So I'm not the greatest baker but I always bake anyway. Really wanted to try Starbucks new Pistachio Chocolate Swirl so I had this great idea to make chocolate sticky buns instead. Because Starbucks strikes out more than it hits when it comes to their deserts. So I've already had to substitute active yeast for instant yeast which should have been more first sign to quit. However since I do love to cook and am excellent at pivoting and salvaging recipes even though baking is more of a science... But I kept going and had to substitute dark corn syrup with light corn syrup and Delta Cane Syrup (which is very disgusting but I happen to have in my pantry because my Dad grew up on it). Then all of the unsalted butter turned into substitutions of salted butter and I'm not even finished yet. I'm just going to keep going with what will turn into a beautiful disaster or my favorite mistake. Who knows...
