I usually don't write asks, but I just had to voice my love for your writing. I absolutely adored the “seven minutes in heaven” series and have read “dancing with the devil” around five times now (there is a weird shortage of vampire!sunghoon fics even though it's literally Enhypen’s whole concept) since it's brilliant. The way you portray complex emotions is just chef's kiss. My mind is in overdrive on how the relationship between Y/N and Sunghoon will develop from now on, considering the betrayal. I can't wait to read more of your excellent work and how you build the characters. Keep up the fantastic work!

One of the reasons why I wrote Dancing with the Devil was exactly bcs of the shortage of vampire!enhypen/sunghoon fics like come on with the vampire concept theyve used in Border:Day One and Border:Carnival (+Scylla which kind of fits the vampire aesthetics too) -- the potential was enormous! Hence i went on and try to fill part of that gap lol hohoh)) awww thank you 🥲 I'm glad that my articulation works huhu I'm always worried that Im just waffling or something haha

enhypen’s ‘manifesto: day 1’ review

i used to have so much to say abt album releases and nowhere to dumb them so here are somenunsolicited opinions. reminder, these are my opinions and are based in my preferences. you’re free to disgaree but please don’t come forcing your opinions on me 😌

walk the line/foreshadow - not me getting caught off guard when i heard japanese like who in enha was japanese 💀 sorry. their stories always sound so amazing but BUT border:carnival’s intro is still the superior. but foreshadow is a great outro 🤔

future perfect (pass the mic) - there is a mix of elements i’m noticing in this song; mots:7 bts and a bit of ateez. it’s not a hard to listen to song, it just lacks that thing you look forward to when listening to something. the song feels redundant in terms of structure and i think that’s what makes it dull compared to other title tracks.

paradoxxx invasion - gotta love the vibe, sits in the same playlist as g-idle’s uh oh and nct’s 90s love. a part in the chorus just tickles my brain right and i like this better than the title. i get the hype.

tfw (that feeling when) - i don’t normally like mellow songs but THIS, oh i love this. i wasn’t that much of a fan of polaroid love (mellow spectrum comparison) so this took me by surprise. it’s just the perfect love song that makes my stomach stir with butterflies.

shout out - sounds like that song in an anime movie where they’re playing montages of the characters + credits but in the beginning not the end. nearly skipped it lol

conclusion: it’s not as bad as i initially expected honestly but it’s nothing that impressive. overall pretty average, 3/5. it’s the type i could put on for bg and not sing along to the lyrics bc i won’t know the lyrics 💀 kinda gave me hope that their songs could be my thing again.

and yayy i rlly liked the cb too !! i’ve been very impressed w the different kinds of genres enhypen keeps trying, i feel like i’ve had the title stuck in my head all week (especially that pre-chorus part ahahaha). i really liked foreshadow too tho omg! border:carnival being your favorite still is so valid tho oh my god…i swear i played drunk-dazed a million times that first week after i heard it LOL. i think border: day one is still my favorite, but i did really like this one too!

i also saw that you said you’d just watched the eternally mv for the first time 😳😳 it’s probably one of my favorites from txt, their lore is so mind-blowing LOL and that mv in particular is so like. moving to me? the scene with taehyun finding yeonjun makes me wanna cry every time ngl 😭

also yeah the vibes enhypen bring with their title tracks are really cool to me, and also their songs in general, i’ve had pass the mic just stuck in my head bc the beginning lines (the “walk the line, i hate the line” part) has been replaying in my mind haha and yes!! drunk-dazed is literally so good, i love that whole ep so much, fever was my most played song last year HAHA and mixed up and not for sale *chef’s kiss* also border : day one is also good given-taken is one of the best debut tracks honestly 😩

OH YEAH! i watched it yesterday with my mom and omg it’s so amazing, i’ve never been as invested in a group’s lore than txt honestly, i love it so much!! also eternally was one of the songs they performed at their virtual concert i watched last week and so i was so curious about the song and when i found out the video was actually an almost 20 minute lore video my brain went 👀✨ the song is so emotional and then it switches to that darker (nightmarish?) side and it reminds me a bit of some of the songs from billie eilish’s bury a friend album. it’s such a cool mv tho and YES when i saw taehyun’s section i wanted to cry bc no i hate that he found yeonjun like that my heart it’s so pretty and heartbreaking all at once 😭😭😭
