I saw your last post and I think it would make the most sense for Branch to be homeschooled, at least at first. Given that he probably wont be on pare with his peers in terms of Rock Troll education I think he would need extra time and attention to get caught up. But that’s just my opinion.

You know what? Have a Psychonauts Headcanon!

Based on unused dialog from RoR, Hollis was originally meant to be 'Hollin' and be he/him (I could be miss recalling, but I believe it's on either her wiki or the fandom wiki)

While in game she is a she/her female (Currently)- I've headcanon that either

A) She had the fastest tranision and NO ONE batted an eye

or

B) She's bigender/Genderflux between female and male, and everyone is just like "Yeah, that's them,"

Anyway, what do you think Hollis' caree path would have been like if she delined Truman's offer to join the Psychonauts?

First off, I want to say yes to trans Hollis and I think it is funny if she had the fastest transition.

Second off, the reason I let this ask sit for a bit was because I really wanted to give a thorough and honest opinion; and after much thinking, I feel like Hollis's career path would have still ended up with her at the psychonauts.

The thing to keep in mind is she tampered with the mind of a medical professional, and as much of an a-hole as he was, I fear she would've ended up fired or at best demoted due to her actions. That's not even accounting for her social status as a woman of color working in a white male dominated profession. I feel like even if she hadn't accepted immediately, something tells me she would have found herself working for the psychonauts eventually.
