so many males started to be interested in you in more than platonic wayThe Fatui Harbinger suddenly started to seek your person to invite you for walks or dinners than search someone to fight, the Yaksha that stayed away from mortals, started to open his heart to you, being more interested in mortals customs and Barbatos seems to sing and recite more poems about love after hearing your name being mention and to his surprise, Anemo Archon is drinking less than before. Is this some of your 'powers' making them like this? Or maybe you are really just a very charming person? Soon this question was answered to him.
You’re very curious about world he lives in, you ask about Liyue's traditions, the legends, sometimes asking if the things in the books are true. He couldn't help but laugh when you asked if that Qilin that ate some man clothes in story from ‘Records of Jueyun‘ is Ganyu’s mother.
When you got Teapot, he’s favorite part of the day become mornings, when he can enjoy drinking tea with you in peace. But to his annoyance, at some point the drunkard started to come too, ruining the peace. He knew what the bard is trying to do and he tried his best to make him leave you two alone again. Most of the time the two of them would argue in passive-aggressive way, but at some point Zhongli had enough. You like animals and there are many cats walking in your Real Within. When the morning came he would feed the little fellows close to the place where you drink your tea. Venti’s face was priceless when he realized that there are at least 3 cats sitting by your and Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's consultant side. This of course didn’t end well, there is little, harmless war between two Archons in your Teapot now. But there was a time when they crossed the line, the room they were at the that moment was in chaos. Only them and Aether knows what happened back then, both of them got kicked from the Serenitea at least for a week by the Traveler himself.
The thing you started to dislike is passing shops when you on a walk with Zhongli. If you looked at something for more than 5 seconds, the Geo Archon was ready to buy it for you, even if he doesn’t even have mora on himself. But you noticed that at one point he do started to have his wallet with him but even so, you’re not sure if he has enough mora on his person to buy so many things. But still you don’t want for him to ‘waste’ mora on you. The taller man doesn't agree with you and in the end you always come back to Teapot with some things. After Hu Tao complained to you about bill she got lately, you decided to always go somewhere outside the city with Parlor's consultant, far away from vendors and shops.
There are moments when Geo Archon remembers the past, all the friends that passed away, all the enemies he has to slay. His mind wandering so far from present that he didn’t notice you approaching him. You gently placed your hand on his arm, asking if he’s alright. He looked at you with a smile, but you could see some sadness in his eyes. Then you asked if you can hug him to his surprise but he replied that he doesn't mind. When you embraced him you said “From where I come from, it is said that hugs makes people feel better! I hope you’ll feel better too Zhongli!” He patted your head, thinking how caring and lovely you are. To be worried about some old dragon that he is. When the day come you two have to part your ways, he promised to himself that he will never forget you. But he hopes that this day is very, very far in the future. After all, every journey has its final day, so please don't rush it, if it means that he can spend more time with you.

This is A LOT and I'm kinda embarrassed but I'll fucking "cringe culture is dead" through life or so help me GOD
I like imagining backstories for characters and making cool little nonsensical and completely self-indulgent AUs

An AU where Adamas has her last clutch in her small form
As a refresher Amanita is White Lady's name and Ebur is Pale King's name. Adamas is Pale King's mother, though wyrms use dame and sire for their parents so that's what he calls her. I am yet to properly share Quercus but he's WL's father. Flower is my name for the Pure Vessel in this AU, Hallow is their birth name. Amaryllis is an oc, they're Flower's twin. Ebur and Amanita meeting while Ebur's family is travelling and Amanita still lives at the edge of her father's territory and her root system is connected with his but she's getting ready to leave hopefully in just one or two years when she's gathered enough strength and the spring's kind and abundant
Adamas' little group settles near her groove since it's brimming with life and there's not many people to get in the way or compete over resources with aside from the occasional traveller or two, and Amanita tolerates their presence for now, they give her something to do since her father is quite busy with his new seedlings now that she's grown and she doesn't have much company or things to do other than to listen to the occasional mortal passing by and watch the nature, so this small group of wyrms that's mostly composed of ones not much younger than her with all the hubris and boldness of young wyrms is the most interesting thing that's happened to her in a while
Some of them would probably push too far before Adamas had to smack them upside the head and reprimand them for ever thinking about taking over this territory, after all they're really on the larger territory of an ancient God, and even though Roots aren't known to be the most attentive of parents she still doesn't want to tempt fate and check if this one is the same by attacking his daughter
Either way, Amanita notices the younger wyrm isn't quite like the others and seems very intrigued by him
Although their first in face meeting wasn't the best, with her attacking him and managing to stab him in the ribs (you bet your ass Adamas chewed out his ass when he returned to their densite all bloody and holding his side), he kept returning to study her
Seems they both found each other intriguing
And eventually they get to talking, Ebur seemed excited to meet the first rootfolk in his life and actually to get to talk to her, he asks so many questions and she's amused with his curiosity, and eventually actually grows curious about the wyrms (and especially him) herself and asks him things in turn
They grow into unlikely friends though there's definitely more to it but neither is willing to acknowledge it yet
He often sneaks away from his family just to talk to her, and eventually they start sneaking into the more private parts of her groove with the excuse that they wouldn't want Ebur's family finding out they're friends, both of them just ignoring their glaringly obvious attraction to each other
One time Ebur brought her a kill he made and she hoped to GOD her blush wasn't noticeable (it was, not that he'd know because he was also avoiding eye contact to try and hide his own)
Ebur and the bad bitch he pulled by being autistic 💜
The group spends enough time around there for the two idiots to stop dancing around the subject and not only admit to their mutual attraction but to start to fall in love
Enough so that Ebur decides to stay when Adamas decides it's time to move on
At first she was about to talk sense into him about staying permanently in this place but he quickly corrected her
"No, no, it's not like that! I don't want to stay here permanently! I just..." He quieted down and looked away
"...You want to leave?"
"...mh..."
"Are you sure about this? Life as a lone wyrm isn't easy out there in the Wastelands, perhaps it'd be better if you stuck around until we find a suitable territory for you to stay at-"
"No, dame, I- I want to leave now. I think it's time. I love you all and I'll miss you, but...I just...I want to see what's out there for myself. Every year, every day, feels the same now; find some place, stay for a bit and hunt, move on. I- I can't live like this, it feels...suffocating."
"...You were always the curious kind, weren't you? I should have known this routine would bore you eventually," She sighed heavily and approached him, "I always knew this day would come, I just never expected it to be my youngest and smallest wyrmling that leaves the nest first..." She pulled him into a tight hug, "...Stay one last night with us, and if you're still sure about this after tomorrow's hunt I'll leave some supplies for you when we move on."
He smiled and hugged her back, "...Thank you..."
"Just promise me you'll be safe, okay?"
"You taught me well. I'll be alright, I promise."
He spends lots of time with his siblings and mother the next day, maybe Melpomene proposed she could come with since they were always the closest but he reassured her he wanted to be alone
The goodbye is very tearful, even Adamas cries and she's not the type to do that often
Ebur feels a little broken seeing them go, it feels weird being completely alone, strangely quiet too - he usually likes the quiet, but not this time. He goes to hunt to keep his mind off it then that evening he gathers his things and moves them to a densite way closer to his root's (his root, saying that makes him so giddy) and goes to share his kill with her
And that night, for the first time in their lives, he goes to sleep curled up around her amongst her roots. It does help him feel much better about having to say goodbye to his family
He spends the rest of the year in her groove with her - from summer to winter - before she's finally ready to move on next spring and he happily follows her to look for a new home for the both of them
Despite the new normal being hard to get used to at first he was still so unbelievably happy with her
And Quercus was considerably easier to hide their relationship from than his own family, considering they're on the outskirts of his territory and Ebur never saw him in person. As far as Quercus is concerned, Amanita just has a mild wyrm problem that she's handling well on her own
A few different things could happen from then on
Could either go canon compliant or pull out one of my fav moves, a cute domestic AU where they don't found Hallownest or do it later down the line after already having children and just live for a while as a happy family
And also the Drama Flavour where Ebur ends up pregnant despite them not trying to, they say fuck it and have them but he gets very sick and she brings him to her father for help, cue him being appalled that she's partners with a wyrm and her telling him to suck a dick and she'll take care of him herself, then they have the worst luck ever after finding a brand new territory and stumble onto Ebur's family, and Adamas has some very strong opinions about him being mates with a root (she doesn't even realise he's expecting otherwise it would have been. Worse). Fucking Romeo and Juliet up in here
For the last idea, I like the idea of Adamas questioning if that root can even provide for him or any possible clutches he might have in the future and he gets so pissed off he bristles, tells her to drop it and he's done with her attitude and to get the fuck off his territory. She bristles and calls him out on being so cocky as to tell her to get out
"If you're so confident then come on, defend your territory! Kick me out yourself!"
"Stop it-"
"Come on, boy! Show me you can actually protect yourself and yours! If you want me out them force me out!"
"I'm not going to fight you, mother!"
"...Tsk, you even talk like her."

She circles him, "You should know words won't be enough to protect your territory from intruders, and that young root definitely doesn't have it in her to do it. You promised me you'll stay safe, so show me you can actually take care of yourself!"
Instead she gets violently thrown back by a white root after Amanita returns to check up on her hubby <3
Puts herself between them, ready to snap their necks with her roots if she has to
"He told you to leave, so leave. Or should I make you, you old bag?"

Of course, it was 25% him not being willing to fight his own mother and 75% him being sick and not willing to risk the pregnancy, but he's not gonna tell her that when she reacted so negatively about him being mates with a root (and his siblings def teased him before the situation got serious)
He's gonna be SO fucking depressed about this later though
But I also just like the idea of them finding the place that would later become Hallownest and founding the kingdom together

I also made an entire AU with Integrity where PK moves on with his family with a promise that he'll be back next spring for her, only to realise he's expecting. And I am obsessed with this version, it's cute and domestic (in a wyrm kind of way) and I am sucker for these things.
Ebur leaves with his family, promising to return to her next spring so they can leave together, but what he DIDN'T account for was him getting pregnant
So now he has to think up an idea to sneak away and keep his pregnancy hidden until he's back with her. Very hard to do with his mother around, an old wyrm with decades worth of clutches she's reared into adulthood by herself, she sussed him out embarrassingly quickly

He does his best to mask his scent and keep his hormones and instincts under control, tries to sleep a little further from the group, is very careful on hunts and starts eating away from them when food aggression starts kicking his ass
One time Adamas finally approached him at meal time, throwing him her portion
"Here, eat up."
He looks at her, confused, "...I...what?"
"Just eat, kid."
He hesitantly takes it and leaves it near as he continues with his portion, "Don't you need to eat also?"
"Eh, I've eaten enough. Besides, I'm not the one who's eating for more than one right now."
"HRK-"
He looks at her, horrified, and she can't help but laugh
"What? You think I haven't noticed? Come on, you could fool your siblings with your excuses but I've had plenty of clutches of my own," She pats him on the shoulder, "Come on, eat up, kid. You need to put some meat on these bones."
He sighs heavily and goes back to eating, red in the face and a little awkward, unable to look her in the eyes as she's just observing him
"...If you copulated around the time of your first heat last spring-"
"HRNK?!"
"Oh, don't be like that, you're not a child anymore. Anyway, your due date should be in winter...not the ideal time to have a clutch, but we could make this work. You'll need to eat a lot if this kid is to have any chance of survival, though," She looked back st him, "...If you want to keep it, that is."
He goes quiet, his tail curling in close, "...I...y-yeah, I do..."
"...Alright, if that's what you want."
"You seem nervous."
"...How- how could I not be? I mean, all of this, it's...it's my first brood, and if they're due in winter..."
She scoots closer to him and wraps her tail around him, "Hey...you're not alone in this, okay? You have your siblings and I, we'll take care of you and your young. It's going to be alright." And she nuzzles him gently
Obviously they figure out the children are part root, but only some time after they're born
At least now Ebur has an excuse to return to her, saying she'd have valuable input on caring for them
That doesn't stop his siblings from teasing him about possibly wanting to see her again and being in love (they're right, but he's not about to admit it)
Also the moment he accidentally let's her name slip he's not gonna hear the end of it

"...Can't I join your hunts anyway? You hunted by yourself while pregnant, didn't you?"
"I did, but I was also alone, I had no choice. You shouldn't have to choose between your children's safety and finding food. We live as a family for a reason, what would we be but animals if we don't take care of each other? I'm not letting you or your young live like lone nomads when you have us."
They also hunt more since Ebur needs more food, especially later down the line, and if anybody complains she's gonna cut that shit down SO fast
"I don't want to hear it! Ebur and the brood they're carrying are your kin, so start acting like it and have some damn respect. Do you think Ebur would be here complaining if the roles were reversed? Do you think they wouldn't care for you when you need it? We're a family, we take care of each other, in sickness and in health. Your sibling and his children need you. If that's a problem for you, you're free to leave and live as a nomad, but as long as you follow me and are a part of this family I don't want to hear any complaining, got it?"

"Instead of apologising to me make yourself useful. And treat your siblings kinder, one day you might be the one who needs their help so you better hope your words don't come back to bite you then."
Adamas is a strict parent but very much loves her family and it's so important to her that they take care of each other <3

Also once he's much further along he digs himself a separate den and slowly moves in there, it worries his siblings but Adamas assures them it's normal, wyrms prefer to be alone in the first few days before and after giving birth
"Are you sure they're okay? Can't they stay with us?"
"Pff, would you prefer to get growled at and possibly mauled every time you come into your den? They'll be fine, don't worry."
His siblings go out hunting and gathering more often after that and finally give him lots and lots of warm and soft bedding for his new den
"Since you'll sleep alone we thought you and the baby could use some warmer bedding."
And he can't help but smile and wag his tail
Wondering if wyrms would have a word for aunt/uncle and what would it be?? Obviously not auncle, since aunt and uncle aren't wyrm temrs

Anyway, his siblings would notice he stopped eating, only stays in his den, and would bring it up to Adamas
Her ear just twitches and she looks over at his den, "...Seems the little one will arrive any moment, then."

"How can you tell?"
"I also stopped eating like two to three days before I had you or any of my previous litters. It's normal. Just give them some space, they're going to be especially irritable now."
Then one night one of them wakes up and immediately wakes the others, as Adamas isn't in the den. They peek out to look for her and find her just sitting nearby and staring at Ebur's den
"...Dame? Why aren't you in the nest?"
"Quiet down. Do you smell that?"
They pause to scent the air
"...blood?"
"...It's been a while," She gets up and dusts herself off, "I'll go check up on your sibling, you keep watch for me. Don't come too near, he's probably stressed as is."
She approaches his den and they see her quietly talking before she disappears inside. They keep watch as promised, though all of them are fidgety and uneasy, pacing and shifting around, trying to chat to pass the timd
After what feels like forever though one of them tells them to shut up for a moment and when they do they can hear very faint cries coming from the den
They wait with held breaths and eventually Adamas stalks out of the den holding bloodied bedding (to a group of nervous wyrms looking at her like 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁, almost makes her laugh)
"...so?"
"So what?"
"Dame, please-"
She snickers, "There's two."
They all seem excited, which makes her smile
"How are they?"
"Ebur is fine. One of the wyrmlings is strong, and the furstborn..." She trails off, swishing her tail, "They'll make it, if they survive this night."
The five visibly deflate at the news
"...Are they gonna...?"
"Only time will tell. Like I said, if they survive this night they should be okay. Don't repeat this to Ebur, though, they've had enough of hardships for one night," She turned to leave, "I'll go burry these sheets. You five, go hunt for your sibling and their young, they're going to need the strength. I'll look after them."
They hurry off, a hunt seems like a good opportunity to blow off some steam
When they return, Adamas shows them how to thinly mince the meat for the the newborns before she delivers the food to Ebur and his kids
That's pretty much the norm for the next few days, Adamas is the only one who he allows into the den so she updates the siblings on the situation and stays with him while they go hunting
The day after, after they made their hunt for the day and Adamas once again disappears into their sibling's den with the food, was probably the most stressful. The five waited for her for what seemed like eternity and immediately pounce on her for info like young wyrmlings the second she's out
"Won't you five calm your tails?! Your sibling and their young are fine."
"And the firstborn?"
"They're doing much better and seem strong. You can stop panicking."
Though they're less intense about this afterwards, everytime Adamas leaves the den she's met with five wyrms staring at her and eagerly awaiting any updates
"Do they have names yet?"
"Ebur said they did pick already, you'll learn them once you meet the younglings"
"UUUUGHHH"
"MAAAAN"
"Stop being dramatic, it's only a few more days"
The five also get an idea to make the twins little clothes so they can stay warm and cosy
They get to gift them to Ebur once they finally meet the little ones
One day, after nearly a week, Adamas leaves the den to see the five wyrms once again waiting on her and she sighs heavily before smiling
"Alright, who wants to meet the babies?"
And they all get SO excited, before she has to remind them to keep calm to not spook their sibling or his kids
They go into the den one by one, which is thankfully big enough for all of them, where Ebur is laying in the corner, curled up around two little sleepy boundless and purring to them
His siblings are just awe struck at the babies and coo to them, showering them and Ebur with so many compliments
"They look a little odd for wyrmlings though, don't they?"
Io proceeds to get very roughly jabbed in the side by Fossor
"Ow, what the hell?!"
"Don't be an ass. Obviously they're not full wyrms, idiot, they're going to look different."
Though none of them is yet to clock that they're half-root
They get the babies thick clothes so they can crawl outside the den (under incredibly strick supervision by all 7 of their family members) once they're big enough
"Ebur, quit grooming them! They won't combust into flames if they have a speck of dirt or snow on them!"

The rest of the family give them some privacy so they can have a proper reunion and Amanita can meet her children

Scoops all three of them up and nuzzles him, looks at them as if they're her whole world
"Oh, my darling, they're so beautiful, so perfect...I love them..." She whispers, her breath caught in her throat for a moment, "...I love you."
His heart skips a beat and he nuzzles in close and kisses her cheek, "I love you too..."
And the babies are gonna ruin the moment and squeaking in protest about being held <3
"ooohhh my little sprouts, I need to plant you in my den and watch you grow big and strong youre so precious~"
"wait like. Actually bury them??"
"A little yeah. They should be able to root I think"

it was your mistake to mention that you'd love the cute pig plushie, because he spends quarter after quarter determined to get you it.
it gets to the point that you end up leaving to go get you both a soda, seeing how he won't even move from the machine.
with his last failed attempt, he slams his fist against the side of the machine, impossibly frustrated and out of quarters.
but, fate seems to be on his side, as the metal panel guarding the inside of the machine falls as a result of his punch.
can you really blame him for reaching his arm inside and taking a plush or two? or three? or... all of them?
he carries as much as he can, excited to show you. he can see you in the distance, only a little bit more, just a little—

"john!", your voice rings out even in the police car. he sees you, standing in the middle of the mountain of plushies. he sees as you pick up the prized pig plush, holding it in your arms.
"thank you!", you shout, smiling at him and waving. he tries to wave back, but resorts to shaking his head left and right, indulging in the laugh it pried from you.
even as the police car starts to move, his feelings are replaced with more welcomed ones: feelings for you.
he would take you mostly on casual dates when you start dating. you would go to places like arcades, fairs, and the like. cute picnic dates with each other, just talking and loving each other's company.
cute couple that ends up getting kicked out of every establishment they go to.

he knows he outdid himself with this one, and he knows that it's gonna impress you. still... you look sort of... bored—? well, no matter. he didn't pay the chef just for them not to have any tricks up their sleeve.
date goes well, because of course it did. still, as he walks you to your home, you look... less impressed than he hoped for.
did he do something wrong? did you not like the food? did you hate the restaurant—?,

she had to practically chain them to a street lamp to be able to go with you on the date, and still, two guys in employee uniforms seem to be glaring at you an awful lot huh...
but anyways! the date is great! you both spend time with each other and take turns bowling. a fun sort of competition evolves from every passing round. she's... happy. she's really, really happy with you. and it's like she never wants it to end.
alas, a rumble of her stomach catches you both off-guard, resulting in a light chuckle from you and an embarrassed blush from her.
enjoying a burger, fries, and coke, you both sit together playing footsies in the food court. except, no good thing lasts for long.
a stray fry passes by your table, hitting someone behind you on the head. yet, despite doing something about it, the person simply cowers further in fear.
then, another fry. and another. and then a soda cup splatters hard and fast against them, covering them in a sticky, brown liquid. it's disgusting. it's revolting. and remi can barely stand to see it.
yet, for some reason, you grip tightly onto your own soda cup and stand up, your face obscured by the overhead light.
there's no way. no way you're gonna join in this, right? you were better than this, right? you wouldn't stoop to their level. no. no, how could you—?
your own soda cup slams against the face of the perpetrator, a sticky, orange fluid plastered all over them.
after the shock, remi's face almost shines. maybe, maybe you aren't like everyone else. she was right about you. and she's so happy she was.
takes you on classic dates. sharing a milkshake or pasta in a small diner is only one of her many ideas for you both. also likes going to fairs and carnivals, she'll win you so many plushies.
sweet couple that gives everyone diabetes with how cute you are.
Blyke
tries to do something similar to arlo and fails miserably.
first date at a fancy restaurant but he shows up 15 minutes late covered in dirt and mud on his suit.
ask him what happened and he'll brush off the fact that he lost his phone in the sewer drain and bought a fishing rod to get it out and it worked until he accidentally flung both fishing rod and phone into a tree that he had to climb but didn't realize was being actively cut down and got stuck on a semi-truck as he fell and terrifyingly slid off until he bounced and bumped and conveniently landed right in front of the restaurant.
but don't worry! just a few scratches and stains and oh, is there a bird in his hair?
sits down and— "pfft, do you see them?", huh?
"please, what an embarrassment. people like that shouldn't be here, they ruin it for everyone."
...y'know what? fuck them. it doesn't matter. he's here with you, and he won't ruin it by getting angry. he shouldn't be mad. don't get mad—
and suddenly, a cup of water is thrown at the talking man.
"hey! keep your ass out of our business! what makes you think you can talk about us when you're balding at, what, 30?"
after a few more comments comparing the man to mr. clean and a couple profanities later, you're both thrown out of the restaurant with nothing but the clothes on your back.
"psh, assholes. let's go, blyke.", "go? what do you mean?", you smile at him, standing up and offering your hand. "our date isn't over just yet."

takes you on gym dates. just gym dates. only gym dates. and maybe a few coffee dates or dates at the beach.
superhero couple with all the energy of a shonen anime and the bad decisions to show for it.

think about it, it's casual enough to not be taken too seriously but also enough activities to make it seem like he's putting in more effort than he really is.
he's a genius, isn't he?
sometime during the date, you both go inside a stationary store. there, he might've just met the love of his life.
a pen, no, the pen. everything from the smell, to the sleek style, to the vibrant red and black accents. it's beautiful. but he'll be damned if he's spending $300 on a singular pen, even he has his limits.
so, after staring longingly at it, he leaves along with you to the next place. it's fine, surely nothing wrong could happen now—
"hey! you there with the bad haircut!", huh? first of all, rude—
the security guard yells at him, telling him that he apparently stole the valued pen at the stationary store. that the cameras saw him looking at it and they know it was him.
not only is the dude embarrassing him in front of you, but his integrity is being called into question.
why is it always him? can't he have a simple day without things going wrong? he didn't even do anything! why is it always his fault—?
you step in front of isen, almost to protect him. "he wouldn't do that, he isn't like that. just because he was looking at it doesn't mean he did it. you don't even know him, not like how i do."
..? you're taking his side? even after what the security guard said?
his thoughts are stopped as the store owner comes up to the security guard, saying that after checking the cameras, someone with invisibility probably took it.
the security guard stops, looking rightfully embarrassed. "s-sorry, then. my mistake." what an—
"asshole. you think we're forgiving you that easily. you better start groveling right now, you pig."
... you're worse than him... which is kinda hot.
instead of taking you on dates, you both just do everything together. if he needs help with the press team, then you're the first person he's going to. if he needs to share a secret that's been weighing him down, then you're always there to lend an ear.
annoying couple that pisses everyone off in 0.420 seconds.

Stalker!Lukas has definitely been on Twitter since day one, and he likes to lurk other profiles even if he doesn't follows them because he thinks knowledge is power, so eventually, one day he's on Stewy Hosseini's page and he's going over his whole feed, because Stewy is a private equity investor and well, you should always follow the money, and that's how he learns about reader, she's barely opened her account and hasn't even been verified, but since Stewy reblogs her and has full conversations with her, Lukas just knows she's well connected. Cut to him actually clicking on her profile and seeing her full name, so, he Googles her, back then he really doesn't know who the Roys are because he's in Sweden and it's a completely different world. Of course he spends the whole night reading about the family and their business. He reads her whole feed and finds every social media account she's ever had and reads everything over a few days, he downloads pictures, videos, anything he can get his mitts on, even content from her friends' accounts. He finds a private investigator in the US to follow her and keep him posted on her activities, Lukas basically puts the PI's kids through college with how much money he pays him over the span a few years. He slowly but surely starts scheming how to approach the Roys, since he had that PI on lock he also has so much info on the family that he knows when to attack and how to make it look like it happened naturally, even getting invited to Ken's party seems like it was not something that was years in the making. He knows he has just one chance to get her, so he makes sure he uses all of his knowledge to make her fall for him
this is so good- literally so accurate to his character
I can just imagine Lukas hunched over his desk in a hoodie going through every piece of information he can find on her for days straight. He makes a ton of dummy accounts to keep things from being traced back to him, he goes far enough to use his technology skills to get into her friends private accounts and get more information that way. He has a whole folder on his desktop full of screenshots and photos and videos and articles. But the folder is just labeled with a heart emoji, not even her name (because he’s already that delusional about her.)
He finds a really well connected PI (maybe pn the dark web lol) to keep tabs on her in person, and he puts this man through the wringer. If he finds out she went to an event and the PI didn’t get pictures of her he gets so upset. Full on “WAKE UP ZOMBIES!!” mode. His obsession just grows and grows, to the point that he starts interacting with entertainment companies in America in order to begin entering the same social and business circles as her. He does it so well that things look natural. By the time he gets the invite to Kendall’s birthday party, he’s more than ready to finally seal the deal.
I’d go as far as saying that even their first meeting is ser up by him. He sees the scene that Roman and Shiv cause at not being let into the VIP area, sees you following Kendall up into the treehouse, and perfectly positions himself in what will be your direct line of sight. And he acts all casual and bored, pulling up the first game on his phone that he can find and quickly drinking his beer to make it look half-full. But when he sees you for the first time in person he’s freaking out internally and having to sneakily hide his growing erection.

Roman and Gerri are a dynamic that is hard to handle and I'm not saying there is a definitive answer but I am saying that one can't just conveniantly leave out important dots that were made to be connected. Not denying that there is fondness between them, their humor and general assholery seems to be on the same wave length, which is why they enjoy the company they keep, but this is a deeply exploitative dynamic on both ends for different reasons. I wrote way too much about this, but here it goes-
Gerri's perspective:
Before their brief phone conference era, Gerri fixes the rocket launch disaster for him and notices that he takes to her because of it; think of him calling her about Vaulter. After the Hunting insanity he asks her advice which is when she realy knows there is something to be had here and then the phone call happens, which... look. Is there ever an indication Gerri enjoys this on the sexual gratification (not attraction, but I'll get there) level that Roman does? Not really, she can't quite believe it, finds it funny/ interesting but it is simply also such a perfect bonus to know this Roy sibling is with her while Kendall is out and god knows what Shiv might be up to. On the yacht he is also the one to defend her right away about cruises which on one hand, sure, is because they are fond of each other but you can't deny how conveniant that is as well. Throwing her weight behind Roman also seems to be paying off during season 3, he literally causes her to be interim CEO by nuking his own chances. It all blows up though with the dick pic, something that is implied Gerri isn't comfortable with (rightfully so, obviously) but seems to have maybe accepted for a time because of their "alliance". But when it all blows up, especially towards the end, she turns her back because it isn't worth it. "How does it serve my interests" is a fun callback but it is also quite literally the entire summary of Gerri's approach to the relationship. She might feel sorry in a way, but season 4 clearly shows how she does not talk to Roman after this, does not interact if she doesn't have to. Like, why would she comfort Roman on the boat, he just tried to fucking fire her and then he actually fires her because he is spiraling. The last real interaction between them has to be at the election party, because at that point it isn't just 90% business for Gerri, it's 101%. She will get something out of this and, honestly, good for her that she gets re-hired in the end; if anything she was made for this type of environment. It actually speaks to her character that she isn't into the funeral recording, a very human moment but it's important that that is the only thing we get from her on screen. What about the script? Sorry, didn't really happen, did it and it is for the best. (I would have found it insane if Gerri was the one to get through to Roman when Shiv can't, like, no)
Roman's perspective:
Not exactly news that he can't seperate business and family; getting the top spot is literally earning daddy's love and the only motivation for Roman in the first place. So, in comes Gerri, a person he has known for a long time (I want to let the implication "since childhood" slide, because that sounds unnecessarily creepy, but just know I have considered it), and she fixes his mess and holds out a helping hand. She provides guidance that he wants from his father but can't have, because it makes him weak and therefore less in Logan's eyes. He keeps reaching for Gerri in the way that, in an ideal world, he would for his father. But, and this is the most important thing, Roman goes to Gerri whenever he fails to perform masculinity (= heteronormativity=business). Dad calls him a moron? Gerri. Failed phone sex with Tabitha? Gerri. Failed sex with Tabitha? Gerri. Tabitha didn't want his proposal (it's not how you get someone to stay), maybe Gerri does. This is so interesting, because that is the text pretty directly pointing out that whatever Roman and Gerri have is neither romantic nor sexual attraction; because this is in many ways what he had with Grace and Tabitha- only this time it is someone who can actually fill out the paternal role (not mommy, never mommy) because of the business side of things that parallel Logan. Gerri playing into the humiliation kink on the phone is paralleled by Roman listening to dead Logan's fake voice message. And when he sent that dick pic to Gerri but it ended up with Logan... do you really need me to go on?
On a side note; isn't it interesting that any form of "sexual" interaction between Roman and Gerri needs this layer of seperation- phone call, screen, or bathroom door, a home video on the TV (okay that one isn't sexual anyways but still), you get to pick. And then in season 4 he can't even look at her... well. Season 4 also generally cashes in on the Logan and Gerri parallel; when she tells him "i could have gotten you there" and walks out on him a few days after his father, who had just made a business related promise, died..huh. And when she walks into Waystar at the very end, unaware of him, it might as well be Logan's ghost which is why Roman reacts the way he does after.
tl;dr: This ain't romantic or sexual, and it is a shame to not afford it the complexities of being fucked up; it's also not some doomed romance like... no. Gerri kinda got what she wanted in the end, Roman didn't. Shouldn't. At least he's out.

Yang hyunsuk has been imprisoned for 3 years sooooooo we're possibly being fooled again with the debut news because my gut says its 2024 due to ygs business tactics as it is the BP disbandment rumours have been going around and his own legal case if messing up the image of the company like dude we heard the same things a month or two back about them debuting in September and we got nothing.there is gonna be a MASSIVE change in the group which will prolly lead them to once again plan shit properly for them,when that happens there will possibly be success and the girls will be fine.

They are working hard on the debut, adding some finishong touches but the Judgement rev is giving me a bad feeling. A possible scandal may happen. When I asked about the Judgement I got Six of Cups so it's something someone did when they were younger or it's one of the younger members (or a water sign).
What is this scandal? The fool, Nine of Wands, Ten of Pentacles rev, Temperance, Six of Pentacles (when I asked about this Six of Pentacles I got: Three of Cups, Knight of Wands and Two of Cups). King of Cups rev (I asked more about the KoC rev and I got: The Hanged Man, The Hermit, Ace of Pentacles, Nine of Swords.
Ok.. I lokey feel someone payed their way into the group (allegedly for entertainment purposes only). Or that some money is involved. So the person represented by the Six of Cups is the King of Cups rev. This person is pretty bratty, emotionally immature, snarky and probably pretty sensitive. They are like more withdrawn and hidden then the other members (I'm picturing if everyone else were to take a picture she would have an attitude and sit in the corner, I'm also imagining the members being like "what's up with her/ what's her problem".) She may have anxiety or she is causing issues in the group. With the Hanged Man she doesn't gaf because she's all like " You can't kick me out because my dad/family funds this company, blah blah blah". She most likely has connections with YG. I feel that the others are working really hard meanwhile behind the scenes she's all like "whatever" and doesn't give in as much as everyone else does leaving everyone frustrated. The energy is quite rocky here and it seems to be causing some issues. This person may be doing risky things or being immature (picture everyone at Niagra falls right, everyone is staying where they are supposed to be meanwhile this one is walking over the fine rop, silly example but that's what I'm getting here.) Very bold idgaf energy.

Taxi driver Dokja/ Famous model and streamer Joonghyuk
Kim Dokja is a taxi driver after his contract ends at Minosoft. Dokja knows how awkward taxi rides can be. Dokja is also really good at reading people and their moods, so he uses this to his advantage. He talks if it seems someone wants to and stays quiet and turns up the radio on other times.
Joonghyuk is a famous streamer/ model. The car that his manager had set up for him hasn't appeared yet and his appointment is in 15 minutes. While he doesn't want to be recognized, he also needs to be at the office.
So he hails a taxi.
Joonghyuk expects the man in the taxi to know him. People always ask for autographs or a picture. Instead, the man looks at him and asks, “where you headed?”
“Minosoft company building.”
The man nods and inputs the directions.
The car ride is peaceful. There is gentle music playing that Joonghyuk doesn't recognize. It's not the pop that plays everywhere. He enjoys it.
He looks down to see the phone is connected to the audio port, this wasn't a station.
“Ah- I can change to a station if you'd like.”
“No need.”
And then that was it. That was the interaction. There were no prying questions of why he was headed to the Minosoft company. There were no questions of his outfit nor comments on his looks.
It was a smooth and peaceful ride. It was... Enjoyable.
When Joonghyuk got off, he made sure to discreetly get the cab number.
If Joonghyuk gave the cab’s number to his manager and told her to offer the driver a job as his personal chauffeur, then that was nobody's business.
6 months later, he has a new contact in his phone.

His manager, Han Sooyoung, was the one who added the heart and she threatened to quit if he ever changed the contact. Joonghyuk didn't need the threat. He quite liked the heart next to Dokja’s name and it matched what Dokja had in his contacts.

Felix will appear at the end but its when Lila gets expose on live across the international television connection. Where Alya, Caline, and Bustier recieved lawsuits/getting fired by the School Board. As for Adrien he will be pulled out of school by Gabriel and give him some minor lessons of how to get rid of bullies instead of enabling them.

Chloe was at home getting some school footage since the Principal doesn't seem to check it anymore ever since she got suspended as well the same day that Marinette got hers. She told her dad about it and boy he wasn't very happy. Right now she is in her room using her own computer but she is a computer expert but also has a habit to hack into other people's social account along with bank accounts but she can also make sure to mask her evidence without getting caught. She was taught by this by her older brother Michael who is still in college back in Los Angeles last time she remembered. Michael Bourgeois is taking up business in his college year so he can help his mom Audrey Bourgeois but can turn the family company into a CEO Corporation as well if he wants to.
Then as for Sabrina well she had no idea how she got suspended which really pissed her off. "Stupid principal, and curse that lying bitch." She mutter darkly she despises all five people they are The Principal, Miss Bustier, Alya Cesaire, Adrien Agreste, and Lila herself. Sabrina told her father the truth and her father was not very happy at all he send a complaint towards the School Board to do something to the Principal in Francoise Dupont who had decided to suspend his daughter for nothing.
Sabine wasn't happy after hearing this from her daughter that the Principal decided to suspend her for nothing. She wanted to strangle old fat man. So she decided to send a complaint towards the School Board as well. Also ranting about her daughter who was expelled as well for extra measurements.

Chloe stared at the school footage in shock she found at least five clips one of them happen to be Rossi grabbing the akuma at the courtyard, the second was Rossi threatening Dupain-Cheng, the third Rossi threatening her Adrikins, the fourth was Rossi placing the Gabriel Fox Necklace on Dupain-Cheng's locker, and lastly Rossi fake fall on the stairs that made Dupain-Cheng get expelled. "Holy shit! I knew that DC was innocent! Stupid Principal can't even check the cameras what the hell?!" She exclaimed.
She even has the list that Dupain-Cheng and Beaureal gave her about the Principal is imposing as the School Board to mostly students who tries to send a complaint towards the School Board this really disgust her the most. "Oh boy, Daddy is not going to be about this one. Now lets see what else did that stupid principal do.. I notice those owl heroes stuff in his office. I'mma check some of the school funds transcriptions." She muttered to herself.
Back with Marinette she was chatting with someone who had experience with Lila Rossi in their old school before moving to a new school as a fresh start.

I also really relate that BBDW turned around my opinion on Nu. I have a thing where it's obviously not like I inherently dislike characters who are pretty horrible and insane (a lot of my favorite BB characters are exactly this) but they have to have more complexity and ability to make their personality work with the story that's going on and especially when Nu came back in CP/CF I was left kinda like "why did they do that :/" and just kind of viewed it as them bringing her back for gameplay/people like her purposes which annoyed me. I think I could best describe it as what you were saying about Nu being a very static character who doesn't have any interesting dynamics or threads in the story beyond Ragna and general PFD stuff and now (at the time in my eyes) they were trying to shove her back into a plot that had gotten VERY busy since her death in CT. But BBDW at least made her revival make sense enough so I could begin to drop my gripe that Nu was a character they were trying to push back into the story for no reason and then I was able to be more open to them changing her to flesh her out as a character more. It was just one of the many things they were playing the long game on. Man this is just making me wish BBDW had a bit more time and now I'm getting sad lol there's a lot in CF that didn't make sense and kind of annoyed me that seemed like was getting answered or elaborated upon in DW.
I remember rumors going around that the original plan was to leave Nu, and later Lambda, dead after their respective games. The general story goes “Mori intended to have Nu’s story end there, but since BB is a fighting game and fans wanted their main back, Lambda was developed to replace her. She was also intended to die permanently after her story, but then BOTH of them were popular, so there was a studio push to bring both back.”
I haven’t found a source on this, though, so who knows. If it is true, that there was some executive meddling behind how it all happened, an interesting connection could be drawn to Mori’s latest interview about Studio Flare- where one of the studio philosophies his company is dedicated to is that they won’t prioritize audience requests or market desires over the integrity of the story they want to tell. I also recently heard some rumors that Central Fiction’s development was rushed to release in time for ESports, which led to a lot of scenes being cut, character arcs being rushed or dropped, etc. If true, that too would add some perspective on BlazBlue’s progression as a whole and on the growing rift between Mori and Arc System Works.
However, as I said, for now these are just rumors. They paint an interesting narrative, but don’t take them at face value until we can source some of these claims.
True or not, my point here is that you’re MORE than onto something here- Nu was an incredible character with a solid arc and death that just… have you ever read the Iliad? You know that scene where Hektor’s corpse is tied to a chariot and dragged in circles around the city? Nu post-CT felt a lot like that… Whatever the executive intentions were, she was being kept alive in the story long past the point where she needed to be left to rest.
Which, as you touched on, really made the situation in BBDW all the more impactful. It felt to me like, as a character and narrative asset, she was finally being approached with real intention. Like, she was being written, as a full character, who needed care, purpose, and narrative intent- all of which were finally being given to her, whereas in the C-series proper she had subsisted entirely on gameplay necessity/utility.
This makes me start to wonder how it could have been done better. I can understand both competing needs- her story is over, the narrative needs her gone, but as a character in a fighting game the game itself needs her to stay. Perhaps I’m naive, but the answer seems simple: keep her out of the story but leave her as an unlockable character for the fighting game portion only.
The biggest problem left in that solution is that newer players would lack context, but that seems like more of an opportunity than anything. Give her an arcade mode and/or story mode that is an engaging retelling of her arc from Calamity Trigger. If you’re really worried, add some kind of note/page/thing at the start or end of her route that briefly explains that this character’s story is from a previous game. Then you’ve turned your issue (her not being in the story, confusing her new players) into profit (it’s a fucking advertisement now. You want to see this cool new waifu you found??? awesome, here’s some stuff for her, if you want more go buy our other game where she’s in the spotlight!)
It’s kind of like, she had been failed/messed up so bad, that the amazing way she was handled in BBDW really surprised me. It’s so easy for any writer or studio to end up in a position where a character is written into a corner and they just… stay underwhelming forever. There’s not always the need or the time to go back and try to improve things. That, too, I would assume, was part of Mori’s desire to make BBDW and later his own studio. I’ve spoken several times about my thoughts on mobile games being a unique market that allows for more writer freedom and more room to take chances than mainline video games right now- and Mori’s interview heavily implies that Studio Flare was designed to try to free himself and his coworkers from the current industry norms.
Ultimately, like you, god DAMN do I mourn BBDW. For that exact reason, really. We both know Mori has a lot more to say about the world of BlazBlue, HE knows these stories were left unfinished, and BBDW was probably the best chance any of us would have to get those stories told. With the death of the game, it seriously looks like the rest of BlazBlue will forever be buried somewhere between the depths of Mori’s mind and all the red tape of intellectual property law.

idk if you've talked about it already but i'm gonna ask the question anyways: how do you see the dynamic / relationship between apollo and rachel?
I don't think I have!! It's mostly been rotating in my head like a 7/11 hotdog rolling around under a heat lamp. That is to say, I haven't given it intense development so much as it's been ✨vibes✨ in my head. That being said, I think the dynamic has evolved quite a bit through TOA due to, in essence, Apollo's growth and his humbling as Lester.
Obviously beforehand, the dynamic between Rachel and him was much more boss-employee-esque, but when he was turned into Lester, it really enriched the dynamic. I think Apollo connects with people more truthfully and more sincerely now, which allows him in turn to connect that way better with Rachel, seeing her not just as his oracle, but as a person –– in fact, a friend. The way I see it in my head is she did give him that support to be brave and to do what has to be done.
Because I view the Oracle's powers as slowing down Rachel's aging, I am very much interested in the idea that Apollo and her would be side-by-side for a lot of that. I think after his re-ascension, Rachel has secret hopes that with him being a bit mortal in his heart, that means he might visit more. With everyone so busy, I think Rachel does get lonely often, even if she doesn't acutely feel it, and I think that could be mitigated by having Apollo around. They have good chemistry together, and I think they both enjoy each other's company and banter.
I also think with the stipulation of her not being able to date, it would make sense for Apollo to give the exception to... well, himself. Because if she was dating him, she'd be dedicated to him. Admittedly, it may seem like there's a power dynamic there, and it's something that Rachel might have to put her foot down about and be like, hey –– if we break up, you can't take these powers back. But somehow, after everything he's been through as Lester, she really does doubt he'd do that. Then again, Gods are immortal so, it's always good to have insurance.
TLDR: I really want to explore it, but I do kinda see it as a friends to lovers sort of thing that grows naturally. I also think Rachel would make the first move because she's not a coward.

Helloooooooo. Can I request vampire couple Jeankasa? Just them being a mysterious couple who travel the world together and enjoying their time af whatever town they are in for a couple of decades! Everyone thinks they are intimidating in all black but they are really just minding their business and sticking together since they have no one but themselves!
ohayyo as well to you! tbh years in the witcher fandom really warped my perception of vampires so i dont see them as these stereotypical refined creatures but rather entitled reclusives? so most of the vampire trait im going to be basing off the witcher lore
Jean and Mikasa never met in their human lifes — not only they were divided by distance between their homelands but also by centuries between their birthdates. So their first encounter happened pretty late on in their vampiric lifes when both of them accumulated enough of experience as the undead creatures.
They just walked on their shared territiry where they felt each other's presence — a surprise for both of them since they've spent the majority of their lifes not crossing paths with their brethren.
The search for each other was a long one. Mainly because each of them was searching in wrong places. Accustomed to company of humans and often mingling with them, Jean was looking for a fellow vampire in public places, be it social gatherings, soirees or festivities. Mikasa's first instinct, on the other hand, was to look in the desolated wilderness or outskirts of town where she herself liked to spend her time.
They did eventually stumble upon each other, past the point of hoping to find each other at that point. The encounter couldn't be furthest away from their expectations, though. Awkward and silent, to say the least. Accustomed to hiding their secrets, it was rare for them to finally embrace their true nature for the first time in centuries.
Ultimately, this very trait (vampirism) became their bonding ground. To the best of their knowledge, they were the only ones of their kind in their world. A world that is quite hostile to the creatures such as them and that would ostracize them (not to mention harm) if the truth gets out. So they were the only ones for each other and their secrets.
In comparison to Mikasa, Jean is a product of later centuries and more open culture and therefore finds it easier to connect with humans. When going to town, it's Jean who engages in all of the talking, Mikasa preferring to stay aside and enjoying the privilege of not having to settle various matters herself.
As for hunting for blood — the years of being a vampire didn't harden Jean's heart quite enough to the extent of chasing after humans and potentially killing them in the feeding process. So the "lovely" task of searching for food is left to Mikasa, her vampiric abilities honed to perfection for such job. Doesn't mean that she basks in human sufferings — to her it is a mere necessity, compulsory harm.
With the centuries spent witnessing the human atrocities and being exposed to the overall cruelty of the world, Mikasa's grown to love and value beautiful things. There's no major place on Earth where Jean and Mikasa haven't set their foot in search of testaments to the human or nature's creativity . Upon arriving into the new city, Jean and Mikasa would embark on their thrilling journey of combing the location from top to bottom, looking for places of interest and leaving no stone unturned and unadmired.
The rumors of the new-comers only grow and soon enough the humans may notice the strange oddity of Jean and Mikasa as they don't seem to age. That's why the couple has to switch locations every ten years or so, before the humans catch the wind of their supernatural abilities. Constant changes sadden Mikasa greatly as she is not accustomed to shifts in her life and would much prefer to stay at one place together with Jean. To ease her heavy heart, Jean presents Mikasa with album full of his sketches portraying their favorite places in the city they are to leave. So that the memories would stay with Mikasa — especially if they were penned in paper by the skillfull hand of her beloved.
Speaking of capturing the beauty of things — their vampiric nature, although great in almost every other aspect, robs Jean and Mikasa of their reflections in the mirror. It's not a particular grievance for Mikasa who throughout the course of her undead life got used to such inconvenience but it is for Jean. To him, her beauty is to be immortalized and since even the modern cameras don't do her justice and also fail to capture her appearance — only fair to do it himself. Luckily, Jean is skilled enough to perpetuate Mikasa's refined features on paper. Each evening Mikasa finds yet another drawing of her in Jean's albums, his view of her extremely complimentary to her. With a wish to replicate Jean's appearance the way he so effortlessly does hers, Mikasa asks him to teach her to draw. Maybe the first sketches do not come out as crisp and sentimental as Mikasa wants them to be, Jean doesn't let her inexperience upset her — after all, they have the whole eternity for themselves to hone that to perfection.

80s business mash is a medical equipment company. They're located somewhere in the US, maybe New York City, because it's the most 80s business city, but it might not ever be specified.
Henry Blake ran their department. He never seemed to do very much work, but they were the highest-earning division in the company, so no one cared. He had hoping to transfer to a regional plant and had finally been approved, but he was sent on one last overseas business trip and ended up on Pam Am Flight 103. Some of the guys are still in touch with his widow, Lorraine.
Potter has run the department since Henry's death. He's old school, and a little paternalistic, but Margaret will call him out if he gets sexist. He's been with the company for a long time and they transferred him from another department. He's nearing retirement
By some combination of connections and luck, Frank is number two in the department despite total incompetence. He was hoping to get a promotion after Henry's death, but the company brought in Sherman Potter instead, which Frank sees as a slight. He's hoping to get promoted once Potter retires. Frank is married, but had an affair with Margaret, and still isn't quite over her ending it.
Charles is highly qualified, and was transferred in from a branch elsewhere because his old boss found him irritating. Technically holds the same title as Frank, and they share responsibilities. Frank believes the company is trying to replace him with Charles. The official line is Charles was added to keep pace with rapid growth. Charles is independently wealthy.
Trapper, Hawkeye, and BJ all have the same position, and work together often. Trapper has worked there the longest. BJ is new, having recently been transferred from San Francisco, something he's not happy about because he had to move his family. BJ is seen a little bit less because he's religious about getting home on time. Hawkeye and Trapper have a still hidden in the boiler room. BJ knows where it is, but he doesn't drink during the workday.
Francis Mulcahy is a devout Catholic who may have attended seminary school before ending up in his current job. His role in the department is different than the others, and he's technically a lower level than Trapper, Hawkeye, and BJ.
Margaret also has a slightly different job. She's not paid as much as Frank or Charles, which she's unhappy about. Margaret and Hawkeye were once sent on a business trip together and were stuck in an airport hotel when their flight was cancelled and ended up sleeping together. They haven't really discussed it, but sometimes they get drunk and make out at office parties.
Radar is also in a technically lower role due to inexperience, but he's invaluable, especially to Henry and then Potter. Everyone thinks he's going places, but he's not overly ambitious. He just likes his job and does it well.
Klinger is in another lower position. He's not specialized like Radar, but he starts learning some of Radar's skills.
Kellye is the head of the secretaries and organizes them. She gets along well with the guys but she'll take them to task when necessary.
Oliver Jones, Ugly John, and Ginger Bayliss work in the department too.
Sidney is Hawkeye's therapist.

ok ok ok this isnt like a suggestion or a prompt or anything but like a thought exercise? but anyway--
the five people you meet in heaven, joe liebgott edition. make with this what you will.
this is rough bc truly The Five People You Meet in Heaven was one of my most loathed books I had to read in High School. Which is weird bc objectively I like everything in it and the concept is cool but oof I absolutely hated that book And The Things They Carried (again, should have liked it and Heartily didn't). Also The Great Gatsby, but I grew into really loving that book in my old age lol
BUT this is a good thought experiment, and I'm going to put it in a rivers context bc it's the context I know best. I am of the onion that Lieb d o e s go first (I love that I can Finally acknowledge that Web lives in this verse phew) so Web would Not be one of the Five. The way I'm imagining it is sort of like the book, where some connections are more abstract than others, because it's just true to how life is.
How I see it:
Lieb passes after a long, eventful life. It's peaceful, and it doesn't hurt.
His first level would be his first love, who was a woman named Carmen that he met his first year working for the cab company. She was a year older, was more well-off, and even if they didn't last long and ended badly they learned a lot of those very precious early secrets of life together, including navigating a dynamic that they couldn't necessarily be open about with their families.
The second level I see being someone like Tipper, who saw Lieb at one of the moments where the best of himself was coming through even in a horrible circumstance. Being given friendship, comfort, love in a terrible moment has a profound and lasting effect, and I think being reminded of that is key.
Vonn's wife would be his third. If you've read rivers, Vonn is the old man who runs the barber shop that Lieb comes to work at. My mind palace for him is very detailed, but suffice it to say Vonn's wife died maybe 10 years before Lieb came to the shop, and she had had a lot of concern over how Vonn would manage quality of life, company, and business without her, and she reminds Lieb of the effect he had on ensuring the old man had a place to be, had caring people around him, and felt loved.
In the fourth layer he meets the Young Man from Landsberg who he had interpreted for. Obviously that moment shifted the course of Lieb's life, and throughout the whole rest of it he had thought of that man often, never really knowing what happened to him. He finds that he lived a long, imperfect life filled with the same pain and beauty of every life, and that the fact that he was able to face it at all in spite of the horror he endured was a gift.
The fifth is the Most abstract, and I see it as one of Web's students who Lieb never met. The student was young, questioning, and one day accidentally caught sight of Lieb in Web's office on campus, the easy way that Lieb kissed the top of his head before ruffling his hair. It made the idea of loving the same gender less like an impossibility, made the thought of living authentically and happily, surrounded by others like you, seem somehow attainable.
He's led to Their House, which is their house free of imperfection, in Their City which is also All cities that they've loved together. He waits there, patiently, until one day Web walks through the front door.

(Fashion) Bildad née Crowley looks amazing. No notes.
(General Omens) This seems like it is shot to look like an old movie. Very Ben Hur, or 10 Commandments vibes. The wigs and costuming and framing is all very Vibey.
(General Omens) Can't help but notice that they are standing in front of a Great Divide. Also Bildad has 10 stripes on his robes. AVAUNT.
(Domestic Moments) There's a familiarity here. They last saw eachother during The Flood. There's already some kind of trust, or common ground. Neither is freaked out by the appearance of the other, and there's a dialogue without animosity. This is not The Way Of Things. They aren't Friends yet, but they are friendly.
(Aziraphale the Company Man) Clearly he's here to do his job. He didn't expect Crowley so I suppose he could have already had plenty of experience with intimidating other demons, as per the guidebook that we see Furfur has. Even so, he already shows that he can step in and out of The Show. Where was I? Avaunt.
(VFX) I love the effect for Angel!Aziraphale. It's beautifully done. And if you see how minimal of a set they were working with here, it's even more impressive.
(Aziraphale the Company Man) Definitely didn't expect that Satan and God were having tete a tetes. I love that he took the permit to get checked out.
('Allo 'Allo 'Allo) Muriel at her desk job. She's probably so excited to be useful.
(Fashion) Muriel doesn't have a pointed collar. She only has a round gold collar. Aziraphale has five pleats on his shoulder. Michael and Gabriel have wide and intricate collars. Not pointed exactly. (Aziraphale the Company Man) He is nervous to disagree, and yet he does. He clarifies what they mean and tries to (gently) tell them they are possibly wrong. He's still not up for getting in trouble, exactly, but he's not comfortable just letting things happen and following orders.
(Jim!Gabriel) K is the 11th letter. Jim, you know what alphabetical is but not what an author is?
(Aziraphale the Comfy) Our favorite hobbitty little introvert has someone in his space. It's so disconcerting. Do you let Jim!Gabe continue the madness and reshelve books in an insane and illogical way? Yes, yes you do because it is keeping him busy. But also you hate it and it is Wrong. I love cranky Aziraphale. He's soft, not weak.
(Aziraphale Insights) He knows immediately that there's something weird about Jim!Gabe singing. Angels don't seem to have any connection to music (another Az divergence) and it's not something there is any general reason to know. It's Unique Information of Undetermined Origin.
(Van Life Crowley) I wonder how far from London Soho this street is supposed to be? In real life it's in Edinburgh, which would be quite a commute. He's asleep in the Bentley and it looks even more uncomfortable than his usual positions.
(Crowley the Dork) Shax tells him that he's in trouble. His response is to go all Movie-narrator. I really didn't understand what a big dork he is the first few times though this.
(Crowley with a Purpose) Shax isn't sure that he knows he is being threatened. He's already been approached by Beeze, as a sort of good cop, so now Shax is playing bad cop. Do they know they have both approached Crowley at this point? Oh and the plants DO SHAKE. Poor Crowley has a tell. He's scared. The plants can sense it.

Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?
It largely depends on the company--if it's someone who might have known him, the story of how he met Jackie comes up--first time he met was sparring him, through Vik, and it's hard keeping his admiration for the other man out of his voice--just how highly he thought of him, even from their first meeting. "Well I thought he was an idiot, but one with a really big heart." He's not one to make terrible puns, he's the one to groan at them and go 'oh my god stop', but secretly enjoys them, and if he's at ease with someone, isn't above lightly teasing them. He's more inclined to pester people who are more stoic--try to get a rise out of them, and see a little crack in the armor, whether it's humor, or just plain annoyance, doesn't seem to matter to him.
Avi:
How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?
Avi rarely envys, being in a position where material goods are in ample supply, and scarcely require effort to acquire. He usually isn't envious of things, being more likely to go out and get the object he desires, and has the resources to do so efficiently. Although he's good at keeping it hidden, he finds himself more envious of others and their connections--the ease with which they relate to one another, or grow close. He's skilled at business negotiations, and has the social graces to handle the life of a Corpo with ease, but his ability to connect on a personal level to others is lacking, and there's few that tolerate him in that sense. He's not an easy person to know, and finds it profoundly isolating, even if it's seperation that he's partially caused. In terms of the latter, it mannifests in him trying to find those connections, even if he's not consciously aware he's doing it--always seeking, looking for someone.
Ares:
Why do they get up in the morning?
Ares gets up with the desire to see what the next day holds. She's the one of the siblings with the most idylic upbringing, and even though the nomad life wasn't easy, she was never wanting for love or a community with which she felt accepted, and grew up with an ample supply of both. She's fairly content with her lot in life, and has many passions that occupy her thoughts, traveling, planning her next foray to the city, or working on mechs, both as personal projects, and for eddies. She's also been teaching herself guitar, and likes to practice in the evenings. There's a sense of curiosity and wonder that she's always had, the want to see more, keep digging until she finds something new, and always enjoying the journey, even if it doesn't take her where she expects. She has a sense of altruism, but it's usually on a smaller scale, not the type to advocate for change and drive it, but to help where she can, on a day to day basis, and leave spearheading movements to the people who are better at it.
For all of them: What trait of theirs do you admire most?
Hiro:
I admire Hiro's resilience, the ablity to keep getting up, even when he's knocked down, and just keep going--keep trying. He's been through so much, and hasn't let it shape him into a bitter, angry person, who lashes out at the world around him--tries to be better, and heal for himself, even if it's hard, and feels like a struggle sometimes.
Avi:
I admire Avi's drive, and how thoroughly he's able to examine a situation, and the level of deliberation he's capable of taking. He seldom does things on accident, and although he's more ruthless than I would be capable of, or are even slightly inclined to, he is determined, and has a keen business sense, and the capacity to love deeply, if he does some growing first.
Ares:
I admire Ares confidence, and self-assurance. It never approaches arrogance or cockiness, but there's a certain sense of knowing her worth, and not letting others bother her. She likes her--is happy with her, and that's good enough. That isn't to say she never doubts, but it's not something she lingers in, and has a steadiness to her that I deeply admire.
