1/2 maybe I’m very dense but I still don’t completely understand everything that happened w/Kira. Why did TJ ditch Cyrus for Kira’s costume? Did TJ and Kira actually date and break up? Why was TJ so willing to be her friend and not notice how mean she was (like at the table when they were with Cyrus). And the whole making TJ choose thing was confusing too. Because it was out of the blue and TJ never had to “choose”. He was friends with both of them. I’m so confused! Do you understand everything?

2/2 and when TJ and Kira were at the park and they had planned to feed the ducks, was that a date? When Kira said “hello I’m over here” to get TJ to stop looking after Cyrus, that sounded very girlfriend-ish to me. I really wish they had explained all the TJ/Cyrus/Kira stuff. And Buffy said “you know why he’s hanging out with her”, everyone assumes that Buffy meant that she knew TJ was ha find with Kira to hide his feelings for Cyrus. But how can we know for sure? I’m gonna lose sleep over this

Hahaha okay. Idk if everyone agrees with what I’m gonna say, but this is how i grasp it. Come one, come all, as I answer hard hitting questions about KIRA

First and foremost, Kira was brought in to delay Tyrus. Unfortunately, that was her main plot driver. If Kira had not been involved: i think Summer Salt would have played out, someone would have said something about them being in a ‘couples costume’, internalised homophobia/gay panic, TJ dips until the end for the same kinda endgame OR Tyrus canons a little earlier, bench scene outside of school instead, who could predict the next couple episodes? only terri

But we were 2/3 getting a delay in Tyrus (well 100% but yk what i mean) and Kira was unfortunately up to bat. Take her plot line through like this: Kira knows (or at least assumes) TJ has more than friendship feelings for Cyrus. Kira likes TJ. Kira knows TJ his a jock, popular, likely insecure, and uses that to her advantage to get what she wants (a weird, not really real, relationship with TJ)

So 1. Why did TJ ditch Cyrus for Kira’s costume? Throw your hands up for homophobia! look back a bit, couples costume? So that path was eliminated by this. Because, as Kira subtly pointed out to TJ, why would he rather do a couples costume with a GUY than with a GIRL (her)? TJ was caught here, either basically out himself to her (as she hinted it was suspicious he would wanna do a costume with Cyrus) or play along. TJ plays along with Kira, as he’s afraid of even the possibility of being outed.

2. Did TJ and Kira actually date and break up? No, the MackChat kids are 8. TJ never ‘dated’ Kira. He spent a lot of time with her, but think of it more like. TJ thought of Kira as Buffy to his Cyrus. Kira thought of TJ as her boyfriend who didnt wanna label it (jonah tease). That’s why it’s a little confusing, because it was to them too. But not dating, no break up.

3. Why was TJ so willing to be her friend? I know A LOT happens in Andi Mack and TJ is but a mere side character, but TJ is not in Cyrus’ friend group. He’s in - oh, yeah, all his friends dumped him after he reported his best friend to the cops! lol! - TJ doesn’t .. have any friends after 306. He’s just kinda .. desperate for a friend. (Yes, he wants Cyrus but Cyrus is his crush and it’s hard to share that space when you’re 14). Idk if yall have ever gone through a middle school day with no friends but .. guys its rough, like soul-crushing lunch goes from the best part of the day to the worst, rough. So Kira comes along, she likes basketball and gives TJ attention, that’s kinda all he needs to jump on board. Someone wants to hang out with him! And do his favourite thing!

and not notice how mean she was? TJ is a boy. I know that’s a dumb answer but jesus 14 year old boys are DENSE. Kira wasn’t outright saying anything mean to Cyrus, she was being rude, but in a snarky, covered in smiles way. But everything that came out of her mouth was ‘nice’. To TJ, she was being welcoming and Cyrus was being flaky and disliked her for no reason (Buffy kicked HER off the team, after all)

4. the whole making TJ choose thing was confusing too. I’m with you on this because, yeah, really thought she was gonna flat out call TJ out for having a crush LMAOOO. So to attempt my explanation, I have to preface this a bit. Take what I say with a grain of salt, alright? I do truly love TJ Kippen with all my heart.

But TJ is kinda mean, lol. He’s nice to Cyrus and Cyrus’ friends cos he’s whipped head-over-heels, but here’s the thing: He and Kira probably laughed at kids playing bball poorly on the court at the park, they probably made fun of people at the minigolf place, sending their balls into the artificial lake, they probably called the kids getting A’s in math nerds. They’ve probably laughed at kids dancing EXACTLY how Cyrus danced at the party. But there’s TJ, defensive, mad at Kira for laughing at him like that.

So they joke and laugh at everyone, but they can’t make fun of Cyrus? To Kira, it’s now plainly obvious: TJ cares about Cyrus more than he does about having fun with her. So here’s her ultimatum: You have fun with me, and we’re friends, or you’re a drag around Cyrus.

Obviously TJ picks Cyrus because he has a fat crush, and being nice is like the smallest price in the world to pay for that boy. Think of him picking between them as his final step outside of his mean body, the nice person inside finally clawed their whole way out.

5. when TJ and Kira were at the park and they had planned to feed the ducks, was that a date? No, probs just post basketball stuff and the park is small. TJ was just avoiding the swings.

6. When Kira said “hello I’m over here” to get TJ to stop looking after Cyrus, that sounded very girlfriend-ish to me. Cos she thought they were in some kind of relationship, due to TJ having no other friends, the exclusivity was pretty real

7. Buffy said “you know why he’s hanging out with her”, everyone assumes that Buffy meant that she knew TJ was hanging with Kira to hide his feelings for Cyrus. But how can we know for sure? Here it is, the final question, and perhaps most up-to-interpretation answer.

Answer 1: Buffy knows Kira is JUST like TJ was, she dealt with her on her team, and has seen how she interacts with people. She knows TJ is hanging out with her because he’s lost his friends and gone soft for Cyrus, and needs something else in his life to keep him on top/captain/popular

Answer 2: Buffy knows TJ likes Cyrus and is scared of that, thus is hanging around Kira to hide those feelings. The thing that doesn’t add up here is: When Tira wrap their arms around each other, Buffy apologises, like what she said was wrong. So why would she do that if she was sure TJ was only with her as a beard?

Answer 3: Buffy has put together that TJ has lowkey been bullied into being embarrassed of being so close with Cyrus. She knows he’s only hanging out with Kira because she’s basically forcing him too, and he’s capitalising on the situation by using her to make him look popular and ‘like the other boys’ more or less. When she says ‘I’m sorry.’ to Cyrus, she’s sympathising with him, understanding that it sucks that TJ is in this position with Kira and he’s a dumbass jock.

I think Answer 3 makes the most sense.

Well! I hope I answered all your questions to some form of semi-understanding. I know it’s a lot and it’s really confusing and they didn’t leave time to really explain it.

The short answer for the kiddos at home: TJ never liked KIRA!! He liked CYRUS!!

Sorry for the 21 questions! I’m just really curious and don’t want to make the wrong decision when choosing a uni. Was it easy to make friends not knowing anybody? Because that’s what worries me the most. And also how would you go about meeting guys who play sports, more specifically the hockey team. And are the guys at state decent guys or?

No no no don’t be sorry! I love helping people and I wanna make sure you make the right decision, whether it’s State or not! Please feel free to keep sending the questions in!

Making friends was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I knew absolutely no one and I’m not the best at introducing myself/putting myself out there, but everyone was so friendly I didn’t have to worry.

But that being said, you can’t just stay in your dorm all day and expect people to automatically befriend you. You do have to put the effort in. However, there is literally a club for everything so you can find friends that way, or somehow introducing yourself to the person who is sitting next to you on your first day. Your RA is a great resource for putting yourself out there as well, and great for adjusting to college.

Also one thing that really helped me for getting to know some people in my residence hall, was having a whiteboard on my door. Each week I’d put a different poll on there, and it got to the point where I’d be asked when my next poll was coming up/what it would be.

As for the sports, I haven’t actually met any of the guys but I have passed by them and seen them around campus. Most of them are really recognizable because they have a special backpack that looks like this:

except down the side is the sport they play. There are only three sports that students have to pay to see and they are men’s basketball, football, and men’s hockey. (women’s hockey is free). This current season, for students, Men’s bball season tickets were $35, Football was around $260, and Men’s hockey was $165.

The Hockey tickets included 15 regular season home games.

Also, for the past 2 or 3 years, the Sabres and the Penguins have played a preseason game at the Peg (the hockey arena) because the family who donated the money to build the arena owns the Sabres. This year, those tickets were $25 dollars for students.

Also also, fair warning: a lot of the current hockey players do have girlfriends (I follow them on IG) but the incoming commits are pretty hot ngl (I can post pictures if desired)

Anyway, I got sidetracked.

I believe there are meet and greets to meet the different teams, and I know for women’s hockey there are opportunities to skate on the ice post game. For football, there’s Nittanyville, which in the week leading up to a home football game, people literally camp outside gate A. The team and the coach do make appearances so you can meet them there.

And then the guys. Honestly, the guys are all over the place at PSU. THere’re the typical frat bros, the bookworms, and anything in between. There’s really someone for everyone

Coffee and College

A Jaehyun college coffee bullet au that ZERO people asked for

So anyway, you're in your second year of college and you're in the groove of things (kinda) and all is well

You're on your way to your 9am French I class on the first day and you feel your phone vibrating

It's your bf and you smile thinking "aaww it's our 3yr anniversary n he's calling already to say good morning"

More like... goodbye

Yep. 8:45am he calls you to dump you in the driest most uncool way

"listen. I just ... I know this is random, but....I don't wanna do this anymore."

"oh. Uh. What? Sorry I didn't hear you?"

"I'm sorry, I just can't do this anymore I want to break up with you. I'm sorry."

"oh. Ok. Fine. Sure. Umm...if you wanna talk about it later. Then...yeah..I have French class now bye."

End of call and start of class

Yep you're third row from the back and you plan to pay attention to the syllabus talk and following lesson but

You're definitely tearing up

Like literally WHO DOES THAT?? Just dumps you at 8am no explanation??

So anyways there are teardrops on your notes now and ink isn't tear proof so...rip

Anyways thirty minutes in and your head in kinda just down and you're kinda just crying quietly

And then this kid slides into the seat next to you

He's v late

And v cute even through the tears

And he's smiling really big even though the teacher just scolded him

He sets his coffee down and looks at you wiping snot and tears away and he hands you a napkin from his bag

You take it and mutter a "thanks"

And a moment later he slides his coffee to you too

"I didn't drink it yet"

"it's an espresso, extra caffeine"

"I made it myself"

And he's back to taking notes

And you're still kinda pouting, but it's been 45+ mins so you try to at least write down the homework assignment

And you decide to sip the stupid espresso it's actually pretty good

The next day you find yourself at the school cafeteria and guess who it is??

Espresso boy!!

And it turns out that he's even cuter in uniform!

You go to order some food and he greets you with a big smile

"feeling better today?"

"kinda"

"rough day yesterday, huh?"

"yeah. Can I have a breakfast burrito?"

"no coffee?"

"no, but thanks for the free coffee yesterday. It helped. I owe you one"

"no you don't, it's on the house. And so the one I'm about to make you next. It's today's special!"

Who are you to deny another free coffee? So you take his offer and a few minutes later you're at your table eating your breakfast and doing your French homework

And the special coffee is really good

Then one of your friends comes by and is giving you a weird look

"are you drinking the nasty coffee from the cafeteria??"

"yep. Its actually really good"

And your friend's like ??? "It's usually bitter and gross tho ?? Like 10 times outta 10"

And you shrug and get back to work and your friend grabs some food and starts doing their work too

The day goes on and finally you get some time to yourself to think about yesterday

Your ex hasn't called or texted. Nothing. And it just hits you like wow. I'm. Single.

Cool.

Except not cool because you got no closure or explanation and ouch.

So you hate it but just like yesterday, you're crying again. Just. Uglier crying.

And your roommate comes back and is like "awww sweetie, fuck him"

And she says if you wipe your face she'll take you out for ice cream

So fuck the snot and tears, you want some damn ice cream

And out you go!!

Free ice cream you two stop at a park on campus and there's a basket game going on

And your roommate is like SKSSKDJS "LOOK IT'S JOHNNY SKSJDJ"

English??

"that means holy shit it's the hottest tallest nicest guy in school and he's playing basketball look at his ARMS BITCH"

So guess who's watching a pickup game of bball while eating ice cream?

You two!

Oh and guess who else is playing and is red and sweaty and had a nice jump shot?

Coffee boy.

Yup and you might not be interested in the Score, but dammit the view was nice

The game ends and Johnny is the first to come over to the side lines n greet your roommate

She's batting her eyelashes and telling him he did amazing even tho they lost

And he's smiling and chugging water as he goes on talking and coffee boy and a few of his friends are on the sidelines now looking at you

Coffee Boy is the first to say hi and all you can do is say hi back

And thank him for the coffee again

He shrugs, "no problem. Coffee fixes almost everything in college"

Almost everything. And there's an awkward silence

"see you around." He says and he walks away

Like that you never find out his name and life moves on

French class is going well and you sit in the front now and coffee boy is always late and sits in the back

You really don't do anything except exchange glances

Then midterms are coming up and you are a bit panicked bc u definitely neglected French studies

So like any good college student you cram like hell

In the library at midnight you're trying to learn vocabulary, conjugations, grammar points

You look insane by 1am bit you can't stop then you hear someone coming I'm the library

It's (literally if you can guess by now) coffee boy

And he's got 4 coffee cups in a holder with him and a huge backpack

He spots you and waves

"mind if I sit with you?"

"mind if I claim two of the coffees?"

"there all yours" and he sits next to you and slides the holder to you just like when you first met

"I made them myself"

"so you make these awesome brews?"

"yeah the schools coffee recipe is shitty."

"well maybe you should major in business and open a coffee shop. They're really good."

"maybe I will"

And you two study quietly and you peek over to see him going over French vocab

"let's quiz each other?"

"sure"

And it's 2am and you guys realize you're both fukced

Like. No vocab is sticking and the coffee had you two literally SHAKING

And by 3am you guys are just cracking up

"I never learned your name coffee boy"

"Jaehyun. Jung Jaehyun."

"well. Good luck with the test tomorrow because I. Give. Up."

And you get up to leave and he offers to walk you home and you accept for safety reasons

"I'm glad to see you so happy. You're pretty like that."

"I'm an ugly crier, huh"

"kinda."

"okay, not the gentleman answer, but I admire your honesty"

"thanks. I hope you have a good night"

Yeah the walk back was not long at all. Too bad because you really were enjoying your time

But 9am French !!!

Midterms are over after a week and it's back to the daily grind

But days are way better when you have French now bc Jaehyun sits next to you (when he's on time and the seats open) and you guys joke around alot during speaking practice

He's brings you a new coffee everyday and asks you how it tastes and what he should add or take away

And you kinda hang out at the cafeteria now so you can talk to him while he's working

Ooppsss you have developed a small™ crush on Jaehyun and it's not going away anytime soon

You even open up to him about why you crying the day you met (tho u vowed to NVR speak of it again)

Yeah now the crush is nvr dying :)))

Bc your friends notice that you always go watch him play b-ball even tho it's not a REAL game

And he always has a coffee for you

And you two are always studying French

But like...you guys are making questionable grades...so...what's up??

NOTHING

French I finals are coming and you and Jaehyun are at your usual spot in the library, except this time YOU bought HIM coffee

"what brand ?"

"gross school brand that you didn't make, but is LOADED with caffeine"

"gross. Hand me one"

"cheers!"

And it's study time

But he's not focused

Like he never is and neither are you, but it's really off now

"is it that bad?"

"the coffee? Yeah. And my French grade? It's even worse. I won't make French 2."

And you're like WTF WTF NO FRENCH 2 WITH JAEHYUN YOUR CRUSH WHO LITERALLY GOT YOU THRU THIS SEMESTER ????

"Jaehyun. We are going to fix your grade with this final. I SWEAR."

You're like REAL STUDY MODE: ON

And he has this small smile on his face.

"what?"

"you WANT me in your French 2 class don't you?"

"uuhhh-duhh free coffee to keep me up during le snooze fest"

"okay, then I owe it to you to get you to pass this class and get to French 2"

It's a miracle you get any work done really

Jaehyun passes his French 1 class with an A+ and he literally runs to your dorm to tell you

You crash into each other

He holds you to steady you

And hes like "babe I passed"

"that's great!"

"it's all thanks to you I could kiss you, but I have coffee breath and-"

"that's nothing new"

Okay and cue the totally cheesy kiss

Where Jaehyun's like "you're right, but our first kiss should be special"

Valentine Boy is a ROMANTIC okay

But it doesn't matter

You can't resist leaning in

And he lets out a fake groan like he hasn't been dying to kiss you since he first saw u snotting all over your notes

Yep he liked you then.

And the lean in was so slow, but when your lips met it was worth it

And the coffee taste.... wasn't so bad anyway

okay so i like this boi... he’s tall which is exactly my type. his face’s not bad. i’d give him a strong 7 1/2 to a light 8 out of 10 lol. i’ve been interested in his face long enough but i haven’t really given much thought about it. he’s the type where you’d say “he’s nice looking yeah right, next!”. not very memorable. he plays bball. obviously a gamer. likes anime. he’s kinda chubby which is okay though he’d look better if he’s fit and have some noticeable muscles cos the baby fats make him look like a baby. the physical is okay but i’m worried i’ll be disappointed if i make a move. idk if we’ll get on well. he doesn’t interest me. i only stalked him today to see if he’s a supporter of the damned ph president. i didn’t see any political involvement in his part tho he’s friends with someone who’s not a supporter (i think) so i’m hoping he’s not a supporter at any degree. i’m actually more interested because of the physical. i don’t know if i wanna get to know him. for now i don’t think i’m down to spend much of my time with him (given the chance) but who knows. i’m kinda confident cos i think he likes me. or is interested, probably. just last week in our calculus class he was about to walk past behind me. i was looking behind too, talking to my friend with my right arm resting on the back of the chair whereas my elbow was slightly protruding and when he’s passing by, he slightly moved my arm to get it out of the way cos there’s not much space to move about and i felt him press my forearm and his hand lingered enough for me to notice. i also notice the way he looks at me. we used to talk before and i used to greet him but idk why i don’t do it anymore. not only to him but to a lot of people too. i feel bad for drifting away. not keeping contact. not even making an effort to connect/reconnect. people i used to talk to before are strangers to me again. i feel bad to some people whom i couldn’t reciprocate my interests to reconnect even though i want to. they’d say hi and my replies are monotonous and dry as fuck. so lacking of life which projects me as a snob and uninterested.

well, i should start saying hi to him again. we’re classmates at two subjects this term. and maybe try greeting people i know.

Valentine’s Surprise: Kagami Part 2

@vball-baes-bball-babes , Here is the second part to your valentine’s gift. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for all you do.

Part 1 | Part 2

It was the end of the school day and you had yet to receive another gift from your “secret valentine”. While packing your bags you hoped, maybe they had snuck something into your locker again, but after further consideration figured you might be getting greedy.

You heard someone approaching and looked up from your supplies.

“Hello, Jade.”

You gave the boy a thankful smile, “Hi Kuroko. Thanks for not scaring me this time.”

He just nodded. Then held out his hand. A hand that held your unopened letter.

You immediately jumped out of your chair, grabbed it and hugged the boy.

“Thank you so much! I’m so happy you didn’t let him read this. It would have ruined everything and made it awkward and just thank you Kuroko. You-you don’t know what it means to me.” You held your smile as you pulled away. A small wall of tears building in your eyes.

Having almost forgot about the mishap surrounding the letter, it made you even more ecstatic to see it was unopened.

“But that’s not what—”

His comment was cut off as your phone began to ring. “Oh, just a second Kuroko. Hello?” You turned slightly away so you wouldn’t seem as rude in taking the call.

“JADE! Get out here. Fast.” Then the call ended.

You did not fully understand why Charlie had called you with that message, but figured it was better to play along. “Sorry, Kuroko. Looks like I gotta run. Thanks again for keeping my letter safe. I owe you!”

You gave him a last smile before leaving to find your friend.

“But I didn’t. I tried getting him to read it and he refused…” The blue haired boy sighed in defeat as he realized nothing was going to go easily between you and his Light.

“Holy…” You sighed out, once you reached the student court yard.

Someone had done the most intricate chalking of your personage you had ever seen. And, it presented you in such a happy state. Crows feet shown with reflection of the sun, the smile of the image bringing rule smiles to passerby’s.

The artist had slightly curled your shoulder length hair to give it a fuller look in the work and your normally brown eyes seemed to have specks of gold in them. But it was undeniable that the image was supposed to be you. What with your signature glasses being present…you were completely shocked.

It took you almost a minute to gain control over your breathing.

“Wow…” You finally expressed after what felt like hours of staring at the portrait.

Charlie laughed, “Wow? Well, duh. Wow. Its freaking fantastic? Who did this? Do you have any idea?” Your friend turned to face you, facing your shoulders towards themselves, but your eyes were glued to the portrait.

“No.” You answered simply. “But I want to.”

Charlie watched you stare at the chalking. Studying the gaze in your eyes that told you were in complete adoration. (Not with what the drawing was of particularly, but of how much effort someone went through to show you they cared for you).

A few feet away, Kagami stood watching you with your friend.

The smile your features held eased the tension in his shoulders.

“Kagami-kun.”

The red head jerked at the sudden voice behind him. Turning slightly, he saw his basketball buddy and released a sigh. Running a hand down his face, he said, “Jeez, Kuroko. You’d think I’d be used to this by now…”

The blue haired boy just stared up at his teammate. “Kagami, did you do that?”

The boy in question scoffed. “Heck no, I can’t do something that good.” But he turned to look at you again.

“Did you have someone else do it for you?”

Kagami’s shoulders tightened at the accusation, but the 6’3” male made no verbal response.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” Kuroko peered around his friend before adding, “So it is Jade that you like?”

At being caught, Kagami nodded in confirmation. Still refusing to peel his gaze from your figure.

“Okay.” Kuroko said, and started walking away.

Confusion became a noose around his neck, forcing Kagami to face his blue-haired companion rather then watch your brunette strands swaying in the slight breeze. “What do you mean okay? You’ve been bugging me about this for weeks and all you can say is okay?” He asked incredulously.

Kuroko simply shrugged as he continued on his path.

Kagami, as much as he didn’t want to, followed his friend towards the main building. Wanting to question him further on the sudden change in attitude about his romantic interests.

“Well what am I supposed to do then?” You asked. Turning between Paige and Charlie. Hoping one of your friends would have a solution to your dilemma. “I want to know who my ‘secret valentine’ is, but they have not given me any hints and all the gifts just sort of appear…”

Charlie hummed in response. Indicating that you were heard, but that they were thinking through their answer.

Paige responded almost immediately after, “Well obviously they’ve been paying attention to you. I mean they put lunch in your locker, so they knew you didn’t visit between the beginning of school and lunch period. And, they put the cake on your desk, which meant they knew you didn’t hang around your next class during lunch.” She started laughing before continuing, “And they know you well enough to hit your favorite foods with a pizza at lunch and a chocolate cake for dessert.”

Charlie nodded in agreement, then added, “I’d also say they pay a lot of attention to you. The details on that picture aren’t from someone who just knows you in passing. Even if they didn’t make the image themselves they had to give the artist a LOT of direction. I mean the glasses were obviously yours but the sparks of gold that come out in your eyes when you are truly happy about something? That’s something only those who have seen it are privy to.”

“But who would like me enough to do this and not say anything?” You huffed out in annoyance. “It’s not like I’m friends with that many people…”

Both of your friends began laughing and you pouted at the insinuations.

“Please.”

“You are like…”

“The friendliest person out of our whole group.”

“And the whole basketball team knows you…”

“Right can’t forget about all those guys.”

You rolled your eyes. “Yea, sure. I totally bet that it’s one of the players. And, that Ms. I-can’t-keep-a-secret-to-save-my-life didn’t hear anything from her boyfriend. Or, that little I-know-who-everyone-likes had no indication of it.”

Paige acted like you’d stabbed her. “Me? Not keep a secret? Dahling, the things you don’t know.” She smiled at the end, to show you she wasn’t really upset.

“And I have never claimed to know everything about everyone. I can just read people easier than most in our school.” Charlie contended.

“Whatever,” You submitted. “So, how do I find out who it is?”

The two walking besides you smiled at one another. “You leave them a gift in return.” They said simultaneously.

“How?” Your eyes quirked in confusion, wondering how in the world you could leave a gift for someone you didn’t know.

“In your locker.”

“Or the courtyard.”

“Or, make an announcement at school.”

“Oh! I like that option. Good job, Paige!” Charlie complimented.

Paige flipped her long hair over her shoulder with a smirk, “Thanks.”

“So I’m just going to make a school wide announcement?” You were amazed at their combined stupidity. “Yea right. That’d be too embarrassing. And, what would I even say? No, no thank you. Next option.”

“Nah, we’ve decided.” Paige winked at you.

Charlie wrapped you in a side hug. Stepping away added, “Tomorrow be ready to read out a page during the announcements.” Waving goodbye, your friend only had one more thing to say. “Paige, have fun with Teppei tonight. But see if you can pull any information from him. If it is one of the boys, I wanna know.”

The girl still standing besides you held a thumbs-up before giving her own goodbyes and taking off in the opposite direction.

“How do I get myself into these situations?” You asked the sky.

Unfortunately, no response came. You continued on your way home, all the time thinking about if its really worth the possible embarrassment.

During after school practice, Kagami had somehow gotten over whatever bump in the road held his attention during lunch.

Everyone was happy that their star team member was back at peak performance but already missed the ease that they had defeating him earlier. Hyuga and Teppei were taking a break, drinking water and drying off while watching all the underclassmen continue a few drills.

“It’s kinda like a switched flipped in him.” Hyuga offered.

Teppei agreed silently but was busy checking the clock every possible second.

His captain laughed at him before cutting his friend a break. “Just leave early.” The expectant look given in return was nothing but a plea for seriousness. Laughing the dark-haired male repeated his sentiment. “Have fun with Paige but be ready to practice harder tomorrow. Can’t have you slacking on us now.”

Teppei smiled, said his thanks and left the gym.

“Aw young love.” Riko said, approaching the team captain.

Hyuga smiled at Teppei’s retreating figure. “Yea, well he isn’t nearly as bad as Kagami.”

The pair laughed out with ease.

Calming down, Riko asked, “When do you think they will figure out they have the hots for each other?”

Hyuga pretended to think for a second. “I think Charlie might have caught on. Paige probably has her suspicions. As for Jade? If her interactions are any indication, she probably doesn’t even realize Kagami thinks of her as an actual person.”

Riko nodded and waved her hand for her friend to continue.

“I think tomorrow Jade’s friends will make her do something ridiculous to figure out who her secret valentine is. Kagami is going to feel threatened because it isn’t going to work out the way everyone has planned and he will confess to her outright. She’ll think its some prank the team is pulling on her and break out into tears until he calms her down. He’ll say he wants to prove it to her with a kiss because that’s what they do in America but that he doesn’t want to make her if she doesn’t like him back. Then the rest will play out like one of those romance movie stories you love so much, Riko.”

The basketball coach stood in awe of the captain’s imagination.

Neither realized a blue haired boy standing behind them. Hearing everything. And, agreeing that it was the most likely scenario.

Kuroko decided he didn’t want to risk the possibility of either his friends being upset over a misunderstanding. And walked out of practice.

Your doorbell rang, pulling your thoughts from the homework you had just started to work on.

“Hello?”

The voice on the other side was flat in responding. “Jade. If you are free, I’d like to speak.”

You opened the door and adjusted your glasses. “Oh, hello Kuroko.”

“Sorry for the bother.” He said. “Kagami is your secret admirer.”

You rolled your eyes and scoffed. “Yea okay. Thanks, Kuroko.”

He huffed out in annoyance and looked down to his pup. Silently asking for assistance from the inhuman creature. “I’m not joking, Jade.”

Looking directly into his empty eyes, you hoped you’d see some sort of tell, but they were as blank as always. “Kuroko. Kagami is a basketball prodigy. He is spectacular at pretty much everything he seems to put his mind on. He is super tall, and smart, and funny, and he has a smile that can melt metal. And you’re trying to tell me he is secretly fascinated with a pun loving, cheese head that writes fiction in her free time? Yea, okay. Thanks for playing.”

You went to shut the door. To wallow in self-pity. Sure, you had wanted it to be Kagami, you loved the tall basketball player after all, but you couldn’t see yourself as good enough for him.

Kuroko blocked the door with his body, and you blinked at how suddenly he seemed to have gotten in the way. “I’m not joking. He didn’t read the card even thought I begged him to because he wanted to see if you liked him after he finished his plan. He was upset during lunch because he didn’t see your reaction to the pizza and poem, and then you were sharing it with Paige. He also second guessed if his plan was worth it and acceptable since it could be considered stalker-y.” The boy kept listing off reasons why he thought you secret admirer was Kagami and then he dropped a bombshell. “And, when I asked him how he did the chalking he told me he hired an artist to do it so he could see your reaction to one of his gifts.”

The shock on your face told the blue haired male you were just started to believe in the possibility. So, he grabbed your hand and dragged you out of your house.

“Now, come with me.” He simply stated, giving you time to shut and lock your house door before following him back towards the school.

“Kagami, make sure you get some rest tonight.” Hyuga chastised before exiting the gym.

The red headed player nodded his consent before returning to practice his free throws. He kept trying different forms, seeing which was more consistent. Kagami was pretty upset with his performance during lunch and wanted to be able to impress you when you came in the next day.

It had been a few minutes of no noise coming from anything except him and the basketballs he worked with. So, imagine his surprise when his name was suddenly called followed by a mid-pitched bark.

“Kagami.”

“Bark-bark!”

The shot he was in the middle of rolled from his fingers, barely reaching the rim and falling outside of the basket. He had frozen in place and could rival a statue after being so thoroughly shocked.

Slowly, his blood returned to his extremities and Kagami began to chastise the shadow of Seirin. “Kuroko, you need to stop scaring—” But Kagami cut himself off seeing that his blue-haired teammate was standing next to you.

To him, you looked like a goddess in the light. You chocolate brown hair, and eyes that seemed to shine brighter than a star hidden behind your favorite pair of glasses. “Hello.” He said simply.

You nodded at him but turned away.

He smile dropped and he turned his attention back to Kuroko. “What’s up?”

The boy looked between his two friends. After realizing neither would say a thing on their own he decided to state the obvious before leaving them to their own devices. “Jade likes you, the letter I tried getting you to read earlier was from her.” Before your opened mouth could protest, Kuroko held up a silencing hand signal and continued. “And I told her that you were her secret valentine. She doesn’t believe me. But I told her about the drawing and the jealousy you felt that through you off your game at lunch.” Again, before an argument could be made from the other two individuals in the room, Kuroko moved on. “So, you two work it out and I’ll see you both tomorrow.”

Following his spiel, the blue haired male left, little Tetsuya following close on his heels.

It took you and Kagami a few minutes to process everything that Kuroko had shared.

“I didn’t not believe him, I just didn’t think you’d—”

“It wasn’t that I didn’t want to read your letter, I just didn’t know it—”

You both had tried speaking at the same time and cut off almost equally as well.

Laughing at the awkwardness, you motioned for your crush to go first.

He sighed as he walked closer to you. “I didn’t let him tell me who the letter was from. If I knew it was yours I would have read it. I’m sorry.”

The shock that took over your features did nothing to dissuade his rant.

“Yes, I left the gifts. I originally thought it’d be a nice game. Something from a romance story that would help my case in the event you didn’t like me. But the more I thought about it the more I thought about how creepy it’d be. Someone riffling through your stuff to leave behind food and a creepy poem? Someone leaving more food in your seat? Like, not only could that be taken as you are having a stalker, but also what if the food had been poisoned?” His voice hitched as he changed his pattern of speech, “Speaking of, how could you be so trusting? It could have been someone trying to kill you? And, you just trusted it??”

During this break in his speech you laughed, clutching your stomach. “Kagami, I-I just…hahaha…I don’t refuse free food like that? And, I think anyone going to that much trouble to give me stuff I live wouldn’t really want to hurt me.”

He smiled at you, but disbelief still stood in his eyes.

You even your breathing and began your own short interlude. “I didn’t think you even saw me as anything other then the quiet girl that hung around Teppei’s girlfriend. I’ve had a crush on you for so long but never thought of myself as good enough for you. Also, that letter was a dare from a friend. I never meant for it to get out. If you had read it I feared what little interactions we had would come to a screeching halt because you wouldn’t want to be bothered by someone like me.” You shrugged away your own comments but missed the look that crossed his face. “I just didn’t want to risk the building friendship I thought I was creating with you.”

He rolled his eyes and threw caution to the wind. Wrapping you in a tight hug. The warmth he felt from the contact eased his racing heart.

And, the warmth you felt from him caused your heart to race even more.

You slowly moved to hug him in return and he visibly relaxed.

“I’d wanted to do that and more for so long.” He breathed out lowly.

Leaning back, you looked up into his deep colored eyes. “And more..?” You asked shyly.

The smirk that mixed with his half-smile had your knees nearly buckling.

He winked at you but went back to his simple embrace. “Later. This is enough for now.”

It felt as though he had closed his eyes. You returned the silent gesture and tightened your hold on him.

After a few minutes you both pulled apart.

“Well, I guess I found my secret valentine.” You laughed out a bit nervously.

“Does it bother you that it’s me?” He asked, picking up a ball by his feet and twirling it on his finger, pretending to not care about your answer.

You scoffed at him, “Please. I am doing cartwheels in my head I am so happy.”

He held a full smile as he dropped the ball. “Awesome.”

Your pair laughed a little before you asked, “So, what do we do from here?”

Holding out his arm, the smile on his face unwavering, “Well, it’s still Valentine’s day. How about you let me treat you to a nice dinner?”

The way he asked it seemed to say he was still nervous you’d reject him. Without hesitation, you took his arm saying, “I’d go anywhere with you Kagami.”

“Thank you, Jade.” He pulled you closer and kissed the top of your head. “I’m glad you accepted me as your Valentine.”

Kuanlin college!AU (that kinda wasnt a college au, idk i got a bit sidetracked by basketball lmao) ALSO HAPPY BDAY KUANLIN BBY HOPE UR SWEET SIXTEENTH IS LOVELY LIKE U KIDDO

he’s well known around campus as THE international student

like a guy who appeared from a manga/manhwa, he has godly features and proportions

just a very perfect looking human

He’s also the guy that still seems to be having a growth spurt because you swear he’s taller than he was a month ago

Has a keen interest in languages, so he’s doing a double degree in Korean and English

People’s first impression of him are always that he’s this really cool guy

He has this signature outfit of a bomber jacket and ripped jeans

and sunglasses

Everyone’s eyes are always drawn to him immediately

“he looks like a celebrity!”

as soon as he took off his sunglasses and sat down, he gave everyone this cute gummy smile and introduced himself

Despite his fashionable attire, he’s rather introverted and sticks to the same group of friends

The first time you met was in class at the start of your first year

you were running late because you had gotten lost because there had been a mistake in the timetable

you had made it in the correct building but it was seriously like a maze

and there was like 2 minutes left until the lecture would start but you were still so lost

1 minute to go and you were about to give up

when Kuanlin strolls past you leisurely

He’s about to turn the corner when he glances back at you

“um…”

you glanced over at the sound of his voice

“…if you’re looking for the lecture room for korean, it’s over this way…”

You thanked him in relief and followed him around 2 more corners before making it to a seat just in time for the lecture begin

After the lecture was over you spotted him leaving and you had rushed over to him

“Hey, thank you so much for showing me where this room was, you’re a life saver!”

He had looked away and you saw a slight pink flush light up his cheeks

“Happy to help.”

Your resolution when you were beginning college was to make lots of new friends so you decided, hey why not start now

“I’m Y/N by the way, it’s nice to meet you!”

As you introduced yourself, the two of you walked in step with each other

Turns out you do almost all the same papers as he does

The two of you end up just having this sort of silent seating plan

Like it randomly started one day and since then the two of you have always sat next to each other

Round mid semester exam time, the two of you would study together in the library

You’d take turns buying each other coffees

Kuanlin has remembered your coffee order in one go, much to your surprise

He gives off a very innocent vibe despite his mature appearance

He also tends to be very focused, and will always keep his emotions in check

Unlike you, because during exam time, u were streeeeesssed out

A complete contrast to Kuanlin’s very calm soul

The only times he breaks free from the calm is when he finds something funny

Like he’ll break out into this cute breathy laughter that’s super adorable

Because he’s an international student, he struggled to settle in at first at college

but after joining a few clubs and being introduced and meeting lots of nice people, Kuanlin really thrives in the college life

There is this really prestigious basketball team at your college - “Wanna One” and every semester they participate in a tournament against other college teams

Wanna One’s biggest rival is a team called “Mnet” (lol mnet, what a punny bball team name)

It’s such an intense competition as the winning club gets a huge benefit

like helping funding for national and overseas tournaments, helping paying off college tuition fees, getting more exposure to professional basketball scouters etc

It’s tough though because Mnet is a team that tends to play dirty and will try to dramatise anything so the other team will get fouled (can y’all tell im having way too much fun with this)

A few of your friends, and friends of friends are in Wanna One

So you went to the tournament to cheer them on

You noticed from the crowd that there’s a new but familiar face in the team

The arrival of the new maknae, the hidden ace, Lai Kuanlin

No one outside of W1, as well as yourself had ever seen him play basketball before

so everyone’s a bit worried because the stakes on the game are so high

but those worries were all put to rest as soon as Kuanlin stepped on the court

The star shooter of the match, he didn’t miss a single hoop and ended up being the player who raked in the most points helping W1 claim victory

After the game, you, Wanna One and all their friends went to a karaoke place to celebrate

You were sandwiched between Daehwi and Jisung who were singing their hearts out to some girl group songs

Everyone’s laughing and having a good time

But then you noticed Kuanlin surrounded by all these girls/new found admirers

And although he looked slightly flattered by the situation he also looked very uncomfortable due to the sudden attention on him

You weren’t too sure if you should intervene or not, and just as you decided you were going to say something, Jisung shoved the microphone into your face forcing you to sing with them

After many more songs, you decided this would be a good time to go outside to get some fresh air and a break from all the ruckus

“Y/N? what are you doing out here?”

Kuanlin was sitting on a bench outside the karaoke place

“I thought I’d take a break from the noise, it was getting stuffy in there…what about you, you’re the star of the night, you should be in there celebrating with the others!”

“Same as you, the craziness was getting to me”

You gave a light pat on the back, “Things wont be that normal for you anymore, you’re practically a celebrity!”

Kuanlin had just hmm-ed in response, getting lost in his thoughts again

After that day, you didn’t see Kuanlin as often anymore, which surprised you

it was weird and out of character of him to not have him showing up to classes

and there was always one empty seat next to you, which made your heart ache a bit?

you felt sad that you hadn’t been able to see him at all recently, and he had been extremely slow in replying to any of your messages

Turns out this applied to all your friends in W1 too

You found out eventually that they were preparing for the big national tournament in the coming month, so they were too exhausted to go to class

Videos were popping up on snapchat and facebook of them practising late into the night/morning

sometimes only getting 1 hour of sleep every night, maybe less

you were so shocked, your friends were being overworked like crazy by their coaches, but they just kept smiling and saying that they’re happy

Your birthday comes round, and you decided that you were just going to have a small gathering because all your friends were busy

You sat in the dorm corridor with a small group of your close friends

As you blew out the candles to your cake, you couldn’t help feel upset that none of the boys had been able to make it, or even respond to your invitation

You knew that they’re incredibly busy, so you’re annoyed at yourself for blaming them

You forced a smile onto your face and thanked your friends who had showed up, and after digging into the cake, you all retreated back into your rooms

The clock on your desk ticks away, and as it hits 11.59pm, you sigh

For some reason you had wished that at least Kuanlin could’ve turned up for your birthday

You had stopped denying that you missed him dearly

you missed his voice and his laugh

and his friendship

you also missed that warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach whenever he smiled at you

A few tears roll down your cheek and you wipe them away angrily

Why are you getting so worked up over a boy?

A boy who is just a friend

Just a friend who bought you multiple coffees

and took notes for you in class that week when you were sick

and accompanied you on late night walks to McDonalds

A sharp knock on your door echoes through your room

Looking at the clock, it’s 3am, and you realise you fell asleep

who tf would be knocking at 3am tho

It’s saturday night, so you’re scared it’s some drunk person causing a scene so you stay in your room

Another knock, but this time a voice rings clearly with it

“Y/N? Are you awake?”

You go over to the door, and after a bit of hesitation you open it

Kuanlin is standing there, holding a present and looking apologetic

“Surprise! Happy Birthday Y/N!”

“You’re three hours late.” you turn your back on him and return to your room with him following behind

“Oh cmon, dont be like that, haven’t you missed me?? Me and the guys are sorry that we couldn’t make it earlier…”

silence

“Y/N? did you hear me?”

He turned on the light and looked at your face clearly

“oh…Y/N, are you crying??”

You shake your head angrily but there’s no denying the tears running down your face

Kuanlin is so concerned, and pulls you into a hug

“Hey, hey, hey it’s alright, what’s made you so upset?”

You hug him back, clinging to him, your anger evaporating at the close proximity

instead your heart is now pounding at an insane speed and you can feel the cheeks starting to heat up

“I just…I’ve just really missed you, you idiot”

you try to disengage yourself from the hug and hide your face but Kuanlin just wipes away your tears gently with his thumbs before pulling you closer and patting your hair

“I missed you too Y/N, a lot.”

He pulls away slightly and hands you the present

“The basketball season is drawing to a close, so we get to go on a break for a few weeks, I just thought I’d come let you know in person and give you this at the same time.”

His face is tinged with pink and he scratches the back of his neck in embarrassment.

After unwrapping it you see it’s a beautifully and intricately designed necklace

You marvel over it as it sits delicately in the palm of your hand

He’s still nervously looking at you trying to assess your reaction

“UH…if you don’t like it, there’s an exchange card in the gift box, so if you don’t want it you can change it to something nicer at the shop just in case you -”

“Kuanlin, it’s beautiful, i really love it”

“YOU DO?”

this boy had spent hours at that shop trying to find that freaking necklace

and every single member of W1 had seen it and reassured him that you’d like it

but he was still nervous af the poor kid

He took a deep breath to try calm himself down as he took the necklace from your hand and signalled for you to turn round

you did and he gently pushed your hair to the side

his fingertips brushed your neck as he put the necklace on you and you couldn’t help but shiver

Suddenly his arms wrapped round your waist and you were enveloped by his warm body

“Y/N…Happy belated Birthday.”

After Kuanlin left that night, you lay in bed replaying the scene over and over in your head

Something about your relationship with him was different now, but in a good way

Playing with the necklace still hanging round your neck, you smiled to yourself

Who knows how things will go from here, but right now all you can think about is the next time you’ll see Kuanlin and how much you liked being in his embrace

huhuhu i always struggle to end my AUs and they turn out extra mushy, im sorry! I’m going to try really hard to do at least one update a week, but because my final exams are coming up real quick I can’t promise anything! Review of NYR 2016 for 2017

Didn't realise that there was no NYR for 2017?! But nevertheless let's just do a review for 2016 and see what's been done and what's left to do ◡̈ 1) Sundown 2016 I survived a half marathon at sundown in 2015. Fitness deproved a hell lot over the past few months, but i hope to come back stronger in 2016 to complete another half marathon. // would a full marathon be possible? HAHA ok fine shall not be too ambitious. Won't be doing this in 2017, but if my work stabilises in 2018 and I get my fitness up I'd try 2) ABS & Volleyball BBG? Time to get things started huh. & Volleyball - I want to continue to make these weekly sessions a constant in my life. It may sound easy considering the fact that I got it going, but to maintain this lifestyle over time still requires a considerable amount of dedication and commitment. This is definitely checked ;) despite leaving GSP, I've been really active in Volleyball (about twice a week at least), and grabbing every opportunity to play other sports like bball. Everything has been great for me, tho not regularly but I try to make a point to do some core exercises in the weekdays as well. So hopefully I can keep all of these going and be fitter even as I age :/ 3) Driving Getting a license in 2016 may be overly-ambitious, after all i would probably only be starting in the second half of the year. Furthermore, it’s gonna cost money and 2016 is gonna be a costly year if im planning a #4 Family Trip to Korea. Finally proud to say that this is in progress in 2017! Passed my FTT this year and into my 6th lesson of driving alr. Still a long way to go but let's do thisssss 4) Family Trip - Korea / Japan / Both it’s mum’s dream to travel to Korea & Japan. Not sure if it’s financially advisable to plan both together, but let’s make at least one happen :) YESSS CHECKED to Hokkaido, Japan. YES simplified version achieved on Instagram! It's been really encouraging hearing ppl tell me that my voice sounds nice and I should go pursue smth more. What is Applying for a Job?

How goes it prof?

Miss ya bud. I have been making quite a bit more trips to Manhappenin than before, but it’s all good with me. Last night I went over to Silb’s house and we just practiced playing some LoL and he taught me how to be better, so that was fun. We played some 2-on-2 bball with O-dog and his dad, and boy oh boy am I out of shape! We were just playing some casual pick up basketball and I was getting a little out of breath! I really need to start running or biking or something to do with my cardio before my heart gives out after walking across campus for the first time next semester. It was really nice to see our boy from “the Academy” again. He seemed to be doing really well and finding his place amidst the grueling training and tasks that they put him through. He wall went to Texas Roadhouse *wink wink nudge nudge* hahah. I hope you will get to see him at least once this summer, but I know he came to visit you at school so you got a lil tasty taste. Pretty pumped for tomorrow because me and the Silbs and maybe Maxwell are gonna go golfing (or really just to the driving range). Again, wish you could be there to just have a guys day with us and just casually hit some balls.

So yeah I have been applying to various jobs this past week since our old job has no immediate need for us. And I am excited to tell you that I will be working at our local movie theater with your Mathletes president protege! The boss seems pretty chill and I get a TON of perks with this job, so that is awesome. I am honestly just happy to have some sort of purpose this summer instead of wasting away on my couch doing nothing. Plus I get to make some money which is always a good thing for college kids who aren't the offspring of millionaires. Had an interview with them and then another time where I had to go fill out some paperwork, so overall, it has been a pretty chill application process. And on the topic of work, I am really glad that you are starting to find some people, and a ride, so soon. Also, that guy who praised the sun at you from across the room sounds pretty cool. You should play some Souls with him. And it also sounds like the workplace is pretty laidback since you left and arrived 2 hours late/early to work because they told you to. Keep me updated on how things develop and if you come across anything cool while you work.

And just to bring our current deep convo to an end on my end, I see your point in being careful with my words and the danger of embracing the darkness in us. What I think sums up what I am trying to say is a Star Wars reference. I don't know how acquainted with Star Wars lore you are, the only reason I know this is from watching some videos on the recent Star Wars trailer. So we all know about the Light and Dark side of the Force, a parallel to the good and bad we all encounter in life and throughout society. But what most casual fans don't know is that there is a third side to the Force called the Balance. It is basically a movement to end both sides of the never-ending conflict that melds both sides of the Force into one. It is an understanding of the “power of the Dark side”, but the willpower and inner strength of the Light side to resist the temptations that come with it to transcend the limitations and faults of both sides. I think this is exactly what I was trying to convey earlier, and I think you know that, but it just perfectly sums up my thoughts (while also proving how nerdy I am and how deep and relevant these stories are). I also just wanna add that I think this is the way of life that I have always tried to live by, even if I didn't know it. You can kinda see the seeds of this mentality in things like “you learn from mistakes” and sayings and yadda yadda. Just something to get you thinking.

To end, I just wanna thank you for the book/activity recommendation, I will have to check it out! Hope you are enjoying the wifi right now since you don't have it in your place right now. Question of the week: What is hope to you? Like what does having hope look and feel like and how is it different than being hopeless? Recommendation: try something new food-wise. This may be actually eating something new that you haven't before, or it could be tackling something in the kitchen that you haven't done, like cooking a meal that requires more than boiling some water. rn im in a hotel room and i’m going to twitter tomorrow for a program i applied for.. and to think a year ago was BALL. time goes by so quickly. things are so different...i’m still w Colin?? I’m happy with myself. i hope for more self-growth because I feel like a happier person.

i am so much more grateful for everything in my life -- my health, my family, the opportunity to get an education, the caring and supportive peers/ friends that i have, and just myself too.

i’ve really grown to really love myself, and i’m definitely not as sensitive as i used to do be. ofc, i know i could be smarter. i know i could be more efficient at studying. i know i could focus more. but i think i’m really just trying to live my life with a balance. my mental health is at a good place because i feel like most of the time, i feel good or ok about my life. yes, i stress a lot and get anxious easily, but that’s lowkey my personality i realized ( lol) i say this as i sit chilling in this chair @ hotelzelos!! but like i know i’m just trying to find a balance.

yesterday was the first time i was ever lit at a frat event, and ngl it was soo much better lmfao like what did i do being sober at all the frat things i went to in the past. this really good looking guy ( with a nice ass body omg) told me i was sexy but i was like i have a boyfriend!!! still a good compliment. he asked me if my bf was white and i was like yeh! and he laughed and iwas like why is that funny!! and he was like you’re into white guys. funny story, he transferred from ucla? like wow??? anywho i kept saying the boyfriend thing lols. THIS other beautiful girl came up to me and called me pretty and honestly that was so kind i love girls who are loving. at a certain point i came across this guy who was in my math and cs classes first quarter who used to always (lowkey or highkey??) look at me and i think he called me hot?and i quote, he said, “ oh shit, girls notice?” like homie idk about others but i’m p damn transparent.

i talked to my mom about struggles i’ve been having with colin today, and she did the most wonderful thing. she just listened. she didn’t say anything about her disapproval. she kinda just listened and it was so nice to trust my mom.

i’m actually pretty sad about not having an internship, but IM A SWE OFFICER! for next year :))) <3 i’m excited. also hope it entails more opportunities. but i hecka need to practice my coding next year.

what i realized is that honestly, things do happen for a reason. the one thing i get really nervous abotu sometimes is about the 3 years of engineering ahead of me, but i need to realize that i can do it. i’ve withstood bullying, no self esteem, anxiety/ depression, endless fights w parents during my terrible teen phase, and fucking long distance, and 11 fricking ap exams. gotta keep my gpa at a 3.4 tho lol. this quarter, that might be a strug lol. gotta stay above at a 3.1 at least LMAO. life gets a little hard academically for my sometimes tho. hopefully i did ok on my physics test (lol). it was rlly hard but i gave it my all. despite sickness and allergies :))))))))

side note. thursday night rohan and this other girl im friends w were at late night and relationships and long distance came up. and honestly i had a realization that distance isnt rlly working out for me. and like i think that i love colin, but it doesn’t feel the same anymore. idk if its the stress but we’re gonna have to “reevaluate” during the summer if i can’t be more affectionate? which frankly idk if i can do, so let’s see what happens. i just feel like we could never have a clean, drama-free breakup. i feel like there would be some sort of blocking on social media. some sort of we can’t see each other at social events. idfk what im doing w my life. eric and ananya are still doing distance? so are holly and boris? idk. why am i so interpretative of this. anyways.

i rlly should get back to math soon. i miss going to the gym. goals when i get back: make sure to go to the gym and play bball! exercise is good for me. might help w my sleep anxiety.

don’t you sometimes wanna know how your life works out? because i sure do. college and academic wise. relationship wise.

i rlly hope my mom has her own house by the end of this year. that’s honestly something that would be so amazing.
