but i saw someone brought up Pine lmao and thought i’d remind the general public that not only are they just generally gatekeepy about rlcs [which like.. let’s be real. all of us BO breeders are used to that LOL] but they’re especially shitty on the front of art and have scammed and / or attempted to scam me and multiple others out of both profits for art [ie custom decor sales] as well as items or lions that art was payment for. and wouldn’t you know it, i’m not the only one who’s had issues with them !

they’re banned from my clan for a reason. they’ve taken my art for a rlc and then sold the clone to someone else anyways mid-commission, they’ve tried to list a commissioned CD in the catalogue for their own profit WITHOUT ASKING the artist and then got pissy and threw a fit in main chat after the artist [very rightfully] told them they couldn’t do that, and i’ve had countless people within the clan tell me or other staff members that pinenut just flat-out makes them uncomfortable or give us stories of them undercutting newbie rl winners.

@bogwhisker — did you talk to modbox about it? that situation sounds absolutely gross and you should be able to talk to mods abt it if you gave your artwork and never received your rl. as long as you have screenshots and proof it’s their discord (ie if they have their discord on their ld profile or if they linked you to their profile through discord, etc other ways) you should be able to have something done— because you 100% got scammed, hun /gen (if hun is okay to say!!!)

ah, my apologies on the confusion ! i meant “that’s something completely different” because when i hear “stolen art,” i mostly think of claiming someone else’s work as your own / tracing / etc rather than scamming with a commission. people can word the same thing different ways though, i 100% get what you mean / where you’re coming from anon
