While I was upset to learn that a lot of Mob Psycho fans don't like Ritsu's awakening arc, through reflection, I've figured out why I enjoy it so much.

Of course, I could talk about how interesting Ritsu's character is and how his breakdown, for me, was fascinating to watch, but there is a simpler reason. A more, stupid reason.

I have not only two younger brothers but three young cousins around that 13-15 year old range. Imagining any of them in Ritsu's position is so absurd and funny, every time I rewatch it, I enjoy it more and more. Comparing and contrasting them to Ritsu is pure entertainment, because yeah! Some of them would start beating up random gang members as an outlet for their frustration, that's such a teenager boy thing to do.

thinking about my job ! idk man i really really love my job yesterday i went through this girl's maths tests with her just like . bc i was there and i could . (i was off the clock, but only just so i figured i'd just help get her started) and it was sweet !! it was sweet she did really fucking well on one of them and pretty well on another and like idk i really just like teaching i like being part of these kids' lives and i don't think that i'm a big part of their lives or anything, but i do hope that i can give them a sweet moment here or there......... it's just nice i like it i'm so grateful i was able to find and get this job i am so happy that this is something i get to do
