how do you think the custom followers would react to their kid coming out as trans?
Inigo: He's one of those dads that's big on 'sit downs' for important conversations. Once his kid tells him, he's immediately supportive and asks every question imaginable. "When did you realize? How are you feeling? How can I make this easier for you?"
Kaidan: As soon as he sees the nervous look on their face he wraps them up in a giant bear hug. Very reassuring and supportive. Anyone messes with his kid, they're getting dropkicked across Skyrim.
Caryalind: SO SO SUPPORTIVE, perhaps even overbearingly so. Aside from just being a naturally kind-hearted soul, he wants to make sure he's exactly the kind of parent his own father wasn't. Probably threw them a giant coming out party-if they wanted.
Rumarin: A lot of funny and gender-affirming dad jokes after the initial conversation. I feel like he'd just be very happy that his kid's happy.
Nebarra: 👍

How about the questions 2,3, and 12 for Jeer-Tei, if you don't mind answering 🩵🩵
got a bit of time before i head out again so I'll knock these out super quick!
Which cities do they prefer to stay in and why? Which cities to they avoid at all costs?
Falkreath & Ivarstead mainly - maybe Whiterun if they had to pick a third. The first two are mainly due to their two homes being in the area, though Tei is partial to Falkreath more because it's their fave spot to run around as a werebeast. Pollen season is hell though. Whiterun is kinda just a neutral spot to chill - They mainly go there to keep the Companions in line. As you do when converting it to a fully Hircine worship spot.
Raven Rock is the one city Tei avoids unless they absolutely have to go there. The events of the Dragonborn DLC really shook them up and they want nothing to do with the city or the island if they can avoid it, hell they'd rather stay a week at Windhelm over that.
What are their religious affiliations, and how does their worship (or lack thereof) affect their day-to-day life?
Tei's raised under Redguard culture, and their family is of the few Forebears that prefer the Yoku pantheon over the Imperial - so that's who they affiliate with! Tava and Morwha are the main ones Tei tends to pray to, though before battles they may mutter a quick prayer to Leki and/or Onsi. Their worship doesn't really affect much, save for not having as many people to celebrate specific holidays.
But they're also a follower of Hircine, often participating in hunts when they can! This sort of affiliation they tend to be more cautious about, depending on the audience. Yknow...being a werewolf and all. Despite that, as stated in the last answer, they are in the midst of (carefully) warping the Companions into a more Hircine-leaning way. Mostly out of petty spite about the "Ysmir Reborn" thing than out of devout worship for Hircine lol
What are their prejudices? What groups have they come to think of as 'other'? Mages? Nords? Elves? Lollygaggers?
Mages/Magic users. 100% - Hammerfell is not as prejudiced about magic anymore, but some hold onto that distrust and that is the same for Tei. Granted they are willing to ignore it for some individuals (Rumarin & their daughter Mei, for example) - but it's either thin ice/bare minimum tolerance (Lucien & Xelzaz - the latter on reaaally thin ice cus the necromancy thing) or flat-out distrust (p much any mage not seen as an ally). Plus, they just view mages to be weaker (save for Mei - that parental bias lol).
There is some dislike for Nords, specifically, the ones they have to deal with in Windhelm. So much so that Tei has the same mindset as Ambarys regarding the first few murders in Windhelm during the "Blood on the Ice" quest. They only intervened with the whole thing when they spotted Calixto stalking Arivanya.

Ep.11 Ancestors and Pies
Rumarin began his decent down the twisted, sandy path. The tunnel was well-lit with many shell sconces, each holding a magical candle. Light shone through from the room around the gentle bend of the tunnel. Floral, musky incense filled the air, giving the circular room a hazy, mystical aura. In the center of the room was a large pillow that functioned as a sofa. It was made of khajiiti silks and cotton and was very colorful. In the center of the cushion sat Deriki'ko the khajiit sage. She was gray of fur with white and cream markings. Her long gray locs cascaded over her shoulders and down to her waist. Her milky eyes betrayed her blindness, but she already knew he was there.
"Rumarin." She beamed, with a kind expression. She held out a small, delicately clawed hand. He reached out to her and she squeezed his hand.
"Warm." She smiled as she released him.
"Deriki'ko has already seen your soul story. She knew it would be bound to Isira and her progenitor, Mannimarco."
Deriki'ko lit a tightly bound bundle of dried herbs and flowers. The pink smoke billowed forth, like warm mist over a cool valley, its edges thick and defined as it flowed like a phantom river.
Rumarin's pale eyes glittered with the reflection of the ethereal scene. "The sands of time have whispered to me." She said gravely. "Of knowledge hidden...and forbidden." She added, her voice trailing into a whisper.
"Your parents were Vanus Galerion and one of his apprentices, Jhiannon Avalyn. Conceived not of love, but to protect the people from Vanus himself. It is known that Vanus fell during his battle with Mannimarco, his ever rival become nemesis. What is not freely known, is that Vanus' corpse was enthralled by the Worm King....and remains, to this day, a shambling slave."
Rumarin swallowed hard. His throat felt dry. "Oh..." he mumbled absently.
Deriki'ko nodded silently. "Galerion was not ignorant of this risk, and thus prepared a safety. You, my dear boy. For when the Great Mage was sundered, his soul departed into a hidden stone on his body, sympathetically linked. Jhiannon with sorrow, holding the link, kissed the stone and imparted its contents with a ritual into her womb. While Vanus held love for no one, Jhiannon had very much loved the enigmatic mer, and before her end, you too, Master Rumarin. They did this so that the thrall of Vanus would only be a husk, fraction of his formal power. No more useful to Mannimarco than any other learned Altmer mage." She folded her arms and sat quietly, her wise face now inscrutable.
Rumarin's face wrinkled perceptibly as he tried to "feel" for a presence in his consciousness. "Can he read my thoughts and...everything.." he finally said with worry.
The elderly khajiit laughed heartily. "He is as aware of you as a babe asleep at his mother's breast." She replied calmly.
"Stay away from my breasts..." Rumarin whispered aggressively into his collarbone.
Deriki'ko laughed.
"Does he know about Isira?" Rumarin asked worried. His thoughts went to imagining himself being controlled by a spirit within him, spurring him to defeat an old enemy.
"I do not know." The old khajiit replied.
Steps echoed down the corridor, followed shortly thereafter by the altmer woman. "I brought you some pies, dear." She said kissing the khajiit on the top of her head. She set the platter down and turned to Rumarin.
"Isira waits for you." She said softly.

I can’t sleep so I’m gonna word vomit the many feelings I have for my many boys
Lucien/Sparrow
Lucien showing Sparrow off to his parents like that Will Smith meme. .
Tumblr media
Behold family it’s the man of my dreams.
Sparrow waves.
Lucien knows Sparrow isn’t as educated as he is, so when he notices Sparrow is struggling to keep up with his scientific talk, he breaks it down in a way that Sparrow will understand better.
Lucien is the big spoon because he likes to cuddle. Sparrow likes to be cuddled. Lucien also talks in his sleep, mumbling about his latest research. Sometimes it’s telling Sparrow to put something sharp and dangerous down. One time it was to tell Kaidan to let the dog out. No one owns a dog.
Sparrow wears his wedding ring on a necklace because he’s scared of losing it.
Lucien is the jar opener. Sparrow is more likely to throw the jar at a wall.
Kaidan/Atheewynn
Atheewynn is able to lift Kaidan. Kaidan didn’t think he could do it. He’s totally flustered while being held in this big elf’s arms. His face is scarlet for the rest of the day.
Kaidan calls Atheewynn “Wynn” and he’s the only person who does.
Atheewynn once took an arrow in the chest for Kaidan, who, while forcing a healing potion down his throat, told him that if he’d died, Kaidan would’ve stormed into Sovngarde and dragged him back if he had to.
Atheewyn one day just cut off most of his hair (aka I deleted the mod with his hair because it took up so much space lmao) with a knife and Kaidan was like you know what, understandable, you wanted a new haircut, but please for the love of the eight, let me fix it.
Because of his years living with priests and monks, Atheewynn knows a lot about meditating and about “presence” (focusing on a particular limb, feeling that limb, how to connects to another part of the body, that sort of thing) and encourages the others to do the same. He’s a very tall, scary looking dude but he’s actually the team counselor.
Kaidan likes listening to Atheewynn talk about philosophy and the mind because, from his perspective, Atheewynn explains it better than Lucien. He’s totally biased though, he just likes Atheewynn’s voice.
Atheewynn/Rumarin (friendship)
The joy Rumarin felt when he discovered another Altmer who can’t cast magic all that well.
The extra joy he felt when Atheewynn talked about his adoptive father, another Altmer, who was also not good at magic and was the fucking champion of Cyrodiil.
He realizes Atheewynn is like him, they’re two weirdos among the Altmer. Outcasts. Failures. And to think that one of the greatest heroes who stopped the Oblivion Crisis was also an Altmer outcast nearly makes Rumarin cry with joy. He’s not actually alone. He’s not broken.
Rumarin cracks a joke one time that they’re both into shorter, bulkier guys. Kaidan was offended at being called short.

TES V OC Thingie
[Got tagged by @jessaryss ! ]
Pause your game! Wherever your OC is in their game currently, tell me about their story so far.
✧✧✧ General
Current Level: 56
Name: Jeer-Tei Perdes
Name Meaning: Literally got it from a name generator lol. But lore wise it was a name gifted to them in honor of an Argonian who served beside Tei’s mother during the Great War
Pronouns: They/Them
Age: Early 30s where they are story wise???
Race(s): Argonian
Place of Origin: Hammerfell
Pick A Theme Song For Them: oof that's tough... From a Crowded Wound or maybe even Firstwake? If you really played around w personal interpretation/the lyrics that is haha
✧✧✧ Locations
Where Did You Begin Their Game?: Argonian Assemblage, Windhelm (Alternative Start)
Where Are They Currently In Your Game?: Whiterun
What Are They Doing There?: Just finished attending a party held in their honor (Post Blood of Kings)
Homes?: Breezehome, Proudspire, Lakeview & Autmnwatch
# of Locations Discovered?: 274
Dungeons Cleared: 104
Misc. Quests Completed: 87
Favorite Areas and/or Locations: Falkreath / Lakewview Manor. Both areas are where Tei heads off to in order to collect their thoughts/feel some sense of calm.
✧✧✧ Main Quest
Are They Dragonborn / Do They Know It At This Point?: Yes & yes
How Do They Feel About Being Dragonborn: It's...complicated, being thrust into the role of savior by gods of the Cult, which in turn are followed by the folk who see you lesser than them. Tei already has a dislike towards the Divines, this doesn't really help lol
Main Quests Completed: 21
Where Are They In The Main Story Line: Alduin's dead, currently trying to ignore the Civil War as long as they can before the Empire forces its hand into forcing them to join their ranks
Dragon Souls Absorbed: In total overall? 147. The amount currently stored in Tei? 45
Words of Power Learned: 64
Shouts Mastered: 21
Favorite Shout: Firebreath / Dragonrend
✧✧✧ Combat
Most Used Weapon(s): Daedric war axe OR Dragonbone battle axe. Tei technically has both on them at all times during adventuring, alongside a shield, so which they used depends on the situation/which they grab fastest.
Combat Style: Two/One-handed tank. Main tactic is to rush in, cause as much damage/chaos as possible to shake up the opponent, & clean up what the ranged attackers of the party (usually Rumarin, Inigo and/or Lucien) weren't able to deal with.
Armor Type / Level In It: HEAVY ARMOR BABYYYYY (Level 100 + 35 extra points via enchantments)
# of Training Sessions: 99 in-game, lore wise its a lot of self-teaching/keeping their skills learned from Hammerfell sharp. Some of these are magic but lore-wise this doesn't happen cus Tei is not a magic user, save for shouts. I just did those in-game for exp OR so I can help Lucien raise his magic skills :'D
Who Taught Them?: In-game?? Fuuuck so many npcs. Lore-wise? They learned this from their schooling in Hammerfell, going off the canon-lore that it's p much expected for everyone to have a grasp on combat & weaponry! Though they did learn a few things from Kaidan & Anum-La.
Favorite Enemy Type: Dragons! Despite the fact Tei does not have the best magic resistance, it's one hell of a challenge they love to meet.
Least Favorite Enemy Type: Automatons, because of a bad experience with them as a child. Also Undead, because they were raised not to disturb them & it just feels so wrong having to fight them/go into tombs.
People Killed: 945
Animals Killed: 749 (Hunterborn makes hunting fun lol)
Undead Killed: 766
Automatons Killed: 105
Daedra Killed: 136
✧✧✧ Magic
Favorite School(s): None, actually. Destruction is okay though....they guess
Most Used Spell(s): Firebreath or Dragon Aspect. Tei doesn't consider shouts spells though. It's totally different guys shut up they ain't no smelly mage gods
Spells Learned: 9 in-game, mainly due to the spells you're kinda forced to learn for some quests/the ones you automatically know
Items Enchanted: 19 (Tei technically doesn't enchant, and wont next playthrough for sure I wont give in this time >:[ )
College of Winterhold Quests Completed: 8
Where Are They At In The Questline?: Main quest is done bcus i dont like seeing unfinished quests in my journal lmao. Tei's involvement is completely different from canon though in my take. Moreso was hired as a guard for the expedition & was, unwillingly, dragged into the rest of the mess. Is not offered the Archmage position, that went straight to Tolfdir.
Opinions on Magical Guilds (Arcane University, Winterhold, Psijics, Synod, Radiant Dark, etc.): As they get older, they tolerate the guild & magic users more n more, BUT, Tei grew up in an environment that frowns upon the practice of magic, & it shows. They mainly mistrust necromancers/illusionists & still hold onto that belief that reliance on magic, especially for combat, is a weakness.
Bold words for someone with shit magic resistance.
✧✧✧ Crime
Current Gold: 10,640
How Did They Acquire Their Gold?: Odd jobs, selling a lot of the items they made/harvested from smithing & hunting (jewelers are their go-to hirers bcus Tei is great at getting things like ivory), Dwemer ruin diving (they refuse to loot the tombs), also yknow....being part of the Dark Brotherhood helps
Largest Bounty On Their Head: 11,240
For...?: Unfortunately they did not stand down when they were being falsely accused of murder in Markarth. First time Tei called down dragons (Sahrotaar, specifically, Tei managed to get command of Miraak's dragons post-Dragonborn) to absolutely smite some fools.
Current Bounty: None! They're good at not getting caught/threatening and/or bribing guards. :)
Locks Picked: 15 i think?
Jail Time: 1, Cidhna Mine
Jail Escapes: 1, teamed up w the Forsworn lol
Murders: 28
Assaults: 307....In their defense people keep getting in their way during dragon attacks
Items Stolen: 37, most of them from the nobles of Windhelm
Thieves Guild Quests Completed: N/A (wont be doing this storyline unless i cant find a mod that'll let me get the shouts locked behind it)
Dark Brotherhood Quests Completed: 20
Where Are They At In Those Questlines?: DB is completed main arc wise!
✧✧✧ Relationships
Relationship Status: Married to two lovely fellas
Current Companions: atm? none
Housecarls: Lydia & Rayya
Friends (outside of party): Zora Fair-Child, Inigo, Lucien, Anum-La, Morndas, Aela the Huntress, Nazir, Babette, Scouts-Many-Marshes, Isobel, Madesi
Children: Khash, Chases-Starlight, Ram-Ku. (going of where Tei is now - Otero & Mei come around later on in Tei's story!)
Romantic Interest(s): Kaidan & Rumarin.
Sexual Orientation:
GAY
✧✧✧ Religion
Pantheon: Yokudan, with a hint of Hircine worship in there
Patron Deity(ies): From the Yokudan pantheon: Tei mainly views HoonDing as their main patron, but also prays to/pays respect to Satakal.
They are also Hircine's champion.
Daedric Quests Completed: 3 (Hircine, Vile, Dagon - the last Tei didn't really help, moreso pissed off)
Aedric Quests Completed: 1 if you count the whole Alduin thing I guess?
How Devout Are They?: Tei is rather devout, esp to their Yokudan patrons, praying or making offerings daily. They aren't the type to really push it in your face though, but have no issues answering questions one might have.
How Do They Feel About Talos Worship?: Deep down they acknowledge & admit trying to ban worship is terrible, but....Tei also lets their bias/experience with Windhelm, the Stormcloaks & especially Ulfric kinda cloud over this. If the Nords want their old ways so damn much, why fight for a divine from the Imperial Cult? Why not go back to the actual old ways? No, this isn't about worship, not to the men leading this so-called rebellion, they just needed something other than their racist bullshit to fool the common man into throwing their lives away for the nobles sitting comfortable in their thrones.
Also during their whole thing of getting into their role of dragonborn, they get a bonus 'fuck this dude actually' towards Talos, Ysmir, whatever the fuck he calls himself. (tldr; it sucks but good luck hearing Tei say that fully)
✧✧✧ Politics
Gray-Mane or Battle-Born?: Neither, ask them again they will punch you for the love of Ruptga they get asked that every time they enter Whiterun.
Stormcloaks or Imperials?: Also neither, Tei hates em both n think they can all choke. Unfortunately they were forced to join the latter due to, yknow, calling dragons & causing massive damage in Imperial territories during isolated fits of rage and the group being more aggressive in wanting something in return for "letting it slide"....oops
Opinion on the Thalmor?: Oh absolutely despises them, they loudly complained having to work with them during the CW & would go out their way to disrupt their plans/piss them off. Sneaking was an option they did not take during the Embassy quest, if it helps paint the picture.
Opinion Of Ulfric Stormcloak?: Tei doens't say they hate people often...but they sure as hell hate Ulfric. Again, their experience in Windhelm added to this heavily, how both the Dunmer & Argonians were treated like shit, with no help whatsoever from the Jarl or guards when the local Nords targeted them. It's still up in the air if I keep this for Tei's story, but I have it where they knew Chases-Starlight's parents, who were killed. When Tei went up & demanded justice/an investigation, only to be brushed off because it "wasn't a priority," it completely destroyed what little empathy or hope they had left for Windhelm as a whole.
Opinion of The Empire?: Cowards too weak to continue fighting back against the Thalmor, in their opinion, & holds these views they grew up with even when being strong-armed into aiding them. If anything they're at least attempting to use their influence to hint towards a rebellion against the Thalmor, but the Empire could also full-on dissolve & they could give less of a shit.
Civil War Quests Completed: 0
✧✧✧ Personal
How Are They Doing? Need Some Juice? A Nap? A Hug?: The whole event of Blood of Kings has fucked with their head, to say the least. It's the starting point of Tei's eventual spiral. So uh...yeah they're not sure how they're doing everything they knew about reality was kinda challenged & they don't rlly have anyone to talk to about it so its cool, its fine, its all good.
A nap is probably needed, not sure about a hug theough they're super flinchy rn
Days Past In Game: 196
Hours of Sleep: 846
Food Items Consumed: 1833
How Many Playthroughs Have You Done With This Character: Tei actually is an older character from the 360 days so uh...maybe 5 at most? This playthrough & their S:EC one coming up when the mod releases being the main ones focusing on their story
Overall How's Your Level Of Fun: Alright I would say! I just been stepping away from Skyrim more often lately to avoid burning out from it
Must Have Mods To Play This Character (for story or other reasons): Ordinator, Wintersun Faiths, Immersive Armors, Sarcastic Player Dialogue, 3DNPC, Inigo, Lucien Flavius, Kaidan 2, Khash the Argonian, Alternative Start, Leviathan Animations, Beast Race Body Paints, Beast HHBB, Apocalypse Magic, Deadly Dragons, Growl: Werewolf Overhaul, Pronouns, uhhh....idk what else without actually listing my current modlist lmao
----
And that's it for Tei! Anyone who wants to do this go on ahead!

“Marriage?” Rumarin’s jaw fell open as they told him the news.
“Please, Rumarin. This wasn’t exactly what we wanted either, but the Dominion and the Empire worked out a deal and we have to fulfill our duties.”
The Aldmeri Dominion was seeking a greater alliance within Skyrim, as it was currently the most unstable province. He hadn’t known the exact details until quite literally just now, but a marriage alliance wasn’t the most surprising thing the Dominion could’ve asked for. Political marriages in the Summerset Isles were a dime a dozen.
“But why would I be their first choice?” Rumarin’s mother and father exchanged looks, Maerin shifting uncomfortably in her seat.
“Darling…you haven’t exactly been with the Dominion for long—”
“Officially, that is.” Rumarin’s father cut in.
Maerin nodded. “Yes, of course. Officially. The truth is, they can’t spare a high ranking official but someone has to be sent, or this will play right into the Legion’s hands.”
“I put your name forward,” Ingaril said. At Rumarin’s incredulous expression, he added, “I know you aren’t…content with your current position within the Dominion hierarchy.”
That was true. Rumarin couldn’t say he enjoyed his work, but there was a bit more to it than just being a low-ranking bureaucrat—namely, that the Thalmor were grasping tyrants that sought to establish their rule across Tamriel. A minor issue, to be sure. Still, Rumarin wasn’t sure if an arranged marriage to soothe tensions with the Empire was much of an improvement—not that he had a choice.
Rumarin sighed, and the tension dropped from his parents’ shoulders, knowing he’d just given in. “Who exactly am I marrying?”
Ingaril sniffed, “They say she’s some ridiculous Nord hero. The Dragonborn, I believe.” As the panic spread across Rumarin’s face, Ingaril attempted to comfort him. “Don’t worry, Rumarin. We wouldn’t hand you over to those savages if we thought there was any truth to it. Most likely, it’s a ruse to give them the advantage.”
“As if allying themselves with fairytales and Tiber Septim would frighten the Dominion,” Maerin added. It didn’t make him feel better. “Now come along. We’ve got to get you ready for your painting—a trinket for your betrothed.”
Rumarin thought he might throw up.

bestie rumarin hcs a crumb a lil crumb pls (i’m down bad)
-He gets really restless when he's left home alone for too long so he moves the furniture around a lot. The poor ldb always has to come home to find it completely rearranged.
-He gives phenomenal massages. He found it's a nice way to relax everyone on team dragonborn after hard battles. Obviously, he makes the ldb's extra special... and in private 👀
-He's really picky about ingredients, so he started growing his own vegetables and he got really into it. Now he uses weird techniques like singing to the fruit and sleeping in the cabbage patch.
-Out of all the parents in the neighborhood he's the designated cool dad™️. He always has the best snacks and games, and sometimes he lets them look at the ldb's artifacts. The other parents just can't compete.

Character Masterpost!
Figured I’d have to post this eventually - fair warning these are kinda rough, I was never good at this sorta thing lol. But enjoy! A quick masterpost of my Skyrim ocs (might add Oblivion + Morrowind ones whenever I play those games)
Under the cut because, hoo boy, do I have a tendency to ramble
Tumblr media
Name(Titles): Jeer-Tei Perdes (Dragonborn / Legate Perdes / Listener / Harbinger / Slayer of Miraak, Alduin, Paarthurnax and Ulfric / Champion of Hircine) Race: Argonian Gender/Sexuality: Nonbinary (They/Them) / Gay Birthsign: Steed Age: Roughly Late 20s/Early 30s to Mid/Late 30s (As of the events of Skryim + Dragonborn DLC), Roughly early/mid 50s (events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC) Reference Sheet: (x)
Jeer-Tei had an interesting start in life, their egg abandoned near the docks of Satakalaam, only to be discovered by a local Redguard blacksmith picking up his shipments. Once hatched, they were raised under Redguard traditions and values - from its pantheon to the general disdain of magic - & would carry these beliefs over upon their arrival to Skyrim as a young adult. Tei didn’t intend on staying in the province, especially with the rumors of a civil war bubbling, but unfortunately got scammed into working at the Windhelm docks for the next few years. During this, they felt sympathy for the Dunmer and Argonians stuck in the city and chose to stick around to guard both the Assemblage & Gray Quarter at night from the unruly locals. It was a bit before the time of Ulfric’s capture when Tei would officially leave Windhelm, Rumarin & Lucifer in tow, unknowingly starting the path towards Alduin’s defeat. Which they have...strong opinions of.
Trivia/Fun facts:
Tei was never one to worship the Divines (who they refer to as the “Imperial Cult” with much disdain), so the fact they were this supposed hero of Akatosh leaves a bad taste in their mouth.
Could care less about the Empire. While they definitely didn’t agree with Ulfric’s causes, they didn’t want to work for a faction that abandoned their home to the Thalmor. Unfortunately, they were strong armed into joining the Empire’s army due to previous actions having consequences.
Tei was infected with Canis Hysteria (Lycanthropy) early in their arrival to Skyrim, they quickly learned to live with it & became a follower of Hircine.
Post-Alduin & CW, Tei unfortunately doesn’t spend much time at home. More often than not they’re taking trips to Solitude or even Cyrodiil itself as Skyrim’s rep - or is holed up in Skyhaven with Blade business

Name(Titles): Meixiu (Mei) Perdes (That one tall chick who keeps raising the dead) Race: Argonian/Altmer Gender/Sexuality: Girl...Perhaps (She/Her) / Lesbian Birthsign: Apprentice Age: Late teens to Early/Sorta Mid 20s (Events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC, Bit of College of Winterhold quest as well) Reference Sheet: (x)
Hatched and raised in Ivarstead, Mei is the youngest (next to her twin, Otero) of the Perdes family, & the most magic-oriented to boot. She always had a fascination with the schools, putting her at odds with her 3 parents - but thankfully, they were never ones to keep her from learning. Mei would become a student at the College of Winterhold at a relatively young age, learning that her talents shine the most with a mix of Conjuration and Dwemer tech! After....an unfortunate incident down in the Midden...We don’t talk about it. Regardless, it gained her a spot in a transfer program to Shimmerene’s mage guild - conveniently where she missed out on the whole orb debacle she and some fellow students were looking into...huh. But hey! Summerset is really nice & she gets to apply her studies towards helping people...right?
Trivia/Fun facts:
Mei is roughly 8′3″ when fully grown - she tends to forget how this height can intimidate people
She is very interested on the concept of souls & how the Dwemer worked with them. But she insists it’s on ways to help people - rather than trapping them in the machines
Mei’s very open-minded on some ideas that those might be uncomfortable with. She herself doesn’t fully understand the whole upset about raising the dead & soul gems herself.
Her spine+neck is very flexible (think ferret-spine). Regardless, she does need to wear a brace occasionally because being a long-bendy noodle is not good for your back.

Name(Titles): Otero Perdes (Child of Stendarr / Slayer of Harkon) Race: Argonian/Akaviri Gender/Sexuality: Transmasc (He/Him) / Demisexual Birthsign: Apprentice Age: Late teens to Early/Sorta Mid 20s (Events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC) Reference Sheet: (x)
Youngest of the Perdes family, next to Mei, Otero is often seen as the less approachable one of the family. (A feat in itself, considering how intimidating Tei became) He’s rude, quick to see someone as a threat, and has very little tolerance for Daedra, their worshippers, or the undead. It wasn’t always like this, however; Otero was initially a quiet child, struggling with ways to step out of his parent’s shadow. As it turned out, he was “blessed” with the same beast blood Tei held - his first transformation happening at the age of 13. This ended up traumatizing him & would create a rift with Tei for years to come - as the two had vastly different views on the situation. Not long after Mei left for Winterhold, Otero would run off himself - ending up near Dawnstar & taken under Altano’s wing to become a Vigilant. (Something Tei didn’t agree with, but they were of the belief of letting Otero see things through on his end.) It was here where he met Pelath, and where both had suffered from Molag Bal’s games. After the events of VIGILANT, Otero would soon join the Dawnguard with a new-found hatred for vampires, being the one to kill Harkon alongside Serana.
Trivia/Fun facts:
If you had to assign Otero a class from the previous Elder Scroll games, it would be Crusader.
While now very skilled in the art of Restoration & One-handed weapons, Otero was far from it when he first joined the Vigilants. His mastery came from many grueling training sessions, alongside many more life & death situations.
The only vampire he truly tolerated/trusted is Serana - even willing to defend her if she had decided not to cure herself.
I hope you don’t have a rough n gruff voice hc for him, because his main voice claim/reference is Jason Schwartzmann

Name(Titles): Pelath Elsinire (Shezarr / Keeper of Stuhn’s Ravine) Race: Altmer Gender/Sexuality: Bigender (He/Him + She/Her) / Pansexual Birthsign: Lord Age: Early to Mid/Sorta late 20s (Events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC)
A runaway from Summerset, Pelath came to Skyrim in hopes for a new life. What she didn’t expect was to be thrown headfirst into a whole Daedric debacle. After being recruited by Altano, Pelath was assigned to be Otero’s partner in missions - the two having a relatively rough start due to Otero’s general attitude, but they quickly bond & come to rely on one another, especially after getting trapped in Cold Harbour. The whole event was life-changing, to say the least, & Pelath still struggles with the fact that he is Shezarr incarnate - since...y’know...Elf. But there’s no time to fret on such things, Pel is a follower of Stendarr first, and that’s going to be the focus.
Trivia/Fun facts:
Pel would assist Otero in the events of Dawnguard, while she wouldn’t be there for the final fight, she would help provide healing & other resources. In fact, Pel was the reason Otero didn’t end up getting into a worse situation with Serana when the two discovered her, as he was quite ready to attack the vampire.
She is a jack of all trades when it comes to the different schools of magic, Illusion is her strong suit.
Pel and Otero do have some romantic chemistry, but both agreed on the fact that neither are truly ready for a relationship right now.
Has no idea where the face scar came from, had it as long as memory serves.

Name(Titles): Courron (Librarian’s Assistant / Archmage-In-Training) Race: Bosmer/Imperial Gender/Sexuality: Cis Boy(tm) (He/Him) / AroAce Birthsign: Lover Age: Early to Mid/Sorta late 20s (Events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC, College of Winterhold)
Mei’s childhood best friend who doesn’t get paid enough w/ the shit he’s seen. Courron’s the most normal of all the individuals listed, he just wants to get an education & help upkeep the Arcanaeum in Winterhold. Though stopping a Thalmor from misusing the Eye of Magnus is on that list too, he guesses. Courron doesn’t know what mass goal he has in mind and isn’t too psyched about being trained to become Archmage; he’s just happy where he is at now, responding to letters from Mei & occasionally assisting in experiments whenever she comes to visit.
Trivia/Fun facts:
Not to be cringe but he may or may not be a Lucien/Auri fankid. This is probably going to change though lmao
Literally the most normal dude here, just wants to read books and do fancy magic stuff.
Knows what happened with Mei in the Midden, doesn’t talk about it because he isn’t a snitch
Played evil god(tm) and gave him my trait of being damn near-blind & needing strong-ass glasses. Nearsightedness is a bitch

Name(Titles): K’avle (Priest of Stendarr) Race: Redguard Gender/Sexuality: Cis male (he/him) / Bisexual Birthsign: Lady Age: Early to Mid 50s (Events of Skyrim + Dragonborn DLC) - ~70s (Events of VIGILANT + Dawnguard DLC)

Rumarin x Isira (LDB)
Ep.8 Cocoon
Rumarin made the bed and did some minor tidying. "I'm the buff maid.." he mumbled to himself. He found Isira's floorlength mirror and ogled at himself in the mirror for a great length of time.
'Hmm..' he thought, scratching his stubbled chin. He looked at his eyes in the mirror. Pale gold. "Yep, looks like an Altmer to me."
He rummaged around and found some shortpants he could wear and a simple black tunic. 'I look like a necromancer.' He thought.
"I am Rumannimarco" he spun around in front of the mirror and made an angry face. He laughed at himself. 'I'm an idiot.'
He started to build a fire in the fireplace. It was starting to get chilly. He sat and watched the flames as he ate some bread and cheese.
He wondered why Isira had fallen for him so strongly...she was way out of what would be considered a 'fair mating pool' for the likes of him. He sighed. He was afraid she would come to her senses and that would be that. He would be shattered into a million pieces. Unsalvagable uselessness. There would be no joke funny enough to pull him out of that hole. He needed to tell her soon. He didn't have enough in him to survive a heartbreak of that magnitude. She just seemed so certain and determined..and he was precisely the opposite. He wanted to be with her forever to have these feelings forever... but he just couldn't believe that was what was in store for him.
The door creaked open and Isira stepped inside, her bright red Master robes, crown circlet, and hood made her really look the part of Archmage. He wondered how old she was. She could be fifty years his senior for all he knew. She definitely had the power of a century old elf.
"Have you been behaving Rumarin?" She smiled and bent over to kiss him sweetly.
"Yes, Archmage Valfyren." He nodded submissively. "Stop that." She hissed as she sat in the other chair. Isira reached over and poured herself some of Rumarin's tea.
"How old are you?" He blurted, letting his head fall to one side, his long hair cascading along his jawline.
"You won't believe me." She admitted, taking a drink from her mug. "We are exactly the same age."
Rumarin seemed deep in thought, because he was. "I hope we aren't long lost twins or something.." he said his eyes widening.
Isira giggled. "Well let's do some early life comparisons. My earliest memories were from Vulkel Guard. I was raised with an Altmer father and a Dunmeri mother, but they couldn't be my biological parents for phylogenical reasons and my hair is white." She ended in a distant tone. "I do not know who my parents were, but they were very likely highborn, perhaps even royalty."
"Because of your hair..." Rumarin added knowingly.
"Yes, because of the eh, breeding practices of the aristocracy. White hair and exceptional stature were signs of aptitudes for perfection. But don't feel left out, you are exceptionally tall even for an Altmer. Perhaps you are from noble family?" She took a sip of tea.
He stretched out his legs, warming his bare feet by the fire. "Oh, I don't think so. I think I just got stretched out doing all those tricks and stunts while I was a growing lad. I was raised in Summerset. Then my parents and I moved to Skyrim to try and make merry the people during the miserable Great War. I don't know if they were my real parents. I was closer to Otero than to them. I can barely remember their faces.." he looked drearily into the fire. "I hate the past. The future looks so much brighter." He looked at her and held out a hand. She reached for it and squeezed.
"If the twin thing bothers you, we can do a blood ritual. Its an easy thing to do. It won't tell us specifics, but it can tell us if we are close family, or if our families were allies for many years, or if our ancestors were sworn enemies." Rumarin raised his eyebows very high, listening to her words. "That just sounds interesting." He said.
She laughed. "Well then. I'll set it up. I have everything I need in this room. I'll let you know when it's ready."
A few moments later she called to him. She had drawn a strange circle, subdivided by many swooping, interlocking, and intersecting geometries. Inside was a golden dish and some ash. She invited him to sit across from her. Her silver eyes flashed as the symbol began to glow. She chanted some strange words and pulled out a tiny needle dagger, like that you would use to poison someone.
She held out her hand and pricked her finger, the blood dripped freely. "It is not deep." She reassured him. "It's bleeds so because of an agent applied to the needle. Your hand?" She held his hand gently and got his sample. "Didn't hurt." He said surprised. "Thanks for making it painless. I'd hate to cry in front of you after I've come so far." Isira giggled, "Shut up Rumarin.."
She waved her hand over the bowl and said a few words.
The blood boiled and started to smoke, then illuminated in green and purple. A purple gem shape with a skull inside appeared and dissolved, then the green blood formed an eight pointed star with an eye inside, then it disappeared.
Isira sat staring at the golden plate, now covered in char. "Was that bad?" Rumarin asked. "We're twins aren't we?"
Isira was silent for a long time digesting what she'd seen. "There normally isn't any symbology needed with this test... the samples reacted quite strongly, in a very negative way. I know what the symbols were."
"The Worm Cult and the Mages Guild." Rumarin said matter-of-factly.
"I knew you were educated." Isira smiled faintly.
"I was raised in what was Summerset's Bard's college, so I know a bit of history." He sat back, stretching out his long legs.
"But that just means that we have ancestors associated with those groups. That could mean anyone. They were large groups." He said dryly.
"No, I have to do more research, but I think it was being very specific. That was a very strong reaction. Either very high ranking individuals, or....Mannimarco and Vanus, themselves." She said breathlessly.
Rumarin chewed on his lip. "So we aren't long lost twins, but instead, decendants of two of the most powerful paragons of light and dark." He laughed at the irony for a good moment. Isira just looked at him, her silver eyes wide. She was still reeling over the implications of this finding and her research.
"Dibs on Grandpa Marco!" He cackled.
"Possibly Papa." She corrected. "It was a strong reaction. Like the blood itself was trying to tell us something, and I don't mean the normal divination channel.
"Evil blood?" Rumarin said dramatically.
Isira shot him a cross look. Normally his jesting was endearing, but this time it was bothering her. The results bothered her. She got up and walked away.
'Great.' Rumarin thought. 'It was only a matter of time.' He sat dejected for a moment, then decided it wasn't about him. She needed comforting.
He found her sitting legs-crossed on the bed in her night gown made of pale green silks. "I'm sorry." He said leaning over to kiss her shoulder. "I'm real bad with serious things sometimes."
She looked at him lovingly and beckoned him to sit. "Its taking every ounce of fortitude not to start cracking open books this very instant." She admitted.
He moved around close to the great headboard and gently grabbed her hair in his hands. His touches felt amazing and she closed her eyes as he worked.
He plaited her hair in amazing elegant designs in deft and expert movements. He made no mistakes. She let him do this for a long time, until she no longer cared about stupid divination rituals.
She felt what he had done as she reached up with her hands and gasped. She hopped off the bed and went to the mirror where she gawked at herself. "These are braids fit for queen!" She remarked in amazment.
"How did you learn this?" She turned towards him.
"They made me practice everyday for two hours to develop finger dexterity. I think they just wanted a free head massage." He said with a snort.
"Rumarin... you are amazing." She walked over and kissed him, running her fingers through his silky strawberry blonde hair.
"This is what's important." He whispered, his lips still touching hers. "Not some stupid information."
Isira knew better, but she let him be right in this moment, because she wanted it to be true...

what are durth’s adventures around skyrim like? :3 when does she meet her pals, and in what order did u play her quests in-game? sorry if this is a loaded question, i just rly love her ;-;
Tumblr media
I decided to make a bit of a timeline under the cut. It’s not the most interesting written thing, but it’s pretty much everything. I will go more into detail about how she met Inigo and Rumarin later in a different post.
Before Helgen-
Age 6 - Durth lost her mother to the Thalmor at 6 years old, prompting her family to move from Markarth to Riften.
As a teen she and her brother get up to a lot of trouble in Riften, but their dad made sure they know not to meddle with the guild. Uncle Urag comes over every once in a while to teach them to read and write and Durth eventually gets a small job at the Temple (mostly keeping things clean.)
Age 18 - Durth has been accepted at the college of Winterhold! She meets Onmund, Brelyna and J’zargo there. She spends four years at the college and the quest takes place in the last two of them.
Age 23 - Instead of being made the new Archmage because really? I’d like to think she’d been offered some sort of apprenticeship Psijic Order. She went with them and spend quite a long time there. She wasn’t actually planning to ever leave but someday she suddenly got a letter stating that her father was dying.
After Helgen-
Age 27 - Durth travels home in hope to see her dad one more time before he dies. However upon arriving at the border she immediately got picked up by the imperial army and carted to Helgen.
Durth saw the dragon, saw the chaos, followed Ralof out and then BOOKED it to Riften. She was able to meet up with her family,  she didn’t tell them what happened on her way there not wanting to bother her father on what pretty much turned out to be his last day.
After that, she decided to leave again. She thought about making her way to Winterhold to figure out what the hell was going on in skyrim these days. But on her way out of Riften she got recognized by Brynjolf who, as he tends to do, immedeatly tried to recruit her into the thievesguild. Durth being incredibly insulted and emotional started a fight.
And that is how she met Inigo, being tossed into the same cell as him. And she pretty much immediately broke down and dumped everything that happened to her that day on him. Together they came to the conclusion that maybe, the jarl of Whiterun should be notified of this. Y’know seeing as far as Durth knows, only two people actually made it out.
From there the quest pretty much continues as normal.
On her way from High Hrothgar to the tomb of Jurgen Windcaller she meets Rumarin. She is head-over-heals within a week.
In between the main quest they get up to a lot of shenanigans, turning into a full fledged adventurers group. She picks up Lucia somewhere on the way.
Age 29 - Then as the peace treaty failed, Durth joined the stormcloaks. She got into an argument about it with Inigo and Rumarin, not talking to either of them for a while. Inigo ended up doing quite a lot of work to stay friends with her but Ru was a bit to stubborn to contact her first.
During the war she adopts Braith after her parents die in the attack of Whiterun. Almost being branded a deserter for it by not seeing the entire fight through. Durth absolutly hates having joined the Stormcloaks after they storm Markarth.
After the rebellion and being kicked out after a fight with Ulfric she returns to her friends with her tail in-between her legs, asking them if they still want to help her end this thing. And they did. Inigo even following her to Sovengarde and back.
Age 30- she is finally done with the main quest. She stays at home in Riften for a while but grows restless pretty fast. She officially joins the College of Winterhold again and does mostly field work. And so they keep adventuring for some time, mostly on the east side of Skyrim so she can stay close to her daughters and the College. She gets married to Rumarin somewhere around this time.
Age 33- Some cultists show up to Riften and threaten her and her kids in the middle of the market square, she is not amused. She pretty much speedrunned  her way to Miraak.
Age 40 something- The kids are moving out, her brother wants to move back into Honeyside (which is technically his.) Durth, Ru and Inigo build a house in The Pale. Durth gets even more involved with the College again now that she’s closer.
Age 50 something- Durth is getting a little bit too fragile for Adventuring, she takes up a teaching position at the college. Inigo, even more fragile comes with her and settles down in Winterhold, loving company he opens a small bar as Winterhold is slowly rebuild again. Rumarin starts adventuring again, usually solo but there is no shortage of friends they made along the way that need help sometimes.
Age 58 - Durth officially becomes Archmage. Most would have preferred an elf, not seeing the use of someone so old already to be Archmage. But with Brelyna already chosen als her successor most people just accepted it, if only to give Brelyna more time to prepare. No one really expecting Durth to do her ABSOLUTE DAMNDEST to get Winterhold back on the map.
Durth tried to make the public opinion of the College better, and it worked! She actually got involved with the politics in skyrim, unlike how the college before tried to distance itself. Winterhold grew, it wasn’t going to be what it once was but people were making a start. She actually became friends with Jarl Korir, took a lot of work though.
Age 84 - Since Alduin Durth had been toying with the idea of time travel. The idea of going back an fixing mistakes she made, seeing what could have been or maybe just giving herself more time. Mora had been showing up every once in a while to feed these ideas, wich ended up being her downfall. One day she opened a black book and she did not come back.
Sorry for any grammar mistakes, but that’s about it. (i’m glad you love her <3)
