THANK YOU! I was really confused about the timeline, but your explanation makes sense. TBH, I don't follow Boruto much, I mostly watch episodes featuring Sakura (sue me), and it was weird to me. BUT doesn't it contradict previous episodes (like E18) where Ino asked Sakura if Sasuke's in contact with her AT ALL? And Sakura said no, BUT, if it's BEFORE Gaiden, Ino's like: "OH, you were on a month long mission with Sasuke! 😏". I swear, I despise SP so much...
I watch/read only when Sakura is there too so don't worry.
Doesn't it contradict previous episodes (like E18) where Ino asked Sakura if Sasuke's in contact with her AT ALL?
Yes it does, but that's just Studio Pierrot's essence😂 If they had the audacity to foresee the timeline detail it's even less likely that they'd realize that dialogue mistake. Episode 18 was filler after all and I think it was Honda who wrote it so no big deal, he has a personal vendetta against sasusaku.
Now that I recall, it's not the first time SP makes Ino say completely pointless stuff when she's around Sakura. In episode 170 when both are drinking and chatting, I remember that the fillers made Ino say Sakura cut her hair in the Chūnin Exams for her instead of for survival like it actually was. She really made that scene all about herself and I was speechless.

Naruto was still his closest bond after Itachi he was alone but he knew he had to kill Naruto who was a big deviation from his goal . Shows sasuke really cherishes Naruto . What are you talking about? How does Naruto being Sasuke's closest bond at the time mean that he never cherished Sakura? Just because someone has a best friend, that doesn't mean they don't also cherish all of their other friends. And to make matters worse, you're speaking in the present tense, as if Sasuke cherishes his Naruto but not his own wife. Furthermore, killing Naruto also wasn't a big deviation from his goal, because Naruto stood directly in the way of his goal.

Something I just noticed is that when Sakura threw that huge stone pillar at Shin, that wasn't chakra enhanced strength, because that requires you to release the chakra on impact when punching or kicking, which is why it needs immaculate chakra control. You can't apply that to when you're throwing objects, so during that scene, there was no application of precise chakra control involved - that was purely Sakura's natural brute strength:
It didn't click at first, but rewatching that scene made me realise that it was similar to when Tsunade picked up Gamabunta's huge sword. Both of them were feats of natural brute strength, no enhancement needed. So therefore, Sakura's power doesn't solely rely on the chakra enhancement, she has natural monstrous strength as well.

I don't know how people saw Kakashi confirming the sincerity of Sakura's love for Sasuke and how she only wanted to save him, and still believe that she only liked him for his looks.
I don't know how people saw Karin confirming that Sarada is Sakura's biological daughter, and still believe that she was some form of experiment.
I don't know how people saw Sakura mentioning during her confessions how Sasuke wouldn't be happy if he continued down the path of vengeance, and how she wanted to return to the days where he was genuinely smiling, and still believe that her confessions were totally selfish and all about herself.
I don't know how people saw Sasuke describing Sakura as a precious comrade and how he eventually saw the shadow of his family within her and the rest of Team 7, and still believe that he never gave a damn about her.
I don't know how people had the idea of the Curse of Hatred shoved down their throats so many times and how Sasuke's Pt.2 self was molded by the loss of love in his past, and still believe that Sasuke was completely himself throughout the whole series.
I don't know how people watched the Sakura vs Ino fight with the former explicitly explaining how she wanted to escape from Ino's shadow, and still believe Sakura ditched her friend over a boy.
I don't know how people saw how Gaiden ended with words literally confirming that the love between the Uchiha family is the real deal, and still believe that Sasuke was somehow forced into it.
Believe me I have plenty more, the list just goes on and on.

Did you see the new official naruto art? Apparently Sasuke looks unhappy because he is chewing food that Sakura feeds him with. 🤦♀️
And I saw an anti say, that Sakura apparently still doesn’t know Sasuke because she feeds him sweets and he hates sweets.
Yeah I saw it, I just took it as Sasuke being a little comically uncomfortable with Sakura's public display of affection, but of course all these anti extremists will use this to say how unhappy Sasuke is, how selfish Sakura is, how even SP shits on their relationship, and all the rest of their typical bullshit. So clearly, they're okay with using non canon but official artwork to make these assertions when it suits them. But then when an episode like Boruto 136 comes out with the scene where Sasuke reunites with Sakura at their house, looks at her with all the love in the world, says how appreciative he is for everything she's done for him, and gives her the genuine smile that they claim he only ever gives to Naruto:

Then they of course label it as nothing but filler with an OOC Sasuke. So they're fine to use non-canon artwork to hate on SS and claim the studio does the same thing, but when the studio comes out with an anime canon scene that shits all over their theories, they turn around and label it as non canon nonsense.
They always demonstrate these stupid double standards - picking and choosing when to use (by their definition) non canon sources. One of the best examples is when they're always so quick to twist Sakura's words during Sakura Hiden to make it seem as though she forced herself on Sasuke. So clearly, they're fine with using the novels to backup their asinine assertions. But when we refer to something like Sasuke Retsuden which again shits all of their claims, they'll of course backtrack and call the novels non canon fan fics, so typical.

There are a lot of ‘what-ifs’, and Sakura as a non-Sharingan user won’t be able to help her child directly in the future. Sasuke and Sarada being the last of the Uchiha clan also gave her anxiety. If Sarada were to have her Mangekyo Sharingan activated, does that mean her husband has to sacrifice his eyes? or even worse, his life?
As a mother, you wouldn’t want your child to suffer. Naruto and Sasuke being the leader of the village was to ensure their children safety and happiness. If Sarada were to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan in the future, does that mean that their goal to have a better future was not attainable?
Of course this conversation will definitely show up sooner or later. When Sarada knew the truth behind the Uchiha clan? Will she react calmly or will she eventually despise the village like Sasuke did? No matter how old you are, you will not be completely ready to know that your whole clan was killed by your father’s brother, even if it was for a greater good.
Does that mean only Sakura is worried about Sarada? No. Sasuke is just as worried as Sakura. Their opinions are affected by their childhood, Sakura growing up in a non-shinobi family and Sasuke growing up in a shinobi family. That is also why Ino and Hinata are ‘calmer’, both of them was also from a shinobi family. In a shinobi household, you are required to train hard in order to survive or to continue the household’s legacy especially for those who had ‘special’ bloodline. So for them (Sasuka, Ino, Hinata), their kids wanting to be stronger seems normal because that was what they had to endure in the past. Its different from Sakura who grew up in a non-shinobi family, there is less expectation for sure.
Sakura is not useless and definitely not wanting Sarada to be useless. As a mother, she is not ready to see her child experiencing the bitter truth of the world. Being a shinobi, death is something inevitable. No mother is ready for it no matter how 'well-prepared’ they are.
Note. Looking at the conversation between Sakura and Sasuke was really heartbreaking for me. I do wish the conversation is animated with ‘more warmth’ between them. Seeing both of them in an argument just breaks my heart, and the Sharingan topic is still so sensitive for both of them :(
Please I just want Sasuke and Sakura to live happily until they’re old and grey. But with how the manga is going, I just don’t know anymore :((

This episode was brutal because it really felt like foreshadowing.
Sakura knows how difficult Sasuke’s life was and is afraid Sarada will experience the same. But it’s just like Sasuke said, that’s exactly why they have to make sure she is prepared to face what’s coming. I’m just so emotional over this. Eventually Sarada will have to find out the truth about her clan, Itachi, her father and all that... as parents they are postponing that moment to protect her, but some day she’ll find out and they have to be ready to answer her questions. My heart is already hurting just by thinking about that.

Something’s not right in Konoha
I’ve had this in my mind for a while now, but after episode 170, this just has to be brought up:
Why does Konoha send children on dangerous missions? I get and wholly support the catch-the-cat -kind of missions that genins got during the Naruto series, but what about all the life threatening stuff? In Kakashi’s childhood it was unavoidable; there was a war and a shortage of shinobi. In Naruto’s childhood things were calmer, but there was always a threath of war. But now? The alliance holds strong and while there’s trouble every now and then, do the children really need to fight like this? I mean, I’d get it if there was really no other options, but what about the mothers? How about sending them to the dangerous missions instead? I can accept that Sakura’s no longer in the field ‘cause she’s needed at the hospital, but Hinata? Ino? Karui? Freaking Temari, whose wind style is supposed to be second only to Naruto?
Ino has her flower shop and she helps out with intelligence gathering from time to time, but Hinata, Karui and, I repeat, Temari, seem to be housewives. Housewives! Now, there’d be nothing wrong with that if they themselves weren’t shinobi, but the fact if that they are, war veterans even, yet what do these war veterans do? Take care of the house while their 12 year olds risk their lives at their jobs!
I can understand them taking time off during pregnancy (duh), as well as early infancy to take care of the baby and let their bodies recover from the pregnancies, but after that? What stops them from going back to work instead of sending little kids to battle?
Two things:
One is that the kids need to gather experience in case there ever will be tougher times ahead. I get that, but shouldn’t they gather it at a little slower, a little safer, pace, especially when there are resources for it?
The other thing is that it’s simply a Japanese thing, so the authors probably don’t think it’s weird. As in, in Japan it’s very common for a woman to leave the workforce once she gets married, not to mention after she gets kids, so the writers probably see it as a logical thing to do in Naruto, too. The fact that all the important, non-married kunoichi (Ten Ten, Shizune, Hanabi, Kurotsuchi etc.) work, while the married ones don’t, supports this theory, and that’s just fucked up.
It’s like “Hey let’s put these kids in terrible danger! Huh? Put their trained, war veteran mothers in the field instead of them? We can’t! They’re married women, that’s unnatural!”
Like I said, it’s fucked up.
